  1. Writing in public is super awesome actually, because even if nobody cares what you're doing you can always trick your brain into thinking that they'll all start judging you if you start browsing Reddit or researching obscure grammar rules instead of actually writing.

      Wait that’s so fair-

  2. Since my job blessedly lets me have an earbud in while I work, and since I'm caught up on all my podcasts, I've started listening to audiobooks. I just finished an Era 2 reread this way, and today I started again the Way of Kings.

Storms, it's good to be back.

  3. Hey there!

Just wanted to say that I love your member title! 😄

That was such a good talk!

Thanks! It was, wasn't it? I figure I'll probably switch it out every month or so with other quotes from Conference. (The one I had before "Think Celestial" was "It is better to look up".)

  4. Honestly, same. Probably not in exactly the same way, but this kind of thing has been on my mind lately. In any case, *hugs*
  5. Written with a Franklin-Christoph 31 inked with Kyo-no-oto Moegiiro.

For whoever needs to hear it.

  6. Happy birthday!

  7. But I don't want to wait... Sounds familiar. Our ward was just chilling in the waiting area when the music turned off. Nobody thought anything of it until half an hour later, as the other group is finally finishing up, when the worker's like "Yeah, we actually closed a while ago, but it's totally fine, you can go ahead."
  8. It's been an amazing conference. I'll have to go back and listen to the Saturday Afternoon and Evening sessions again, as I was at work and could only hear bits and pieces. I'm not sure yet that I can pick out a favorite talk. And the temples! I'm happy to hear about all of them, but for some reason especially glad to hear about Edinburgh. Not only that, there's already two in that area--Jordan River and Oquirrh Mountain, with Draper just across the freeway. I mean, hey. The existing ones are full all the time. If everyone was as active in the temple as President Nelson has asked, we'd need five in every city.
  9. Just came back from choir practice! While I'm still not particularly confident in my abilities personally, we sounded really good, and I love the pieces we're performing. Can't wait for tomorrow!

  10. I've just finished The Black Locomotive by Rian Hughes. It read a bit like a Nolan film, if Nolan had a thing for trains--so, in other words, I absolutely loved it. However, I do have one major issue, which is...
