  1. The Wheel of Time is lengthy, but the boring parts are totally worth the world building Brandon Sanderson and Robert Jordan did. Wayne is hilarious, although I think the first part of Mistborn is the better.
  2. Just wondering. Is your name a Wings of Fire reference? If so, would you like to join the FanWings club?

    1. DawnStalker

      DawnStalker

I've seen my friends reading that  book series and I mean to get around to it, but I kept finding different Cosmere books (I only just finished). I came up with the name, by accident^_^. I didn't even know. Perhaps I will incorporate it somehow. This name for me literally means what I say about it on the about me page.Once I've read it, I'll happily do so.

  3. It makes sense as prior to Gavilar's death, I'm pretty sure it was the Listeners that gave him the Honour Blade, to kill the king, as I remember something about a Listener chapter. Although I am probably remembering wrong and the Shin were the ones who gave it to him. But I love this theory and it makes a lot of sense. I suspect that somewhere in the Shin,Nale has a puppet or else someone else like the Ghostbloods or another group that want to return the heralds by keeping their blades in one spot.
  4. Ha! Airsick Lowlanders! Horneaters do not change their minds easily
  5. Ahh, that's better. Using a picture of Odium to indicate the dawn wasn't exactly the best-_-.

  6. Lightsong was like the male lazy Lift, and I enjoyed his philosophies. You've gotta love the scenes with him and Blushweaver. And him, handing her a sheet of what their conversation was going to be was hilarious. BS perfected the random uselessness and his final act of kindness to Susebron was heart warming.
  7. But what if there is something beyond Honor and Odium. This is a deep question- - what happened to Adonalism- Did it just break or was there another force? I think that a smaller force found a way to shatter it. The smaller force is bigger than almost all shards but is two scared of destruction to attack them, so he planted someone to take odium's shard. Someone crazy and easy to manipulate. That's why odium shatter's shards, so no one can unite them and challenge the other force.
  8. Yeah, Azure I thought was a Kaladin style, and I can't help feeling that we will have a confrontation between her and Szeth is coming which would bring her back to the bulk of the mains at he end of Oathbringer, so that could work. it seems like Kaladin's partner will definitely be someone of whom he has conflicted with. Jasnah won't be married until late in the series, and when she does it will be a head over heels one because that is more entertaining. I feel that if it is Jasnah then its either what I said before or a Kaladin in love but turned away and then Jasnah dying to save Dalinar, and in her last moments telling Kaladin that she really did love him, but she couldn't have any soft points as Queen.
  9. Wow! He is so old. Maybe over all that time that is where he got his well- nurtured sense of humour from. I love all of the scenes with wit in it, although he is funniest in the Stormlight Archive I think.
  10. What a witty comment Witswit. I have been in your place over a million times for Wheel of Time and the Cosmere. I don't even know if,--in my school-- there is a single person that has even read these books, which sucks. Sort of like Kaladin style with the bridgemen who don't care, but I'm more of a Shallan than a Kaladin. Before I start giving you a philosophical lecture about the lack of righteousness in the lighteyes, welcome to the Shard friend.
  11. I am the guy who sit (free time) in class and instead of playing gun games, I go onto forums and make nerdy jokes about quotes of Brandon Sanderson.
  12. Airsick lowlanders!
