  1. For those that are curious and since I had shared this with Quillin, Devotary, and Alvron in our PM's here's the list of people I had protected with the Knight redirects. N1 - TJ At this point in the game I thought redirecting a person meant I redirected their actions, not actions taken against them. A lot of us were suspicious of TJ but it turns out that TJ was Zelda. D3 - Dannex I am so sorry @Danex legit one of the worst moments I've ever had in this game lmao N4 - Szeth_Pancakes I was suspicious of Tani due to the Drake PM but after Szeth went on vacation I figured they couldn't be an elim and I had some thoughts that it was possible for Szeth to be Link. N5 - Ashbringer Alvron suspected that Ash would be the next target. N6 - Ashbringer Continued to protect Ash. N7 - Devotary Devotary was a suspected Link from both me and Quill due to Alvron's read on them in our PM. N8 - Alvron During the period where I was being voted out, Alvron sent me a delightful PM and roleclaimed as Link. Since he helped me basically getting out of being exe'd, I trusted him more and protected him that night cycle. Ashbringer had sent me a PM and requested that I should not protect them anymore, since they doubted they would be targeted anyway. I've learned a lot! If I could go back and redo some of the things I've done, I would've definitely requested a PM with Danex and I would've protected Archer too. At one point in the game I was like "Archer's not an elim, there's no way." because of just the vibes I got from their messages. Haha I did trust you but I think it was at that point with the gambit I was just very confused and startled by it? I'm a new player so I haven't been exposed to nearly as many games as some of you, not to mention your playstyles! Which was one of the interesting parts to see, in my opinion. It was cool to see how different people played the game! Like I didn't expect it to be like this, I was sort of thinking people would be quiet and whatnot haha? Plus, at that point in the game where I was like "I'll vote for Steel and use these bananas for 1 of the votes on Alvron and ask Quill to trust me" but it was at 3 am and Quill was asleep at that point xDD So with your vote taken off due to mighty bananas on Steel, 'twas a lost cause. Plus I was just very exhausted at that point because some stuff popped up IRL. Despite that, a fun and wild ride for sure! I'll always look back at this game and remember the wildness of it all. /lh <3 Honestly was pretty intense towards the last bit of the game because I was so determined and then at that point I thought perhaps you were an elim because I told you someone role-claimed to me, and I figured you killed Ashbringer since you said "It's either Steel or Ash" so I just went "oh no they lied to me" xDD I had believed you the instant you sent me that cat pic but when Quill spoke to me in a PM the next cycle where Steel role-claimed publicly, I was like "OK, I guess you're right." until later on that night when I was.... "Hmmm...this feels wrong" xD To be honest, I legit did trust you the most besides Quillin, Danex and Archer. YES! Alvron killed Purple, I believe, and I think one of the redirects went to Purple too. Purple was double killed. We're giggling about it like mad. xD SAME! That was an interesting experience. I think if you hadn't mentioned the Mighty Bananas I would've been more inclined to use mine without the hesitation, but as I've said before when that decision came to me it was 3 in the morning, I was in bed on my phone, and the one person I had a PM with was also in bed at that point, probably not committing sleep crimes like I was. XD What I had planned to do at 3 in the morning was cancel Mist's vote on Alvron, contact Quill, and submit my vote for you, but I think with how the numbers turned out it would've just been an RNG? Regardless, no regrets because I had a frickin' blast in this game! When Bip told me it was an error to have me play as a Knight for the first ever game I was left wheezing. I'm surprised all of the people I protected were village, but also proud of myself for that. xD So curious to see what Striker thinks! Will the aftermath doc be added to the original signup thread and closed at one point or do they remain open/archived? I'm just curious
  2. Haha not gonna lie this makes me feel a little bit better about our lose, I was sorta thinking my redirects were very pointless and did nothing at this point in the game since we assumed the Yiga were inactive. I had planned to vote for you at the end and use a Mighty Banana, as I did get one from Devotary, however it seems that wouldn't of done anything. Plus, when I had made that decision it was 3 in the morning and Quillin wasn't on so the vote wouldn't of mattered anyway. Since this game was based off Age of Calamity and Breath of the Wild Link, one of the most chaotic Link's ever, I like to imagine he went out wearing a Bokoblin mask. Just give me this peace of mind, please. Spoilered to keep the image from blocking the pages. It's Bokoblin mask Link!
  3. Sorry, Alvron. I should've trusted you because of how early you came to me as Link. Although I will admit that I had planned to ask Quill to move his vote and use a mighty banana on Steel, apparently Steel also had a Mighty Banana? Either way, good game! That was a wild ride. I totally didn't just wake up at 2 in the afternoon and realize it was the last day lol. I love the fact that Yiga Revali was Kayla. Brilliant. Also definitely have learned a few things about this game that I hope I can use in other games. I made a lot of mistakes. I need to apologize to Danex because I legit defended them during a Day cycle like a dummy and then they died that night cycle aaaaaa. Sorry, @Danex
  4. I'm assuming Ashbringer would've opened other PM's with players but it seems, so far since no one has come forward, that I may have been the only surviving player to have a PM with them?
