  1. Lol I totally feel the same on the voices. I'm off put with Kriss's voice, I can't help from imagining it is Chocoberry from Adventure Time haha. Do you know how the omnibus version is going to differ, like what changes are expected to be made?
  2. I must say it's very easy to get into. It will be my first time consuming a book thru audiobook, and the experience thus far has been great. It feels good to be able to consume this story as the graphic novels weren't doing it for me, and the prose version is not 100 percent canon.
  3. Hey guys. It has been awhile since I've post. I have been steady reading the Cosmere. I recently just finished Oathbringer and Dawnshard. Before diving into RoW, I decided to catch up on everything else Cosmere. All I have left is Mistborn era 2 plus Secret Histories, Sixth of Dusk, and the White Sand series. Now personally I find the Graphic novels very hard to get into. That's why I was very excited to find the Graphic audio versions online for all 3 volumes. I started volume 1 and am enjoying it quite well. I'm about 30% thru. Was anyone else as thrilled for these audio versions as well?
  4. An announcement for the Alloy of Law leatherbound would be fantastic. Bonus points if this leatherbound comes with another Sanderson Curiosity.
  5. Thank you for sharing. You confirmed some doubts I was having. I am glad I found a hardcover copy of Prime but I will hold off on reading until I am at least caught up on the SA.
  6. Thanks for your thoughts. I will hold off on reading it until I finish all of Brandon’s canon Cosmere books first. I really enjoyed book 1 and am pumped to start WoR tomorrow.
  7. Would you recommend reading it? At 800+ pages is it worthwhile in your opinion?
  8. I just finished the canon version of TWoK for the first time today. I also won a hardcover copy of the Prime version which I am quite excited to eventually read. I think I will read the 3 other SA novels and the 2 novellas first and then read the prime version. I've read Prime spoils some things in books 2 and 3. Can the same be said for RoW? I'm curious of those who've read all the current books, thoughts. Does Prime give a deeper look into some of the minds of the characters or is all basically just a completely separate story, irrelevant to the canon story that is out so far?
  9. For anyone interested I noticed they were selling hard cover copies for 20$ on this website https://www.atomicempire.com/Item/197170?utm_source=google&utm_campaign=pla_books&gclid=Cj0KCQiAnKeCBhDPARIsAFDTLTJE7qhvmLsvdXvjZQXHqvSar5gv9WtSuvex6AFPjhmmblfJchAIU9caAtD3EALw_wcB There are lots of paperback copies on amazon now as well.
  10. Thats what I figured, I leave back for VA tomorrow, I'll stop in at an Urgent Care. I have IBProphen for now. Thank you for sharing.
  11. Just wondering if anyone has dealt with this and what you can do to help it. So my concern is potential swimmers ear. I've been in Miami beach for a week now, in the water everyday, and I believe I have water trapped in my ears. To make things worse I ruptured my eardrum trying to get the water out, and now its bleeding. I do not have health insurance and I am trying to heal myself with no further complications. Any advice?
  12. I take nearly 2 minutes per page, I comprehend most of what I'm reading. If I'm really enjoying a chapter or section I can breeze thru much faster with the same amount of comprehension.
  13. Thank you, that is a great piece of advice. I feel I absorb most of what I read so I guess it's not a bad thing to take my time. I just get impressed by how fast some of you can read. LOL
  14. That is great to know, I always figured if I printed it I'd have to do it at an Office company and pay a bunch. Thank you
  15. So I have read on and off most of my life but haven't really became an avid reader until about a year ago. My speed has increased quite a bit since I've been reading daily but I am still nowhere near as quick as some people. It takes a little over 3 hours for me to get 100 pages in. For you quick readers, are there tricks and exercises that help you read faster? Or does it all just come with experience and time?
