  1. I started with the Stormlight Archives, so I get you there. and thank you for the compliment!
  2. Hehe that is humorous. I am here to fuel the endless wheel of destruction. And I am totally a therapist. Those are definitely not lies.
  3. Thank you , I really appreciate it
  4. I see it now! Thank you, I have a good visual now.
  5. That’s a difficult question to answer! The magic system in Mistborn is interesting and satisfying, I think I’ll have to pick that.
  6. I can't see the image, but thank you for trying. I'm not sure what you mean by standard 'longer on the top' haircut, but I'll assume you mean something unstyled like a French Crop or some other sort of fringe. I hope it does get moved to the Mistborn section, I put it in the wrong place.
  7. Thank you for the welcome! I am writing a fantasy story, with slight elements of humour, with a world loosely inspired by Wheel of Time, Brandon Sanderson books and Legend of Zelda, featuring a magic system revolving around magical obelisks. There’s a whole origin story about those, but I won’t get into it here just in case you end up reading my story when it’s published (don’t want to spoil it)
  8. Hello, I’m not entirely certain if this is the correct place to ask this question, as I am new to the forum, but I have had a burning question on my mind as soon as I saw it. In page 142 of The Well of Ascension, during Elend Venture’s makeover, this sentence is spotted: ”It wasn’t extremely short like Ham’s hair, but it was neat and precise” I was confused; I found this to be a vague description and I thought about it, tried to find evidence of Elend’s exact style, and eventually I resolved to make an account here and ask: What hairstyle does he actually have at the end of this haircut? Is it a crew cut? A side part? A middle part? If anyone knows the answer to this question, I would love to hear it.
  9. Greetings, humans, kandra, parshendi, and spren! I am known as S.T. Ockenner; that is not my true name, but my pen name (I have yet to publish any of my books, but they are in progress) Lovely to meet you all!
