  1. “Ah, yes, I think it’s time to go on a walk. Welp, guess I gotta kill my husband now.” Is that really the logic here?
  2. I think the fact that we’re all nerdy enough to sign up for a forum like this means we’re legally obligated to put Brown at least in our top 3. I’d like to think that I’m brave and tough enough to pick Green, but realistically it’s either Brown with some White tendencies or the other way around. Or maybe some sort of hybrid Orange or Tan ajah.
  3. Don’t worry, none of this is real… he hasn’t actually killed billions of people. I wouldn’t read too much into it. For reasons that are far to philosophical for me to get into with only one cup of coffee, interesting stories rarely happen in idyllic environments.
  4. I don’t think that’d work, genetically speaking. Maybe there was some magical way they could interbreed? Edit: In response to the WoB stating that there’s been some intermixing, I mean.
  5. Where's this hypothetical battle happening? If it's not on (or reasonably close to) Roshar, where would the spren to heal his armor come from? I'm pretty sure we haven't seen anything about that in any of the books yet... Is there a relevant WoB?
  6. I can't decide if https://wob.coppermind.net/events/432-youtube-livestream-13/#e14016 suggests that you're wrong or if it's irrelevant.
  7. Is reading RoW first an option? Seems like that'd solve the problem.
  8. That raises an interesting (well, to me, anyway) question: Since he can't hurt anything, just how all-powerful could he be? Would he be able to fight off an invading god? Would he be able to significantly edit or delete a planet without first relocating its inhabitants? What counts as "inhabitants"?
  9. You can build a shotgun out of schedule 40 iron pipe from the plumbing section along with a few other parts that are pretty easy to find in a Home Depot. Designing a modern, semi-automatic gun is fairly complicated, but as long as you're a reasonably competent machinist, manufacturing them generally isn't hard. I could be wrong, but I get the impression that soulcast stuff is as precise as its original "mold" is, so all you'd really have to do is get a working example to someone with access to soulcasters and sculptors who are precise enough to recreate the parts.
  10. Oh, sorry, no, it's just a reference to an amusing (IMHO, anyway) part of a scene in Oathbringer. The phrasing doesn't quite line up, but it might be close enough to make you chuckle (or roll your eyes at me) when you get to it.
  11. It’s a hard topic to discuss without spoilers (or at least hinting at them), but “Yeah, it’ll be interesting to see how big his role is in future SA books.”
  12. Yeah, within the set of Cosmere books, I might recommend Warbreaker next. I think I remember Amira saying she tried Mistborn and wasn’t getting into it, but maybe I’m thinking of someone else.
  13. That sounds like a good question to keep in the back of your head for a while.
