  1. Sorry, guys, working with limited time, which is even more limited after I accidentally fell asleep last night >> So my elim reads last cycle were Roo, Hyena, Tuatara, and Meerkat in roughly that order and while the order has changed…my reads maybe haven’t? Except every time someone Village reads Roo my eye twitches, and every time he posts I want to nudge him more village but then find something weird in there that confirms my initial read. Clearly not a viable wagon rn though. I’ll be around at EoD today (hopefully) with a bit more time and might consolidate against Hyena but for now I’ll promote Salmon Meerkat to an alternative wagon, since nobody is keen to actually vote him despite talking him around in circles. Don’t like the Scorp wagon, who was one of my stronger v!reads even before getting a better grip on him this cycle.
  2. Why is there always Smoking confusion in AGs >> Y’all: -Smoking is a Night-only order. -People can choose to have it off/on D1. -Any no-order is treated as default on, for self only. So if Swan is a Smoker, he purposely exempted yesterday.
  3. Alright, we’re about on track for D1 of an AG >> The most obvious vote manipulation is the cancellation of the vote on Meerkat, though I need to check the actual votes to see if Rioting is in play. I am also recommending Allomancers’ choice of surgical or terminal Seeking on Penguin. Would also say that I read Chameleon village with a good deal of confidence (at least by C1 standards) and Iguana as the same with a bit less.
  4. Was going to do more with this in RP but am probably too tired - upshot of my fancy commentary is that Elims get just as many crazy ideas but they typically have to pass group review, so unless you have a group supporting your insanity it’s okay to assign (very) moderate Village credit to legitimately insane ideas because at least early on, villagers are probably more okay vomiting them out into the void. Worst thing Elims can do D1 is draw too much attention—good or no, it tends to be someone who’s a little too loud who gets killed simply because they’ve said *something*. On a similar note, echoing the relatively common village read of Beagle for now, wondering if the assent there is concerning, also v!reading Heron for going against the grain there in seemingly oblivious fashion (wondering if a team would have told them to back off there). Vulture and Penguin I’m keeping an eye on, but both haven’t said enough to warrant a real vote (they also have nice RP and I don’t like killing RPers early that actually manage consistent output (RIP my schedule)). Meerkat is on my suspect list, but I’m discomfited by the number of people agreeing with me now. All the other accounts besides Mouse and Falcon are too much of a conglomerate in my head still. I think I’ll throw a vote on Charcoal Hyena for now.
  5. M looked up together in confusion at the newcomer. “As the wisdom of many Tyrians past has assuredly told us, blessed one, ‘smoking saves lives,’ and most of all, those not your own, but why advertise your capacities, or lack thereof, with so many subversives in our midst? It is most unbecoming,” he mused, turning to her. She took up the chorus: “And if his dusty quotations will not convince you otherwise, you cannot argue with data. Villages which lose large numbers of Smokers die more quickly at a statistically significant rate, accounting, of course, for abberations in the datasets such as one record of a village where Smokers survived but simply did not burn their metals, and…” She stopped her musings abruptly as they turned the corner towards the tavern. “Look, a stray! Was it Onidsen’s?” He pursed his lips, then gave a hesitant nod. She pressed on. “We can’t let it roam the streets, at least! Let’s get it something, the poor creature.”
  6. Great game everyone! A special congrats to Swan for going with analysis over login times, despite that being the final nail in my team's coffin. I'd like to list off things that I could have done better, but honestly this was just a solid show from the village. My team was lots of fun to play with, and Toucan deserves some extra credit for sticking through until the end there. And of course, I'm looking forward to another year of SE with y'all. Thanks for helping making this community the place it is.
  7. I was saved the first time by my Pewter. So the elims have 2 mistborn/lurchers, or some villager really doesn't like the Coinshot. I do have to say, it feels pretty obvious to me that the elims would protect me the last two nights, assuming they were able. I was the obvious Coinshot target and the lack of my flip would continue to set exe discussion back. Assuming the Coinshot is village of course. Nothing has really changed on my front, so Flamingo.
  8. Agolac frowned as the crowd dispersed. Not dying was generally good, but not dying only because someone else was obviously evil didn't necessarily bode well for his future. Still, the mists were coming out and he was pretty sure they were bad business. So Agolac set off for the marketplace, so once he forgot his destination he would end up at home.
  9. I don't actually know how I survived. I mean, someone had to have Lurched me, but I'm a Thug, and my life got burned already. Kinda wish whoever it was had just let me die. I'm not going to lie, having everyone on my back for this long (and two kill attempts by someone who pretty much has to be a villager) is kinda killing my motivation for this game, especially since it's taking time that could be spent with my family. I'll maybe do a couple more ISOs this cycle, but I'll help get myself out of the way so you can figure things out without me. Flamingo. Sorry to disappoint, but my feathers are currently black, and will probably have reddish-brown stains by sometime tomorrow.
  10. What, exactly, does this mean? Obviously I have not gotten any village cred from my unwillingness to claim. I'm going to switch from Penguin to Chameleon. I find both Lion and Cham suspicious, and would be fine with either exe, but I'd like them both on the table.
