  1. Hi, 1st at all, sorry for my bad english. [Era 1 Mistborn Spoilers] I have a question, what is the difference between Sliver and Vessel? in Coppermind says that the two is someone that have and/or use the power of a shard, but I just read this in Coppermind "Vin is a Sliver of Preservation on account of holding Preservation briefly. She was not a Sliver after using the Well of Ascension" Maybe Vessel is when someone becomes a part of the Shard and Sliver when you have the power and can use it? as Vin did when arrived on WoA. I read that a Vessel must imbused with Shard's power. And Vin became a Vessel at the end of Heroe of Ages, right? Thanks!
  2. Hahahah I can see the frustration in your companion eyes... And yes, I have a ebook and is so easy research words and phrasal verbs in a English and English-Spanish dictionary! Thanks! EDIT: BTW, I just see your Valentine's day cards, and I have fallen in love!! I will sent (with your permision and credits)the Vin and Elend card to my couple! She don't read BS and I insist that she do it...
  3. Thanks to all! I think I will start Reckoners then! I will read it at the same time than Well of Ascension, I'm currently reading it. Hmmm... tbh I don't read a lot fantasy by Spanish authors to recommens some book that can be easy to read. But when I was teenager I read a lot Harry Potter, maybe read the Spanish translation can help you. And a book that I felt in love when I was 15-16 years aprox (and still being one of my favourites) and the writter is from Spain is "La Sombra del Viento" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon, ("The Shadow of the Wind"), I don't remember that was complex for me, but you must consider that I was 15-16 years, and maybe my Spanish vocabulary and level was pretty high if you started with Spanish recently. Sorry, but I think that the best book recommendations are English translations if you are interested in fantasy books.. My couple says me the same... haha thanks for the advice
  4. Hi! As you can will see in my post, I'm not pretty good in English (I'm from Spain), but I want improve myself, and since I learned all English I know reading forums (like this one, Westeros...) and wikias (as Coppermind, ASoIaF...) I want to practice my English reading books. I started to read some books in English but I withdrawaled these ones because I had the sense that I didn't understand it at all... And well, here my question: Which BS book can you recommend me to read in English? I thought in Alcatraz (I think that is a teenager saga, but I think that the style could be not very complex for me, but maybe the plot could be not enough interesting for me...) and The Rithmatist, these two are independent to Cosmere and short and does not published in my country already. But right now I'm reading Cosmere books, and Elantris are in my wishlist... Which one of these are better to start reading English? Which plot is better for you of these books? Do you recommend me another one? Thank you!!
  5. If a Herald truly die, this wanna mean that another one can be named as Herlad? Was Honor who "create" Heralds, right?
  6. I not agree at all... I think that is not necessary that all Heralds return to Braize diying in order to the Oathpact be restarted. When the Heralds break the oath, only 1 died and return to Braize.
  7. Mm ... you're right, I thought the goal of destroying any image of herself was because she does not want to relate to the worship of the Herald that people have, and no other reason.
  8. 1st at all, sorry for my bad english. I have a question, I read that BS said that ALL Heralds are mad. The madness of all the Heralds is evident except one, Shalash in my opinion. Do you see this as I do? What kind of madness do you think that Shalash has?
  9. Sorry 4 my bad english! I think that didn't say to Moash kill Jezrien in relation with Honorblade, before, the Jezrien's Honorblade was brandished by other people. I think that Odium has been using Moash as a instrument, Taravangian said that Odium cannot face Dalinar, because was obliged to fight due to champions duel. This, or Odium is preparing and training Moash to be his Champion...
  10. Mmm... interesting... but transfer a soul to another human? Would be similar as Voidbringer are doing with the parsh...
  11. Yep, I remember this, I think that don't mention Braize, but yes sais that Desolation does not appears again because the "spirit's" (?) Herald retain the Voidbringers (Portadores del Vacío in Spanish, I don't know the exactly translation).
  12. First at all, sorry 4 my bad english. You said here. He is the law, he can decide what is good and what is not. And I remember that Ym was a Surgebinder, and Nale went kill all Surgebinder in order to avoid the Desolation. Maybe Nale kills Ym for this reason, and no other.
  13. Then Dalinar caught he Thrill, not the Nergaoul? An Unmade can be caught in a gem, right? Yelig-nar was in a gemstone. Btw, anyone know what heppened with Yelig-nar post Amaram's death? Maybe is in the Gemstone that Kaladin found in the end of the battle? As coppermind sais "Yelig-nar does not appear to have a physical form", maybe need a Gemstone to be in Physical realm? Thanks!
  14. 1st at all sorry for my bad English. And sorry if anything was contrasted with interviews or discussed in the forum, I finished OB yesterday and I did not have time to read all the forums posts… Nah, I don't think so, I think that Thrill was Nergaoul, an Unmade, not the Sibling ( Nergaoul was known for driving forces into a battle rage, lending them great ferocity. Curiously, he did this to both sides of a conflict, Voidbringer and human. This seems common of the less self-aware spren. — From Hessi's Mythica, page 121 ) and I think that Dalinar caught Nergaoul, not the Thrill. But I still thinking that the 3rd Sibling has relation with Odium. But is pretty odd, yet Stormfather seemed that protect him… Other suggestions could be that the Unmades are the Sibling, but Stormfather said that he was dozzing (in Spain edition said “Dormita”, dozzing, I don’t know if BS used other term).
