Wow...this was SO helpful. I recently just finished the Mistborn 1st Era Trilogy and am now working through Elantris. I kept hearing from other fans about the "cosmere" but had no idea how to grasp the concept. Thank you for the insight and explanation!

Hi Everybody, I'm new the the Cosmere but have been running a Sanderson Marathon for the past 2 months through Audiobook. Powering through one after another and loving each book! One thing i'm having a hard time figuring out is the geography of a lot of these places. Unless i've missed it, this website doesn't have a forum or section for maps specifically so I wanted to see if ya'll could help me out! My hope is that this thread grows from legitimate maps of all the worlds in the Cosmere to include all the fan art as well! Right now, i'm specifically looking for a good map to reference while I listen to Elantris. Maybe I'm dreaming here? I don't know what all is out there but I hope we can compile a helpful collection for everyone! If you have an image that you use to reference while reading any Sanderson books, please feel free to post it below! (Also someone let me know if i'm just missing the right thread and kindly point me in the right direction). Here are 2 maps I've used so far. One for the Final Empire and one sub-par map for Elantris. Thanks!

Ah but what comes before the Bands of Mourning? From the forums I've read it sounds like Secret History should come almost last. I haven't got to Stormlight yet, my current debate is either Elantris, Emperors Soul, or starting Stormlight books. Though I think I want to figure out the dynamics of the Cosmere before jumping into Stormlight and it sounds like Elantris and/or Emperors Soul are a good way to do that. Thoughts?

A brief bit about myself, i'm an avid Fantasy reader and nothing pleases me more than quality world-building. LOTR is king in my eyes, but after reading 4 of Sandersons books I realize i'm in for quite the ride. Excited to dive into the Cosmere, just wrapped up Mistborn 1-3 and Alloy of Law. Trying to determine what direction to head next...
