  1. This is rare for me but, whoa!
  2. See, this is what I mean!  The site won't even respond to me!

  3. Hmm ... okay, sorry ... I can't do it.  Just what do you want from me?

  4. Um ... what about representing individual Surges in each their full disclosure on the pages of each their Surgebinders/Knights Radiant? (Curse me if I'm way too late to this discussion; I'm just not here much and am reading this now.)
  5. Chaos, can I just say that I think we now know enough about several individual Surges to begin categorizing them individually? (Just my opinion, concurring with my posted predecessor; I certainly won't take any action without admin approval.)
  6. Referring to the Wayne page, just how does the link indicate that Wayne has PTSD?
  7. Okay, I have to admit that I haven't read through all of this, but I did join Discord and hope we have more to discuss there, relative to here, soon.
  8. With regard to your number one, I totally agree with you, GRRMeh. With regard to your number two, I can't comment because I don't do audible. Happy reading, nonetheless!
  9. Okay, I've now committed myself, but I won't reveal spoiler information!

  10. Can I just say that I'm going to spend most of my time here within 17th on the Coppermind; that's just who I am; I love delving into information and delivering it where it's relevant. It's not that I'm anti-social, but I'm really interested in providing readers with the best of references relevant to Brandon's novels that I might provide. I admit that I'm committed to Stormlight above all else, despite however much I love the continuing Mistborn saga. So, please allow me some leeway! Thank you! I'm a dedicated editor and I always want to represent the truth.
  11. @Joe ST, I'm really new here so I don't know just what you're talking about re: necrobumping and I've no idea who KChan is, but s/he seemed to be involved in the topic to which I was referring. I apologize if my commentary was out of date; I didn't look at that; I was interested in the subject matter.
  12. I'll do my best. It's a learning curve after all, right?
  13. I'm actually a somewhat reluctant member ... for various reasons. But, I'm here now and want to make an impact. I'm a big time editor and will have far more a presence on the Coppermind in the long run than I'll have on-site. (I'll admit right now that I'm much more a lurker than a contributor.) Still, I do want to know what's going on with all of you, but I'll not be engaging with all of you much of the time. Please don't take this as an affront; I'm just kind-of inept at interpersonal communication much of the time. I'm hopeful you'll indulge me. Thank you.
  14. I'd like to help, because I'm extremely interested in representing fan art on 17th. @KChan, I'm relatively new here, but I'm also the admin at http://stormlightarchive.wikia.com/wiki/Stormlight_Archive_Wiki. Fyi, it has been my goal to continue TSA.com specifically because I want the artwork of fans of Brandon's work to have representation relative to each his works. I hope all who read this can understand this, whether you're an artist of any endeavor or not. I'd really like to embellish 17th with with the artwork for characters, places, instances, etc. that are images created by Michael Whelan, Isaac Stewart, Dan dos Santos, Howard Lyon , and fan art, etc. for The Stormlight Archive and beyond. Please know that I've been in touch with [[User:Botanica]] with regard to utilizing her images on TSA wiki; she, in turn, asked of me whether she could utilize the TSA wiki to develop the Chinese wiki of the same. Still, this happened a few years ago. Nevertheless, we both agreed that we needed to work together to create more globally accessible "Brandonsites". I remain hopeful that Botanica will allow me to upload some of her original imagery to 17th, but I will confirm with her in effort to do so.
  15. Argent, As I said previously, I'm new here. I'm not yet completely familiar with the site. I have a skill set that I'm very much interested in employing on-site, however. Mostly, I'll be supplying the Coppermind with information. I hope you'll welcome me nonetheless. Thanks. Synth
  16. Um, hello KChan! I'm here because I was invited and I want to make an impact. I'm all about editing, so I'm going to have far more an impression in the Coppermind than I'll ever have here on 17th. (That's just me; it's my nature; I'm kind of a solitary person, but I like contributing to causes in which I believe!) Please contact me and let me know just how I can help. Thanks.
  17. I'm a recruit from another fan site - which I won't abandon - but neither will I promote it over the best interests of 17th.  I believe we all have our reasons for committing ourselves to that which each of us do and all of we readers are committed to the mind-blowing writing of Brandon Sanderson.  I'm going to be contributing to the Coppermind whenever I can (I know I've stated a bit about this already), and I look forward to accurately recording everything that I can from every novel in TSA!  That said, I have to say that I'm far more familiar with TSA than I am with Elantris, etc. (despite that I've read it 3 times); Mistborn, etc. (despite that I've read both eras 2 times), and Warbreaker (which I've read twice).  That said, I've also read Secret History, Arcanum Unbouned,  Brandon's non-Cosmere novels, but I've not read his Alcatraz series. Whew!  Okay ... I really want to be able to contribute as much as I can to the Coppermind.

  18. I'm with you on this, Chaos, which is why I'm still probing WoR. I just found something tonight that I didn't remember from my first two reads! It has to do with Navani, Dalinar, and Shallan and late chapters within the novel. 'Raises hands into the air and breathes a heavy sigh.' Such is my life; the books are far more engaging.
  19. Can I just say, I'm not a fan of graphic novels. I bought the paperback of the first issue of White Sand, after I didn't like what I'd read in AU, despite that I own a copy of the WS prose ... which is so much better!
  20. Can I just say that I'm a huge fan of the artwork of Botanica and have included a lot of her artwork - with her approval - on https://stormlightarchive.wikia.com/ (Sorry if I'm referencing another site I might otherwise not do so!) Members, this woman's characterizations of so many of Brandon's characters are amazing! She is so talented! You can find her tumblr account here: https://botanicaxu.tumblr.com/!
  21. Because I'm far more a scholar than I am a theorist. I want to know the truth. I am so excited for the WoB addition to the site!