  5. I think you may have messed up the color formatting again, Quill. xD /lh I think you need the ] instead of ) at the end of [/red] and you'll be good!
  6. Aw man! >:( Well, we know who the other Postman is now. Quill could either be an elim Postman or a village Postman, however it's more likely that he's Village since the elims have their own doc, had one Postman of their own, and had three big roles on their side. I feel like that's been me pretty much this entire game, haha. However, to be fair me and Quill are brand new players. At least for me, this is the first mafia game I've ever played. I still cannot get over the fact that Kayla was Yiga Revali. It's so ironic considering Revali is one of her only favorite Champions in the Legend of Zelda. And she was a pinch hitter player too! I would've expected her to be more active in the public thread if she were an elim, but I guess she likely kept it all in the elim doc to eliminate suspicion considering at least four of us knew each other previously from discord. Same, both Striker and Biplet are excellent writers. However, Striker better take it easy with that sprained wrist. You role-claimed last cycle, correct? You role-claimed Urbosa. I think you have the ability to roleblock a player. If you're village, you're going to roleblock who you suspect is the most elim out of the remaining 5 players. If you were to roleblock an elim, and I defended Link, and Link killed the elim, that would guarantee us a win! However, we'll have to wait and see if we even make it to the night cycle. If we do, then you can take your action I think? I'd have to look but if you're village Urbosa, we believe in you Mist! Although I'm a huge Dungeons and Dragons fan and I totally don't have a dice addiction (hehe ) is that risk worth it?
  7. OOC/G: I'm on mobile but I missed a lot last cycle and I need to catch up on it and now this cycle. I'll respond and give my input and a vote when I can, but I'm preparing for company right now and am unable to really read and discuss atm. I'm on mobile and blue text isn't working so please pretend this is blue text. xD /lh
  8. I'm sorry I was doing my own vote count and my brain went "What in the heck?" lol
  9. Oh wait, nevermind on my blue text. I think I got Steel and Ash mixed up???
  10. I'm going to retract my vote from Quillinthestars and move it to Devotary. I think my vote on Quill was just out pure disbelief that he lost his truth in me that quickly when suspicious of three other people. However, I've shared who I've been defending with him and I shared who I believed Devotary to be. However, after Devotary inquired about it in our PM something felt off about it and it doesn't sit right with me. (OOC/OOG: I think some of you forgot to retract your previous votes before you voted on me, btw. I don't know if that impacts the game and if it does, it is what it is but I noticed it, probably because I'm OCD about that sorta thing but yeah. Sorry it was bothering me and I had to point it out lol djskja)
  11. Don't feel bad it's apart of the game, that's the fun! I just don't understand since I was likely the only person who could protect Link tonight. Here's hoping that Urbosa is also village and knows what's up. There's definitely 2 elims left. If Quill somehow isn't an Elim I'll be shocked. Mist supporting Quill without hesitation also spells elim.
  12. Then my fate is sealed... Good luck to whoever Link is. O7 see you all in the aftermath or dead doc/thread. Of course claiming is dangerous. I trusted Quill and he said he'd keep it a secret in the thread and that role claiming was the best bet for village to win. Quill is the one who opened all my PMs with everyone btw. He's not the only Postman, however. Good luck y'all.
  13. Holy moly I haven't been awake this early since I was a wee lass lol. Sleep schedule you shall be fixed. I never was placed in contact with Dannex. Quill had told me as a part of his trust with him that Dannex had been in contact with him and he opened PMs with Dannex and other players as requested and that unfortunate Dannex took that information with him to his grave. Quill contacted me on July 6th and it took a few days before I trusted them and we started an alliance. Then I roleclaimed to them. A lot of the reads Quill made, I trusted him on since he was right about purple and had no suspicious feelings about them. I have no idea if I have or not but by others comments I'm going to assume I haven't, otherwise it would show in a writeup. Each action I've taken has been meant with "you've successfully redirected any actions taken on this player." I trusted Quill enough and asked for input on who I should protect each night since. For the past few days he was suspicious of Yeet, who has been replaced by Mist. I find it alarming that from one message, he lost that trust he's told me he had since he contacted me and turned around on it. If I survived tonight I refuse to share who I protect anymore because after this I don't even know who I trust unless they can prove it. And even then Quill said he'd open any and all PM's with me to earn that. I was easily fooled. If Quill is an Elim, that likely was how they could know who to attack I guess. I'm going to assume him knowing I'm a Knight just gets me off the list of who Link can be, and gave them an easier chance to make a choice each night turn. Also, not quite sure what you mean in your second paragraph? But I did make a genuine mistake and it's been a punch to the gut ever since. You trusted me before you found out I was a knight and I understand the reason you don't now, but Quill had turned so fast on me *after* he roleclaimed for me in the thread *and* trusted Mist and had no hesitation to vote for me despite their suspision of Mist, and you Ash. Why wouldn't he vote for you when he started to ask me to push for information from you and to keep you on my radar if he died? He could've easily gotten you out with one vote. I know Mist is a new player but that doesn't consider the fact that they replaced Yeet and he was suspicious of Yeet and you. Perhaps it's just some sort of tactic but I don't know. If I end up dead tomorrow from removal, you will all know what to do next. Good luck, village. O7
