Eyyy good news! I participated in my first ever speech meet yesterday and I won 5th place in the humorous category! I’m finally finding things I’m good at and truly enjoy this year and leaving behind the things that were more “toxic.” (In relation to the other people) My only wish is that I had done these things freshman year so I would’ve had more time to enjoy them. Oh well, I’ll enjoy them for the year and a half I have left.

That is an excellent accomplishment, nicely done!
Props to you for doing things you actually enjoy and leaving behind all the ick. That can be difficult to do!

Sorry this is a little late, but that's awesome! Was it a humorous interpretation, or a humorous platform, like after dinner speaking?
Also, you should join the speech and debate club!
