  1. In RoW's ars arcanum at the end it talks about the surge of cohesion and that if it were unbound (which it was on ashen) that it could potentially cause nukes if you weren't careful. So not gonna lie I have a new theory for why ashen is on fire...
  2. Lift in era 1 instead of Vin. I love Vin but I think lift would be hilarious in the role
  3. Oathbringer, Dalinar is great
  4. Odium's forces are far from the height of their power. For starters, the average Singer has a maximum of 1 year of military training vs the lifetime soldiers that the humans are employing. Given enough time Odium will have a properly functioning military not just generals. The other huge factor is war form, the average singer is naturally stronger, so strong they can leap chasms that require a Bridge that takes a minimum of 25 people to carry it for humans. They also come pre armored, in other words, once training sets in and they are not massively out skilled the singers are going to kick some serious ass. While the Radiants are scaling and swearing higher ideals the Fused are not as weak as you make them out to be. For starters, they are not all on Roshar yet. At the end of RoW and in the middle we see new and much more powerful Fused and Regals show up. El is shown to be an incredibly dangerous enemy. While their science is more advanced Raboniel is able to take most of what they have and with the way Fabriels have been described it's not that hard to make them. The understanding of what bits need to be stuck where is the hard part, once you have that down all you need is some gemstones and some metal. Their constructions so far are fairly simple and rudimentary the most complex being the airship but even that isn't that complex when you get right down to it.
  5. Hey, I'm Isiilor. I have been reading Brandon's books for several years now. I don't usually stop by the forums but have super appreciated the coppermind and the WoBs. My prefered way to reference Brandon is Brando sando Son Son Vallano. It flows off the tongue so nicely even if it doesn't make much sense. My favorite book series is Stormlight because of scope and worldbuilding. However, my favorite none Hoid character (Hoid is disqualified because he cheats by being in everything) is Wayne. Reckoners is my favorite non-cosmere and Skyward/Starsight have the best covers (particularly the spines) Anyways all that said I figured with the amount of time I have commited to Brandon's books, and the amount of personal thought I have put into the Cosmere, and the amount of fun I have had reading WoBs, its about time I got involved with the fan community.
  6. So just a wild unresearched theory, but could Azure's sword, instead of taking investiture from the user simply steal it from anyone it contacts (them going grey similar to when Nightblood is used without excess investiture). I have literally (and I don't mean that figuratively) done no research on the idea beyond reading this thread on the subject so I don't know if its original or has already been proven false, but it came to mind as a neat idea.
