Well now that we have a proper scientist in Nivani, if Hoid or Vasher brought this to her and if she survives the next 10 days that stormlight 5 is supposed to cover then she would have time to work on it, possibly. Another alternative is if the humans/ radiant singers are forced to flee Roshar then phase 2 could be the cast going to these other realms to gather Allies to fight Odium back on Roshar. This would allow us to see how all the shards/ magics strengthen each other.

Well to give the second heightening to the three main ladies you would need approximately 600 breaths. And according to the coppermind wiki you can harvest breaths from those not of Nalthis but they would be less than a full breath but more than a drab, so I might venture to say two Rosharins to one Nalthian as far as breaths go. Suppose someone of lax morals found out the possibility of gathering breaths from singers. I’m sure you could round up enough breath from prisoners to give at least one of the main women the second heightening. And since it shouldn’t kill them only make them Drab then it’s not dishonorable. All this to say that if the stormlight archives are meant to bring in all these magics into use then I don’t see why this couldn’t happen. I guess we will just have to RAFO. I can’t wait to see if Hoid manages to combine all the magic systems of the cosmere what he could do, maybe even bring back the dragons?

I wasn’t meaning specifically singing to the Rhythms, but by having perfect pitch one could manipulate the lights since you would have the Tones and the Intent, throw in some empty spheres and you could either drain or funnel light however you would need it. I wonder if you could even overpower a singer or fused to drain their light/ Spren.

So I had a thought. Could someone that has reached the second or third heightening (the one that grants perfect pitch) out sing the Singers and possibly control all the lights? If so could someone like Vasher or Hoid possibly give breaths to Nivani, Jasnah, or Shallan in order to help them either more efficiently use Stormlight or steal the void light from the singers without Aluminum?
