  1. I'm really interested in playing this. The theme and mechanics sound great. However, not sure whether I can start playing. Please put me down as a possible pinch hitter for now. Thanks!
  2. Oh cool. I just want to mention that I'm very interested in this, but I won't be available to play until around the middle of next month. So I probably wouldn't be able to play the first game of this, but I'll be checking back to see how things go and hoping there's a second.
  3. Oh man, is the game already over? I wasn't able to get to the thread until now, and probably would have needed time to catch up and figure out what was going on.
  4. Please put me as a pinch-hitter for now. I might join as a player later when it gets closer to the start. BTW, it looks like the 24th is a Friday, so I assume you meant the 23rd.
  5. Hello. Just want to mention that I have an interest in this, but haven't had a chance to read everything carefully and design a character.
  6. I attacked Devotary again. Kind of a hero shot. I actually attacked them C1 as a placeholder attack and didn't get a chance to return and see the vote and change it. I think everyone claiming attacks is a good idea. I think that's where we'll find the lying because we'll be able to work out where the Marks should or shouldn't be and why someone claiming to attack someone didn't result in a kill or stuff like that. That's where the TDs will slip up in action claims.
  7. BTW, I think there is also incentive to take hero shots early. Like if there is someone that is highly V read but that you find suspicious and have a bad feeling about and you really think you should check, you better take your shot early while they are less likely marked. Oh sure, glad to help!
  8. We are shaping their Mark choices with our votes. They will assume that the people voted for are seen as likely Villagers, so less people are likely to attack them. So their Marks will go on people not voted for.
  9. I would guess they used the immunity. I think it's best to use it at the beginning to keep around as many people as possible. They need to last as many turns as possible to get people marked. I'm going to put my vote on xinoehp512 I just find this argument confusing. What are we establishing with claims that will catch anyone in a lie? There are only 2 factions. It is not like we are gathering claims on roles and can compare actions. We can't really catch anyone lying about actions or something. We can only look at numbers. And the numbers will mostly work out if the TDs split their claims.
  10. Pro-social is probably fine to get a better impression like any game of perspective slips and such. As for cooperation, I was actually considering whether we should coordinate attacks, like have everyone attack the person below them in the list. That way each player is hit and therefore each TD. Of course removing the voted player. Though coordinating something like this might take away some of the fun.
  11. Yeah that's fair. Actually it was pretty much off-the-cuff at the time. I hadn't really put much thought into the game. Reading and catching up on mobile while I have a little time. I saw some talk about claiming. I've been trying to think how it really helps Village and can't see that it will. The Elims will probably just split their claims so that the numbers even out for pairs. And as players get removed, the numbers will go down mostly evenly. And if there was the thought that Elims want to eliminate pairs quickly, knowing all the claims allows them to split their marks between factions for the best chance at hitting pairs.
  12. Well, naturally if the person voted is V, they won't mark them. And they might choose to use their group immunity 1st round. If the person voted is E, then likely they wouldn't use their group immunity since at least one of them is already immune.
  13. Oh, I remember the previous version of this game. I think I replaced into that. I would love to join this one, but I have a couple other games starting soon, so I don't know that I can manage this.
  14. Nice, way to go! Yeah, the Elims did really well but eventually got cornered with no way to really get out of that.
  15. TUN Now that Dannex is dead, TUN is the last one in my PoE as well. I'm okay with shorter days.
  16. Wow, I still don't know how you pulled all that off with the reaction test. I was so confused about what you were doing exactly and didn't want to give anything away. Good job! But Cin was targeted by the Elims the other night, right? So couldn't be Cin. The last 2 Elims are probably Dannex and TUN.
