  1. Might be just a little awkward... Probably wasn't a public meeting or otherwise it may have went "And the Lord Mistborn told IronEyes to take a hike, or wasing the was without the hiking." There would probalby be an aspect of that conversation somewhere in the religions. Either way, Marsh will always mean death and doesn't appear that he has much of an issue with that (he runs around in a black robe after all!).
  2. I agree that Sazed's words were probably censored for the public (first instance of government power!). The last thing that Spook and the others would want is crazy people running around with spikes. I think some of the religious knowledge may have been obscured though. Miles made some comments on Trellism that is decidedly different from the religion we heard from Sazed in the original trilogy. Either the record was lost with time, or Spook and the others wanted to create unity by keeping diversity to a minimum. Probably not a bad idea in the very beginning. One thing that puzzles me though, is whether or not Spook and the others ever met up with Marsh again? BTW Dockson= God of Logistics
  3. The issue I have with Miles being spiked is who would know how to spike him? Sazed and Marsh are the only two that we know for sure could do it. Spiking people seems againist anything that Sazed would do. Marsh... what would be his motivation do something like that? It is possible that maybe the kandra knew about spiking, but they seem to be keeping a pretty low profile. Another issue with the spiking is that the spike had to be somewhere that could not easily be dislodged. With Miles tendency for getting blown up/shot this might be pretty hard to do without him noticing. Chances are, when he did notice, he would probably remove said spike since it would mess up the healing process.
  4. Somebody left Elantris on the counter at my workplace... I stared at it for eight solid hours and decided to bring it home with me since the owners didn't seem to want it anymore. I had never heard of Sanderson or any of the books he wrote but for some reason, I wanted to add Elantris to my book shelf. I started reading it a few days later... I don't believe I have ever been obessed with a book before. Immediatly afterwards, I spent 30 bucks on The Way of Kings hardcover and finished within two weeks. Mistborn was finished withing four days... the rest is history. So looking forward to the next Mistborn book!
