I was thinking the same thing hearing about the metal guardians. When the process of the spores being delivered to Lumar from the moons was described, I remember thinking it seemed manufactured. Could Lumar be serving as a storage facility for the spores? Autonomy definitely seems to like cultivating multiple forms of magic, I don't think it would be a stretch to think she's had some influence here.

Hello All! I am Amethorean, I first delved into Brandon's work after completing the Wheel of Time. I picked up Mistborn and become a man possessed. This was in 2016, now I think it's time I finally connected with people who dig as deep into the Cosmere as I do. The Cosmere constantly keeps the part of brain that says "Oh cool, by why does it work that way?" running, the hamster in my brain has been run so ragged it's ready to start speaking the ideals lol.
