  1. Haven’t checked it out before now, Thanks for the recommendation!
  2. Hello! I was wondering, is putting some wheel of time stuff in the Coppermind a possibility? I get that it’s not really Sanderson’s series, but I’ve wanted a good compilation of wheel of time info on a solid website for a while now.
  3. Yeah, darkeyes can’t wield swords. Go figure. Most darkeyed soldiers just use spears. It’s because he’s using an honor blade, which I guess isn’t as effective as a radiant bond. I’m pretty sure it’s just to show some early conflict with what Szeth believes to be true, and what the things he believes in believes to be true.
  4. I think it’s plausible enough, but it’s not really practical unless you can do it easily and on a large scale, which as was mentioned above, would take a lot of power. Cool idea though!
  5. I’m still on the side of F-steel. Sure, it’s a pain to store, but super speed is such a ridiculously useful ability in so many areas. Look at the aftermath of Winsting Innate’s auction. You just can’t do much about a steelrunner with a good amount of speed stored up.
  6. I don’t know if any shards could beat Rand. Sure, the’ve got more power, but they’ve also got all these restrictions on what they can do with the it.
  7. I think that’s a reasonable theory, but didn’t Dalinar already appoint himself as champion? If he was killed then Taravangian wouldn’t be exploiting a loophole, but just winning the contest.
  8. Mine is probably Elaida or High Lady Suroth.
  9. There are many unlikable characters in the Wheel of Time, but who is your least favorite?
  10. I totally agree. Syl genuinely cares about Kaladin in a way that you don’t really see with the other Radiants.
  11. A chromium twinborn. It would be like Mat Cauthon on steroids.
  12. Personally, I would go forward with the Stormlight Archives. Starting another series won't necessarily give you more information, and I think that Stormlight is a good starting point to build your knowledge of the Cosmere.
  13. It's always fun to see the lesser characters being pulled along in the wake of Ta'veren.
  14. Hello! This may have already been brought up, but I don't really want to scroll through 14 pages to be sure. What is your relationship with your younger siblings like? Like, are you best friends, more of a parental figure, or do you just leave each other alone mostly?
  15. Is a confrontation with Zahel and Azure a possibility? I don't think it's related enough to the plot of Stormlight to be in the book, but it's also somewhat of a loose end. Maybe it will be addressed in an interlude?
  16. That is very true. It just takes soooo long for people to actually start doing things. I wholeheartedly agree. I'm not sure if this is what king of nowhere is trying to get across, but for me, its not about reading the individual books, because those aren't incredible. It's about reading the whole series. The Wheel of Time as an entity is REALLY good. There are very few other books series where you can find a story that can match the sheer magnitude and brilliance of the Wheel of Time. I don't know how clearly I got that idea across, but basically, I wouldn't recommend the books. They aren't really good. However, I would definitely recommend slogging through the books for the sake of experiencing the whole story.
  17. 1. The power of positive thinking. 2. The ability to always get a "C+" on any test. 3. The ability to make grass grow slightly faster. 4. The ability to not go crazy when you use your powers, but that's your power.
  18. This society is for everyone who has more hobbies than their free time allows for! Feel free to share about your favorite hobbies, and discuss various successes and failures you may have had in them.
  19. I love that. There will definitely be a duet with Kelsier and Vin, but I really like the major/minor idea.
  20. I have been re-reading Way of Kings, and looking for death rattles that might have something to do with the climax of book 5. I haven't finished yet, but I think this one is important. "Ten people, with Shardblades alight, standing before a wall of black and white and red." Any thoughts? I think it refers to the heralds facing an army of Fused and/or Singers, but I could be wrong.
  21. Ideas? The main song should be on trust, but I'm having trouble thinking of good poignant lines.
