  1. Doesnt ash go around destroying her likeness but not the others?
  2. Okay, so why aren't the Heralds recognized in world?
  3. Here's my question, the fused take on living people(singers bodies) what if heralds take on human bodies? Do the bodies the fused take age? Do they age at a normal rate and whatnot? We really dont fully understand how things work. Moash Is going to go for Roshone, but will it be more than typical revenge?
  4. This is partly why I think Roshone is Kalak. Moash kills Heralds. Moash hates Roshone. Kaladin hates Roshone. This is the next separating point between Kaladin and Moash building up to a final fight. Kaladin will overcome hatred/Moash will give in further to Odium.
  5. I figured it was a power potential kind of thing, in Mistborn didn't the power erode over time(more mistings/less Mistborn, but also weaker). I assumed she has a higher ceiling of strength with her bond like Elend.
  6. Do we know what roshone was doing before gavilars death? We dont know how relevant he was at that point. His influencing elhokar was afterwards.
  7. Why wouldn't they age? People dont even recognize them, how do we know what they look like.
  8. Doesnt exhibit paranoia? Why did moash's grandparents die? They were his rivals. Why did he go after Lirin? He was the number 2 citizen in hearthstone and stood up to him. Every choice he makes has a negative outcome. Meddling in kholinar, messing with lirin, whitespine hunt, taking his sons wife( she took the power). He stands out as someone going through turmoil/torture. We dont know enough about the heralds in desolation to say one way or the other how they will appear.
  9. I personally think Kalak is Roshone.
  10. Why is yelig-nar in a sphere? Does this make it easier for Odium to control him? Was he just captured in such a way where he cant roam free now?
  11. I feel like Hoid collects the strongest power of each world for himself, but grabs others to distribute as he sees fit.
  12. Let's not forget: Kaladin let Elhokar die, Kaladin knew about the assassination attempt on him earlier, Moash is still alive and now some people know about him. Jasnah is intelligent and will probably figure things out and look into(be suspicious) of Kaladin. Maybe we'll get more of Kaladin's backstory as part of her "background check" of him. I think this relationship might happen but it wont be simple.
  13. 2 separate thoughts here: Is there any correlation to where the Heralds are and where the unmade operate? I mean we know there were 3 in Kholinar and at least 1 herald was there. I wonder if an unmade was influencing the men Jasnah killed in Kharbranth and we know a herald(s) was there as well. This desolation was different than previous ones in that 9 Heralds didn't go to Damnation. But what are people thinking as far as the torture the Heralds went through? Part of me wonders if they still stayed on Roshar but were forced to live through average people's lives where they suffered from the abuses of man itself not Odium. And perhaps they lived from the abuser's POV which broke them. I.e. if Kaladin was a herald, he lived the life of Sadeas/Amaram/Lamaril. As cognitive shadows I'm curious what's possible for them. I don't know, I feel like I haven't heard too many theories besides just "well Odium tortured them".
  14. My guesses Kaladin- highly likely lives through 1st half, may die near end of second half. Shallan- I dont think she will necessarily die, but I think her importance will go down in the 2nd half, maybe be more of the head of the scholars or something and learning about ghostbloods. Dalinar- depending on the time skip he may be pretty old in the 2nd half and therefore likely to die/ascend even by book 5. Szeth- May die in the 1st half, lift is about the only main character who cares about him Lift- young with a book in the 2nd half, I think she'll be one to at least go to book 10 Bridge 4- Teft probably dies in the 1st half. Lopen probably lives for a while(hes the main herdazian in the story and there seems to be a lot to be learned about them) also his claim to be a former king would be interesting Rock- same as lopen but because hes a horneater Taravangian- dies in book 5 screwing over Odium Taln- probably doesn't get his head straight in the 1st arc, lives til the 2nd
  15. Yeah, I think Taravangian is on too obvious of a bad guy path to be this straight-forwardly evil. I think as things continue to go poorly and he assists Odium(saving Kharbranth), he's going to break leading to him becoming another of the Bondsmiths. Adolin on the other hand, he's got minimal bad deeds on his resume so far, but he has killed in cold blood and hid it(at considerable stress). Who knows how he'll handle finding out the truth about his mother and we know that Unmade influenced Dalinar to almost kill Gavilar. What if Adolin takes a shot at Renarin? Perhaps jealousy over a brother who is far surpassing him and he starts to be treated the way Renarin was all those years growing up. I'm curious where the Ghostbloods end up in all of this. Perhaps Odium is defeated in the first 5, someone new takes up his shard, and the new shardholder is even worse/stronger.
