Should I:
- Start another 4-hour episode of Critical Role
- Start Season Six of Red vs Blue
- Or finish the most recent Sanderson livestream?
What to do, what to do...

Start watching anime!
Join another RP!
F) None of the above!
Get some sleep!
-
No, I didn't finish the one I started!
Haven't found one that really seems to have an opening!
I keep a close eye on the clock during the school week and it ain't turn-in time yet!
-
I will make an opening for you!!!

Why is it that the instant you're looking for a kind of LEGO, it's gone. Vanished. Never existed.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I can find eighty-one cents, but not a LEGO mug.

Scud. Hang on... pic didn't load.
Spoiler -
Give me five minutes.

This isn't even all of them, I couldn't move some of them to a comfortably anonymous filming location.

Thank you, Mat!

Is anyone else seeing a weird thing where the post dates suggest that we're already in 2021?

It'll be fine once we switch over to the new year, I guess.
Wait, but if the time zone thing was true, then we would have similar issues near midnight. Perhaps it's only with the year? -
I don't knnnnnnoooowwwww.
I've never seen anything like this before.
-
I killed the bots, don't worry.
The site does weird things at the new year, yeah. It'll be normal again soon.

Knees: If you don't calibrate them properly, things Will Go Wrong. Alternatively, you can keep a baby gate from falling over with the back of them!
Now that I have your attention, if I made a thread to discuss all things Middle-earth (Silmarillion, HOME, Hobbit, LOTR, all of it), would anyone be interested?
-
I might participate....
I've only read The Hobbit and tFotR, but I love the LotR movies and hate the Hobbit ones, so... (We just bought the extended edition of tFotR last night, and we're going to finish watching it tonight. Now we just need to get the extended edition of The Two Towers so we can have all three.)
Also, the extended edition of RotK is my favorite movie of all time, so...
Yep!
*disappears in puff of smoke*
-
Nice! I'll probably make the thread tomorrow morning, I'm tired tonight.

That was a fantastic attention getter; I had no clue where you were going with that
Yeah, I'd totally participate in that!
It might also help prompt the Silmarillion reread I've needed to do for months now

Hey, @Matrim’s Dice? Remember that thing I said earlier about it not ever snowing for me?
Yeah, it's snowing.
Holy woah.

Hey what about me?
-
Yes, come to Washington!
-
Uh-oh, I live on the other side of the country. Sorry.

A thought from my shopping expedition today:
'Oh, the weather outside is frightful... yeah, that's about it, it's windy and rainy and I'm wearing too many jackets'.

-
I wish. Nah, it just pours the liquid wrath of the heavens over here.
-
Rain is fantastic.
So is snow.
Both are amazing.
Snow means skiing, and rain means running through puddles in the middle of the street even though you're no longer a young child.
Both are fun to climb trees in.
It is neither snowing or raining here, however. Which is unfortunate.
-
Somehow, despite the rain, there's still a little bit of snow on the ground from last night.
I couldn't be happier

Breaking my usual one status update to twenty five posts rule because a) someone please tag me when State of the Sanderson comes out so I don't miss it, and the last episode of Mandalorian season two is today and i'm so excited!

I don't need thanks for telling the truth.
You're welcome, though.
-
Oh wait, I reread it. You do not like the sequels, I presume.
-
As I said, those are very conflicted thoughts, and not really ones I want to discuss in a status update. I'd rather talk about those in a PM.
-
Anyone else on Team Has to Wait to Watch the Livestreams Because the Internet Isn't Good?
I want the Stormlight discussion!!!!!

He's growing up! And yes, I'm an Edgedancer. My second was Windrunner.
-
I was tied for Edgedancer and Lightweaver.
-
Ahhh.... I love macaws. Especially Jello. I need to finish reading a book, but then I'll go back and watch it.

I have three 2+ hour long videos open right now.

I'm still trying to get through ep 25 of campaign two. That's one of my massive videos.
I'm stalling. I'm very aware that I'm stalling.
-
And now Overlady Reads is out...
-
That's what I'm using to stall.

Okay, I think I'm done with being an Ookla.

