  1. I think I might next year money is tight atm, to be honest though all my ideas for tattoos are heavily influenced by my favourite literature Also think that picture would look awesome as a tattoo smallpox
  2. I've been toying with getting the first oath on one of my arms for years, I absolutely love your tattoos lol
  3. Ahh that may make sense I recall some manner if WoB saying the heralds weren't natives to roshar
  4. Currently in the middle of a stormlight reread in preperation for oathbringer and since I had just read last week's chapters earlier the same day I noticed this snippet: "No, I'm not worried about that one. The old fool sows chaos, but does not reach for power offered by oppurtunity. He hides in his insignificant city, listening to its songs, thinking he plays in world events. He has no idea. His is not the position of the hunter. This creature in Tukar however, is different. I'm not convinced he is human. If he is, he's certainly not of the local species" This is from the chapter of words of radiance that Shallan has met with the Ghostbloods as Viel and is hiding in the illusion of a rock she produced. In the Dalinar chapter from last week he receives some spanreed communications from the Tukari God King who reacts strongly against their claims of having new Radiants among them. So think from this we can probably presume he is a worldhopper? Thought this was an interesting wee snippet that'd be cool to share if anyone didn't notice the connection sorry if I'm late to the game and this has already been pointed out
  5. Sounds well reasoned to me, have an upvote! I'd say its even more likely since we've seen that Connection mostly relates to the Spiritual and there consciousness is clearly "Connected" to the Hordelings
  6. Sorry if its in the wrong forum i presumed questions would go in cosmere Q&A, is the first one the WoK one? And thank you very much for your help guys
  7. Friend recently finished the stormlight archive series and commented on it and i said id find them, I've seen the translations before but i've looked everywhere i can think of, help would be greatly appreciated
  8. See if you scroll down on from the second one your on about, theres an interesting WoB about Interplanetary trade O.o
  9. Seems quite likely that Jaddeth and the land coming alive are connected in some manner, doesnt seem that far a stretch, and I'd presume thats being caused by the Dor in some way (Which was created by Odium when the he splintered the shards) that would fit the criteria of that WoB, its Odiums fault but not directly more due to his actions in the past and @jofwu I'd say its probably more likely that connection based magic is going to work in a similar fashion, Sanderson has stated that theres alot of interconnectivity in how the magic functions such as how lightweaving exists in more than one system for one, or aviar that replicate the effects of Copper (Hiding them from the thing in the water) or the flashes of when your going to die remind me somewhat of Atium and some of the other temporal metals, or the fact that healing works based of perception of what the "Fully healed" you would be like, I think if we understand how a mechanic of the magic system works in one world (As far as its effect is concerned, how you access it on another planet is likely to be another matter entirely) that should carry over to repetitions of those abilities through other magic systems
  10. I think its important to mention that people probably HAVE thought of it, (As we see Vin try with Sazed metalmind in the original series, due to the relationships between metals its not much of a stretch to think someone though "hey what if i mix this iron with weight into it with carbon and make it into steel and see what happens" due to how interconnected the metals in the metallic arts are i wouldnt say its much of a stretch) its just people have recently discovered metalminds that lack Identity, which was the reason why allomancers couldnt burn another person metalmind, if you removed the Identity portion of the metal that metalmind is available for anyone with a feruchemical ability to use. Or potentially an allomacer who could burn the metal as we're theorizing
  11. You said we'd identified all the other items, don't suppose you could link me to the list or know off hand the others? Cheers in advance for the help
  12. Sanderson has stated that Hoid just likes to have the last word, so regardless Hoid's probably going to be at the end of every book in this Arc, so thats why he's there
  13. Cheers for the info man wasnt sure quite how much it'd speed up the release
  14. Question on the updates for SA 3 brandon said hes been sending in Part's as they're completed to speed up the editing process if i recall correctly, obviously I'd presume the artwork and suchlike is still yet to be completed but this means the books already in its second draft so when do we think it'll be published? Im aware this'll probably be explained this years State of Sanderson(A.K.A. Koloss Head Munching Day), just wondering if anyone has any idea? Also 98%!
