I'm not a writer and I don't really want to be one either, BUT I had this idea for a story set between WoR and OB and I wanted to share it in case someone wanted to give it a try/write it for me cuz I'd really like to read it. So here's the idea, or rather how I came up with it, how did Jasnah end up on the Shattered Plains from Jah Keved? She had Hoid, who was incredibely helpful because he had Luck, but how did a princess in a foreign continent with no resources end up across the world? But that's not all of it. I love DnD and the concept of Rune Knights, I love making glyphs, so what if there was a glyph magic system in Roshar? I introduce to you Mralu, a 3rd generation descendant from a Steelpusher in Roshar, daughter of a smith, who makes a living doing carvings and glyphwards. Mralu is sent by her father to Bornwater to get more metal (civil war, they are low on resources and he can't send anyone else because of money issues) when the Everstorm hits and she ends up Snapping and burning the steel of a sword with the ten escences carved into it (the sword had her blood on it, she got cut, she had it cuz she was finishing up a gift). I know, it doesn't make sense from a magical point of view, but I was trying to come up with something that would set her aside from your normal soldier with a glyphward. After the whole disaster Mralu meets Jasnah and Wit, who had traveled to the nearest town to gather up sth, and they witness her doing her glyph knight magic. Because you can't let an Investiture user just slip out of your grasp like that, Jasnah recruits her as a guard on their journey (promising a good payment when they arrive) and so they set out through Jah Keved to the Shattered Plains, having to do some off jobs in some town, gathering intel, and generally avoiding the Ghostbloods and the Sons of Honor. Along the way they come across a nurse (Edgedancer in progress) who just discovered the secret facilities in the hospital of Jah Keved (the death rattles) and they take it down (the diagram planted info framing the ghostbloods), now they have a Cleric in the party. And that's as much as I figured out for now. At the end Jasnah secretly "hires" Mralu to form The Stormwards, Glyph Knights that serve the Radiants (yey another secret organization), and because she's Jasnah she doesn't tell anyone else and makes them work in secret. Some things I think would be nice to add: Mralu becomes and Elsecaller squire (because we need more of those and she would be really OP if she was a Rune Knight and a Radiant), side quests , Aruh joining in the party (Mralu's best friend, they are an ardent (secretly monk), that was apprentice to a worldhopper ardent and they were sent to the Shattered Plains to discover if the knight radiants really returned (they bond with Hoid)), Mralu is queer and ends up with Jenet (the stablemaster), the beginings of Jasnah/Hoid but with actual ace rep. Who (in my head) the characters are based off: Mralu, Gwen from Merlin BBC, and well, Aruh is Merlin (who honestly would be bffs with hoid)

I'm not really artsy but I love glyphs, so I made a subreddit to upload glyph designs and other works in women's script in order to make a fan Archive/Library, and also make requests and posts.
