  1. 'The feast I must drink clings to their faces' refers to Kaladin pulling all of the Stormlight out of the gems they had woven in their beards.
  2. I like this theory a lot. I don't think Brandon would count an avatar being present as there being a Shard on the planet so that WOB doesn't poke any holes at this point. Nice work.

Cool, thank you for the clarification. I remember seeing that now. Although I can nitpick and say Brandon never said 'The spike in his eye'

Is it confirmed that the eye spike is the reason he was able to 'use' a new body? I had thought he was full of spikes in order to make the Bands originally and that the eye spike was similar to the one Inquisitors had granting him the same allomantic/feruchemical ability it granted them. Kelsier basically spikes himself all the way to becoming a Fullborn for the most part is how I had interpreted it.
  5. Here is a later WOB that states that Alloy is after SL 5, so this is maybe not quite as dead in the water as I thought. Just very unlikely!
  6. Lift plus F-Steel - small burst of speed and no friction could have her flying around everywhere nearly untouchable. Also stealing people's food right out of their hands without them seeing anything... If Kaladin flew into a highstorm with F-Iron and dumped all of his weight, could he just ride the wind the whole way without using his stormlight?
  7. So I've had this idea kicking around in my head, and I haven't seen anything in the forums around here that suggested the same(either that or my searching ability is lacking). So here it is: Could Cultivation be the 'red mist' that Sazed shows to Wax and the one infiltrating Scadrial under the guise of Trell? For the basis of this I am assuming that Odium is defeated and Rayse killed at the conclusion of Stormlight 5. Rather then Dalinar uniting Honor and Odium, Cultivation picks up the shard to create an intent that is hatefully destructive in its quest to grow things. Scadrial is seemingly frozen - I believe Harmony mentions how little progress has been made because he made the Elendel Basin too perfect. The planet is not being 'cultivated'. Cultivation in combination with the Odium Shard would be compelled by intent to change this. Destroy what is currently there, then cultivate it as she sees fit without the influence of Harmony. Cultivation has been playing the long game to take out Odium/Rayse. Perhaps the death of Tanavast caused Cultivation's vessel to stray off the path of benevolence and she decides to remake the Cosmere as she sees fit. This is highly unlikely, and I'm sure it has a ton of holes or even a WoB that completely debunks it, but Autonomy or Odium just seem too obvious a choice to be Trell/Big Bad. A Cultivation/Odium pairing would be interesting to say the least. Thanks for reading!
  8. Hello all, longtime lurker/first time poster. Love coming here to read about the crazy theories and see the massive amount of work that are put into them. Kudos to you all. The Arcanum getting a new post of WoB's is a highlight of my day. I don't and won't post much, but if you post something it's likely I'll read it :-) Favorite Cosmere Book: Changes a lot but I always come back to Words of Radiance. Favorite Character: Vasher. I need more Vasher. Thanks for having me!
