  1. And wins because it's not Christmas anymore. And because I'm the Singer of Flames again.
  2. Alyssa shivered in the parlor, left alone by everyone. Nerin hadn't even noticed her on the stairs, in a small ball, rocking back and forth. What could she do? John and her were alone in an unfamiliar city, surrounded by hostile natives. True, the parlor band had been good enough, but they asked to many questions. ------------------- John made his way through the ally at the side of the warehouse. It seemed they hadn't wanted them, so he left. It wasn't his fault if they died. Was it? All he needed to do was make his way to the parlor. He figured that Alyssa was still there, and then they could head for that park in the center of the city. If they did that, they could get back to the Cognitive Realm and make their way out of here. He had heard of a city, a city other than Silverlight. Alleycity. Where things like his mobile came through. But one thing at a time. Just find the parlor.
  3. What if one day Brandon Sanderson took a break from writing, and looked at the 17th shard. Let's say he found this topic. What would happen?
  4. Very good points. He hated working with people who didn't know what they were doing. But it's to late. We sit here now, talking. You've already associated with me. The avatar smiled. In fact, everything that has ever interacted with the dark has associated with me, albeit in a roundabout fashion.
  5. John dove to the side, breaking through a door and accidently knocking... Knocking a cop over? "Sorry about the doughnut," he said quickly, nodding at the frosted pastry on the floor, before running through the building.
  6. The thread has been silent for 36 minutes. I win.
  7. *Composer appears* "Relinquish your contact at once, essence." The Didact, apon discovering the conversation between the Librarian and the Master Chief, Halo 4.
  8. 9/10 for both. Original, but confusing. I am OOKLA the Tenno.
  9. I lost. Again. You might want to hide, Truthless...
  10. The avatar sat down, a very simple chair appearing behind him. What I seek is a simple action. Currently, several of your people are interacting with... Gáthen. Could you perhaps have one of them, accidently, turn off the sensors? You, and they, would be rewarded. And don't say you have everything you want. No one does. @Ookla the Stand User
  11. I stop, listen to the announcement. Then I go and start pacing in front of my enterance, hoping to wait until the feast without getting killed by the shimmering things.
  12. When you go to school and realize that your language arts teacher put Harry Potter in the nonfiction section. My teacher, by the way.
  13. I just read the Wikipedia article on the first page. I lost the Game.
  14. It was shocked. You do not make idle conversation with the most powerful of Magics. It released him, and formed an avatar, one which seemed to mimic the person in front of it, yet dressed in pure black. Who said I was civilized?
  15. In the darkness, something watched. The thing that had scared beings for billion of years. It was the Dark itself. It wrapped around the Magic, binding it with something far more primal, untamed, something more powerful. You have something of mine, Magic. @Ookla the Stand User
  16. So Truthless... Why was I mentioned? And what on Roshar is this?
  17. John continued walking down the street, occasionally stopping to look at different shops. I'll be able to have it all. Once I get my winnings, of course. He hadn't technically won yet, but unless there was a teleport... He saw light glowing down the street. He instantly broke into a run. He was so close, so close... The rules of the game were simple. Start at one part of the planet, and make your way across. First one there, wins a gewethan, an item of intense value. You could use anything to get from point A to point B. Where did they get a teleport, though? And how did they get that money? A teleport often was worth the price of an entire Solar System; and they were a one use deal. Lord Teananla. He ran faster.
