  1. @Hemalurgic_Headshot Thanks for the heads up!
  2. I already own Name of the Wind. I read about 20 pages and stopped. I'm not exactly sure why, but I plan to go back to it.
  3. I keep putting Pratchett off. I should probably stop doing that.
  4. Just bought the first book to check it out.
  5. Sorry if that bio was terrible. Didn't think anyone would care about me specifically, so I didn't bother to say a lot about myself. I've heard of lorian legacies, but I haven't read it. I tend to skip a lot of YA titles. I'll definitely give I Am Number Four a shot now! And my WattPad name is the same as it is here (jjwilbourne).
  6. Hi All! I'm Jim. I've seen this forum a hundred times, but only just decided to join. Like all of you (I'm assuming), I love Sanderson's work. I'm especially into Mistborn and The Stormlight Archive. I also write my own novels. I'm currently unpublished (outside of WattPad), but I hope to soon publish some of my epic fantasy. I'm very much influenced by Brandon Sanderson, Robert Jordan, GRRM, and Steven Erikson. I have a question though! I would love to find more books with a similar tone/feel as The Stormlight Archive. I love excellent world building, good character development, and a sense of grand scale. I'm looking for lesser known authors that have perhaps released books/series in the past 5-10 years that I may have missed. I wouldn't mind stories that are a bit darker, but not crazy dark. If you could comment below with stories that you love that you think I'd love (being that I'm a big Mistborn and Stormlight fan), I'd really appreciate it! Help feed my epic fantasy addiction!
  7. I'm so glad I looked at this thread. I would have never known how to rearrange my equipment and items. 130 hours in, and I just find this out.
