I classify this similar to the EVENT that happened at the end of The Great Hunt with Rand fighting Ishameal in the sky. That was more of a wheel controlled event, similar to this. Additionally, there is also the voice that Rand heard talking to him at the same time so it could have also been the creator directly influencing events.