Exactly, so I had to place it myself.
-
So, I finished Rhythm of War.
Also, in case anyone was interested, the weight of all four Stormlight Archive books, not counting Edgedancer, is 10 pounds, 4.6 ounces.
- Show previous comments 5 more
-
What are pounds? -
I... cannot understand measuring systems for the most part, so I cannot explain.
-
Nvm, I can just search the conversion.
-
UNITE THEM!
1200 pages, my ability to focus, and my money combine into one, creating a book that I have managed to not get spoiled for! Whoohoo!
I'm proooobably not going to be around much for a few days. I'll still be here, just not as often, and probably won't do as much.
If anyone who has already finished (or mostly finished) wants to 'listen' to me read (by that, I mean there's totally going to be parts where I need to scream to someone), let me know!

I have finished the book.
-
Audiobooks are great. You can get so much done, while listening to your favorite books! Hardcovers however, are still better.
-
Audio books are the worst of both worlds, that being books and movies/tv
-
Guys, we're two days away. Two days.
Aggggghhhhh
I'm beginning to feel the first stirrings of immediate pre-release excitement in my bones.
How am I going to get through school on Monday without talking about this non-stop?
(I know my counting is kind of skewy, it makes sense to me, okay?)
- Show previous comments 2 more
-
My advice, pick a time you'll read it that's not the release date. That has made me not obsess over it because even when it's out, I'm not reading it right away.
-
And I’m still only ten percent through Oathbringer. . .
-
My dad won't let me read it until he finishes it.
-
Dawnshard came!

My Dawnshard came this morning!
SpoilerI hope I don't destroy Earth with it...
-
Well, I was fully expecting something much longer. But still. It's amazing!
-
Hehe. I loved Dawnshard! It was great. If you’ve read the book , an want to make a meme, come here!
(I hope it doesn’t get stolen)
-
Upon research I have determined that the average 380-420 page YA novel, is in fact readable in one sitting. Also known as: I should probably go to the library soon.
Oathbringer's Sanderlanche takes precedence.

-
To be fair, the font size was larger and the pages smaller than other books I've read. But this happened three times in the past three days, so it might not be a coincidence.

I already knew that, sorry. I read really fast. Impressive, though!
-
I read Oathbringer chapters 105-ending (including the final set of interludes and the epilogue) in one sitting. (I fell asleep after 2:30 in the morning.)

Halloween countdown: what hair would a female Mistborn have? Ponytail, braid, three-quarter ponytail? What do y'all think?

your school does a trunk-or-treat? We just do it with our ward (and unfortunately on my cul de sac)
-
Yes, we do. The ward usually does a trunk-or-treat, we're not going to this year because of corona.
-
Our school has much to many people to do one. Sadly our ward one was cancelled by a certain annoying virus.

The ultimate costume: Todoroki, but with Zuko's outfit and Kaladin's brands. Or Zuko with Todoroki's outfit and Kaladin's brands. Or Kaladin but Zuko's outfit and Todoroki's hair. I call it: The Scarred Honor Trio costume.
-
The Halloween countdown has begun!
And by that I mean I have to finalize my costume (makeup, if any, hair, and accessories) by Friday. So, anybody have even the faintest idea what Mistborn makeup would entail? Eyeliner, contour... what are y'all thinking?
Please help, I don't know what I'm doing.

So... grey eyeshadow on your face, not just your eyelids? I thought about that, but my only eyeshadow palate is natural colors and they all have shimmer. I could use contour, but it's brown, not gray.
I'm not taking a weapon because I'll have a coin pouch (and my parents said no).
No, long replies are great!

I have a stone knife made from a stone spearhead that I had for no reason and a short piece of wood lashed together with some string and sealed with rosin

It looks scary but also fun. I do a lot of high-ropes stuff, and it's always thrilling. I think parkour would be the same.
-
I've wanted to try parkour since I somehow found an Assassin's Creed parkour video. I don't play the game, but wow, it was cool.
-
Hehe. Parkour is scary, but really fun and worth the pain. By that I mean you fall a lot and get hurt. But when you’re done, it’s worth it.
