  1. 72% Windrunner. I think that fits me pretty well.
  2. Definitely. I originally had them near the end of my list for the order I was going to read through but I enjoyed the first trilogy so much I think I'm going to move them up to just after Elantris.
  3. That makes sense. Just cause Shan might have seen Vin split at the last second doesnt mean she had the ability to get out of the way of Vin's blow.
  4. If you mean in general, then To Kill a Mockingbird. Probably. If you mean Sanderson/Cosmere, then probably Hero of Ages. Final Empire did some worldbuilding and Well of Ascension built on it a bit, but I think Hero of Ages really kicked that and the mythos into high gear. Plus I loved the ending.
  5. I've only read the first Mistborn trilogy and the 11th metal short story so far (and Way of Kings, but I doubt that matters for this), so please no spoilers for anything I havent read yet. Atium gives it's user the ability to see briefly into the future. So in a fight, you can see the image of what the person is getting ready to do. But if you are currently using Atium and seeing images of your opponent, shouldnt the images disappear slightly before your opponent actually starts burning their own Atium, since your Atium should be giving you the knowledge that they are about to burn it as well? I just dont see a big difference between Atium's ability to tell when an opponent is going to doge left vs when they are going to start/stop burning a metal since both of those are bodily things. In the first trilogy, ther one place where this could actually have affected things is Vin's fights with Shan. Since Vin surprises Shan by turning her Atium back on, Shan should have been briefly warned that Vin was going to start burning Atium again. Am I misunderstanding something about Atium's ability here? Is the difference here that movement is something you can see whereas burning a metal isnt?
  6. Hello there, Im SheriffHeckTate. I read Way of Kings a couple years back have since gotten all of the Cosmere books available on Audible. I hadnt gotten around to listening to them all, but when I saw Rhythm of War was coming out this fall, I figured this was a good time. I just completed the first Mistborn trilogy (which was great) and just dived into Elantris. I'm definitely not going to make it all the way through the current stuff before Rhythm drops, but thats alright. I'm enjoying the journey. Borrowed White Sand 1 and 2 from my local library, then learned about the prose edition, which I just snagged, and Aether of Night, which I've requested. Should I just read the prose and skip the graphic novels (especially considering I cant get the third one)?
