  1. This might be slightly besides the point but I have been wondering about something. If Cultivation has truly turned sides and is now on Odium’s side, doesn’t this expose the Stormfather? Odium wanted to kill him but couldn’t as fear of Cultivation’s retaliation. If she truly has switched then Stormfather is truly in trouble. (Slightly off topic haha)
  2. The theory is interesting but I have a hard time agreeing with this; Honor was the god of oaths, and as such it seems both logical (Storywise) for him to die of this, yet illogical because of the Stormfathers insistence that he loved Humans, and that Honor died for them. I suppose it would be plausible for Honor to have sidestepped an oath, but I doubt he would break it outright. More to the point, even Raboniel (I could be wrong here) doesn’t know how Honor died. If it had been something done by the Singers, Raboniel, as one of the nine (formerly) would have known about it. I could be wrong so feel free to help me out here
  3. Yeah this WoB confuses things… I think it might indeed be reforming Adonalsium, but that begs another couple questions: Who is Hoid really? How was he involved in the Shattering, and why did he not take a shard for himself?
  4. A side note; I do believe Trell might be of Odium. If we agree that Mistborn Second Era is after the first Stormlight archive pentalogy, and considering how Odium talked about having people serve his interests across the Cosmere, it would be plausible to assume Trell is an avatar of Odium. Somewhat more terrifying, would be that Dalinar loses the conflict (Which I believe is the definitive next step for SA) would mean that Trell could be Dalinar, serving his new master. I could be wrong though, so please do feel free to contradict me and point the flaws in this
  5. I had a new idea; what if when Maya is revived she acts as an honorblade of sorts? She bestows power after being revived? I could be way off base here but it makes sense in my brain.
  6. I wrote this in another post in reference to Lift, I'll post it here too for people to ponder We know that Lift exists partially in the Cognitive Realm too, so maybe that also allowed her to stay awake during the suppression. Also, Cultivation is known to make people grow and encourages it (seen when Dalinar talks to Cultivation). Progression's secondary aspect is growing plants which would link to Cultivation and the growth of all things. Her spren calls Cultivation 'Mother' and this shows that if Progression is Cultivation's surge, it explains why Lift can use Progression. Perhaps it can also be linked to the presence of Lift in Urithiru where the Sibling (Child of Honor and Cultivation) both reside. Maybe the influence of a heavily invested spren overrides the suppression? This could also be another reason for the Windrunner's becoming lucid before the other orders?
  7. I'm guessing temporary pain? Raboniel felt pain with the anti-voidlight rhythm but she recovered quite quickly. I could be wrong...
  8. Honestly, this whole mixing of previously mixed lights seems like a flawed concept. Where does it end? it would be a spiral with no end in sight.
  9. I'm gonna guess that it would cause both spren and radiant incredible pain. Maybe even temporarily sending the spren to a state prior to the bond? Who knows.
  10. Yeah I'm not sure if the whole reverse Nahel Bond makes much sense. I mean, when Syl left Shadesmar she was like a windspreb and couldn't remember anything. Kaladin strengthened her and she in turn strengthened him. The difference here is Maya is damaged in Shadesmar not the physical realm. So how exactly would it work? I believe it has previously been said Maya was an edgedancer spren, would she be revived to that? Because prior to Ba-Ado-Mishram's imprisonment, dead eyes had never been seen before. Perhaps their identity was stolen and Maya bonding with Adolin is forming a deeper Connection and therefore remembering? I could be wrong in my linking of ideas here pls don't judge

  12. True. Perhaps he is twisting the words of the agreement? Despite their shards, the vessels themselves are human and loopholes can be made and overlooked.
  13. Investiture works by utilising cracks in the soul and putting itself into the cracks in the soul. This can be physical or emotional, like Kaladin's depression or Scadrial's snapping people by beating them (pre-Catacendre [sp?]). In Rhythm of War, he gives Maya his strength, as opposed to, say, Syl's relationship with Kaladin wherein she covers his cracks in the soul, here Adolin helps Maya recover herself. Adolin hasn't been through a large amount of trauma, and therefore his soul isn't really broken as Kaladin's is.
  14. It has been theorised that Odium exploited the agreement to splinter shards, but since Rhythm of War, I felt that anti-investiture was involved. But whatever the means, it is yet to be seen how he reacts to Harmony's power. But to be fair, some say Harmony's powers are technically opposing each other as he can't act in situations where some believe he should.
  15. I agree with this as some spren in Shadesmar were shocked at how fast the new Knights progressed despite millennia and the lack of the Heralds to guide them.
