  1. "I don't want that to happen ever again. I thought I'd died."
  2. Elsie just sat there in silence, looking slightly traumatized.
  3. It took a good three to five minutes, but eventually Elsie faded back into view. Her face was ashen pale, and she kinda looked like she was about to throw up, but she was visible again.
  4. She paused, suddenly embarrassed at her massive overreaction. "Oh." She said, face bright red. At least no one could see it.
  5. Elsie looked at him. "How is this ok?" She asked, still invisible and inaudible. "I'M FREAKING DEAD! I'M A HECKING GHOST!"
  6. Elsie was too busy screaming at the top of her lungs to hear him.
  7. Her eyes widened, and she went into full blown panic. "OH MY GOSH I'M DEAD-"
  8. She looked up, suddenly feeling scared. She was still crying. "I'm right here." She said. But no one could hear her.
  9. She just sobbed harder, assuming that was just him ignoring her more blatantly.
  10. Elsie started to lose her weak grip on her emotions. She started phasing in and out of view, until eventually she just seemed to blink out of existence. Elsie felt cold as she walked back into the train car. She didn't know she was invisible, and plopped down into her seat, head buried in her hands as she sobbed quietly. No one would have been able to hear her.
  11. "Don't worry about me." She said, fake smiling. She stood up, and started walking towards the train car. She gripped her arms, digging her fingernails in a bit.
  12. "It's not your job to make me happy. Are we going to rejoin the group?"
  13. "It's not your fault. I just gotta be less sensitive." She said. She looked at him and tried to smile.
  14. Elsie just silently nodded, not looking up. "Yeah, ok." She eventually whispered.
  15. She sat silently for a minute before responding. "But... What if you leaving is what hurts someone?" She asked.
  16. "Don't be." She said, wiping her face. "You should do whatever makes you happy." The tears kept coming, so she turned her head in the other direction.
  17. She nodded, squeezing her arms. "Yeah, I remember." She whispered, eyes filling with tears.
  18. "Are you gonna leave too?" She asked quietly.
  19. Elsie wilted. She watched Jenny leave, obviously hurting, and knew she could do absolutely nothing to help.
  20. Elsie let go of Jenny, and just looked between the two with concern. "Can... Is there anything I can do to make either of you feel better?"
