Loved the discussion of Bloody Tan and Lessie. I like the idea that Tan is a failed agent of Harmony, possibly driven insane by the idea of a loss of free will (or loss of autonomy?), and that all people were puppets. I thought it might be worth adding a crackpot theory: Tan was embalming or mummifying people and posing people in a bizarre imitation of their lives and occupations. It seems like he was preserving them. This seems to argue he was influenced by Harmony. Sazed keeps talking about the problems of wielding Harmony, the balance he has to keep. Maybe Tan is a result of trying to use too much of Preservation? Tan seems to be taking preservation to its natural extreme, killing them in order to do so, or in the process of doing so.
