This is from a long time ago in this topic, but I feel like it deserves to be brought back up in light of recent events

I've seen a thread talking about the "For Ado's Sake" thing, back when RoW first came out. It talks about Bo-Ado-Mishrim, and how that was probably what Roboniel was talking about, which would make sense, because BAM caused the False Desolation, and was one of the most important unmade. That's what I personally think is what the Ado thing is.

I love how there was an entire conversation about whether or not BS is a household name, and about how he has to work on other books and how it takes him so long to get cosmere books, and then Brandon just announces that he wrote 5 storming books in his free time a year later, 3 of which were cosmere. Then proceeds to get the most funded kickstarter ever. In under a week

The problem with Light being the magic system is that there could be hundreds of thousands of different Lights. This is kind of like with allomantic metals. This thread shows a progression of numbers as people slowly realized there were billions of trillions of metals. Ok, a bit of explanation for the title: While aimlessly scrolling through the shard, I saw a random thread about pairing Cosmere powers, and the thought came to me, If a misting/mistborn became a Knight Radiant, would they be able to use Stormlight as a replacement for metals? It sounds a little out there, but Kelsier is trying to find a way to get Stormlight off Roshar. Feel free to shoot this down in any way you can

@elsoberanok, the problem with Kelsier vs. Dalinar is that there is a redemption arc for Dalinar already. He has accepted that he was a bad person. Kelsier, on the other hand, has not (as far as I know) admitted that the murders he committed were bad. Dalinar has forgiven himself. Kelsier has practically admitted that the only reason he killed the nobles was because he hated them. He even enjoyed killing them. Dalinar was under the influence of the Thrill, and he felt horrible about the Rift, so much so that he became a drunkard for years.

If being Topaz has anything to do with it, then why was it made worthless by Hoid wearing it? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is a reference to the "Topaz": Again, I may be wrong. But if I'm not, what is Hoid talking about?

I just have to point out one thing: Somewhere near the beginning (I don't remember exactly) there was a discussion about when Szeth became truthless, and I have an answer that I don't think was brought up. In tWoK, in the Rysn interlude, it is mentioned that Vstim had gotten a truthless from the shin seven years previously. I'm fairly certain that that truthless is Szeth. Also, more on the current topic of seons, what does Ala mean as an Aon? That could be a hint.

I had the most random idea that I want to see happen. I want to see something where all of Kaladin's friends are trying to cheer him up, and just break into song using the live action Beauty and the Beast's song "Gaston". I do need to figure out some lines still, but this is what I've come up with so far (spoilerized for size): I've made it so that Kaladin (which is 3 syllables) is Kal'din (which matches Gaston in syllables).
