Yeah, we did fine(except for the awkward 10-second-pause where the lights didn't turn off at the end of scene 8). Either Annie wasn't actually sick or she concealed it very well, because she did great!

Wasn't really the tech's fault: we had someone who was supposed to go off-stage before the lights turned off, but they... weren't led off stage, so the lights didn't go off, so we didn't go off.

Hey y'all! It's my Shardiversary today(has it really been a year?)! And I just wanted to say y'all have been awesome!
First, I'm going to mention someone that I don't really know, but that I admire, and that's @Treamayne My friend, you always are so painstaking in answering all the theories and you always put so much time, thought and effort in answering and citing everything. Go you! Sorry if this is random.
Next up is @Shining Silhouette. You're so friendly and SO AMAZING at piano. You are one of the first people who comes to mind when I think of cool Sharders. I'm not good at articulating my thoughts, so this won't be very eloquent, but just know that y'all are all awesome, not proportionally to how much I say about you.
@CalanoCorvus, you're such a good writer and are so friendly and cool to hang out with. Thanks for reading my story!
@The Wandering Wizard, you're such a cool dude. Your wisdom and randomness are so much fun.

You know when you're reading a book or watching a movie, and you've seen/read it before, and something bad is about to happen, and you're hoping that somehow it'll go different this time... and you're just saying, "Just DON'T DO IT!" because you hope that maybe the characters will be smarter this time, forgetting it'll always be the same?

Wait do you also randomly flip to a page and start reading from there? I did that a ton, going to a random page in a book I'm familiar with, and then finishing the book in a few hours from there. I practically memorized the entire Inheritance Cycle that way.

I already posted this on the Members of the Church thread, but it was an incredible experience for me, so I'm going to put it here too. It's about my beliefs.
I had a really spiritual experience two nights ago.
I haven't really mentioned this on here before but, since I'm the youngest in my family, I'm the only sibling at home.
And... it sucks sometimes. I miss my siblings so much. It's a big gap between me and my next youngest sibling... but we're close. And... it's really hard, knowing that to some/one of my siblings, my home... their home, once... will never be their home again. My brother... has a home of his own. And I barely remember the time before he left home.
And that hurts.
And hearing in books about sibling rivalries and among friends... they don't seem to care about their siblings. They don't seem to care, when their brothers and sisters leave home, that the people they've grown up beside aren't there anymore. It feels, sometimes, like I'm the only person in the world who misses my siblings. I just felt... alone in feeling this kind of pain. I was curled up in the corner of my bed when I felt like I should go to the window.
And then I looked out the window, and saw the moon and thought "we've been on that!" And it reminded me of this video:

Jesus suffered for us. For me. He knows every kind of pain. He's experienced what I'm experiencing right now. He knows what it's like to have siblings move away, and I am in no way alone.
And I realized that He knows the deepest, darkest, stupidest parts of our souls. And he loves us, wholly, purely, and completely, anyway.
The Spirit was washing over me, and I knew that Jesus knew exactly what I was feeling. I imagined Him sitting next to me and wrapping his arms around me and holding me.I have a testimony that He knows us. All of all of us. And He loves us. All of all of us.

Eddie Redmayne deserves twenty-four thousand, six hundred and one Oscars. All I see for Oscars, though is Anne Hathaway, which I find strange because I think Empty Chairs at Empty Tables is far more soul-crushing and heart-shattering than I Dreamed a Dream.
In other words, I had some friends over to watch Les Mis. A group hug was necessary at the end.
