  1. This is the first time I've been VAGUELY HAPPY about clothing, thanks! I'm glad a steward of gondor approves
  2. I think Dalinar's face beside the gauntness is a good rep for how harsh I imagine him being, especially with his general description being 'ugly' although that's in Alethi estimation. If I'm being honest, I didn't look too hard for an Adolin description but considering he's only twentyish? 23? I went for youthful lanky rather than bulky. Still probably too thin though. Thanks! You're sweet and thats a neat way of looking at it! I'm all for artistic critique though, it's alright. But you're kind, I'm glad you liked it! I spent about two days on it? It's a good relaxer, dipping my toe properly into colouring too, haven't had too much luck with colours until this. Thanks very much!
  3. oh my, so quite a few of my friends have been saying!! But dw dw I'll give me half hearted efforts to the cause.
  4. Yeah Adolin didn't turn out great and u right, I was trying to go for harsher features for Daliner but I overstepped into gaunt which isn't narrative friendly for a nobleman at all
  5. Cheers! The Way of Kings was actually great, I super enjoyed it!
  6. Well hey there! Having gotten into this whole stormlight thing I thought I'd need a place to feed the interest and somewhere to put my inevitable fanart of Dalinar, hope everyone's good!
  7. Needed a place to put these as I go
  8. From the album: In this house we respect Dalinar Kholin

yo Navani doesn't have to 'look thirty' to be beautiful and elegant, she can do that all by her 50 yo' self anyway I love imagining them as a couple just bein’ slobs around each other, Navani rarely covering her safehand, Dalinar lazing in bed sometimes, good rust.

“What is a man’s life worth?” Dalinar asked softly.“The slavemasters say one is worth about two emerald broams,” Kaladin said, frowning.“And what do you say?”“A life is priceless,” he said immediately, quoting his father.Dalinar smiled, wrinkle lines extending from the corners of his eyes.“Coincidentally, that is the exact value of a Shardblade. So today, you and your men sacrificed to buy me twenty-six hundred priceless lives. And all I had to repay you with was a single priceless sword. I call that a bargain.”“You really think it was a good trade, don’t you?” Kaladin said, amazed.Dalinar smiled in a way that seemed strikingly paternal. I got emotions and nowhere to put um
