  1. I believe that Roshar would win the war. Based on the simple fact that they have the singers. With hundreds of powerful forms to draw from. They could probably adapt their soldiers to face whatever the other 3 worlds throw at them. Even with Scadrial's airships using stormform the Parshmen could turn those weapons against there own forces. That'[s just one form of power who knows what the others can do to enemies. Hundreds of forms plus the shards could probably beat what anyone throws at them. Granted I don't thinlk this would be an easy fight. But I suspect that turning stormlight against their enemies would probably beat Sel,Nathalis and Scadrial. WIth horrible losses sure but a victory nonetheless. Not to mention the Alethi have the Thrill to aid them. Comapred to the other races. Hence my argument for Roshar's eventually victory over the rest.
  2. Granted but as a result the infinite lemon cakes take up all the space around you so you are trapped by them forever. I wish for the gift of being able to have the ability to bond spren and access all of the forms available to the parshmen of Roshar.
  3. I don't think Adonalsium was useless. Less powerful over time due too different intents maybe but not useless. Harmony can still do things just not directly. He can't directly use the power of Ruin or preservation without making one stronger but he has been known too use people too do what he cannot. He mentions in I believe it's shadows of self but I could be wrong that when Wax asks Harmony why he didn't help people he responded with he did he sent Wax too do what he couldn't. Harmony can still make things happen just not directly. He also mentions again to Wax in Shadows of Self that he's not the only person he uses too do his will. Which again implies that Harmony can still cause things too happen just not directly. He can't change Scadrial but he can influence the people who live there too change it in the ways he wants. Again shown in his answer too Wax and his mention in Shadows of Self that they should have had the radio by now. As well as the confusion shown by Wax as too what the radio is. The above examples are the evidence too support my theory that Adonalsium was not useless, just unable too directly interfere in the Cosmere. Since every shard has an opposite even if it's not perfect adonalsium might have been unable too directly interfere in the cosmere in the same way Harmony can't. I suspect some people wanted too destroy Adonalsium because he couldn't directly change the world and some people might have wanted too be able too so with power like that. There's my theory hope it helps.
  4. He mentions in the book how authors can fool you and distract you which is part of it.He also talks about how authors can make you feel things. How they can make you frustrated, sad, happy ect. Or make you turn the book sideways and upside down too read it. I think the joke was partially too make you believe that whatever you found wasn't it. Which in and of itself was enlightening. It brought you the wisdom that Alcatraz can make you do what he wants. I think that's it that he can make you do what he wants when your reading. That I believe is hte secret too make you do what he wants.
  5. The ones I have found are as such: the bullet that killed your archenemy a reference too Steelheart. Wasing not of wasing is a Mistborn reference. A velicoraptor eating the c section and claiming it's unrealistic, a Jurassic park reference. The insanely short summary of the Lord of the Rings. The Princess Bride reference in book four. I believe Mink gives this but I could be wrong. The quote is: Never get involved in a land war in Asia. The chapter numbers in book four.
  6. I don't think Nightblood is overpowered so much as nobody besides Vasher and Shashara have tried too make such a weapon. it seems really powerful compared too a regular weapon but anybody with enough Breath could replicate what Vasher did with any weapon. I think Nightblood would be a lot less powerful if there were many weapons like him in other peoples hands. Nightblood only seems overpowered because there's nothing like him. Kind of like cannons in the middle ages. They seemed like a super powerful weapon because only a few countries had them. But once everybody made them they became a lot less powerful and decisive in battles. The same thing would probably happen with Nightblood.
  7. My favorite magic system is Surgebinding due too the fact that that the character has morals they have too hold too to obtain there power. For the most part anyway, if you don't count honorblades and hemalurgy. Not sure why I like that so much about surgebinding but I do. My favorite character would have too be Vasher. Il ike how he's portrayed as an anti hero in Warbreaker. a person who did terrible things earlier in his life and is trying too prevent anybody else from making his same mistake. Meaning Nightblood, i also like how he doesn't get along with people and it's shown without making him appear weak or foolish. Far too much fantasy put people who can't get along well as weak. I just like how Vasher still has strengths despite not liking people.
  8. I think it's feasible too believe the Unmade are the gods mentioned by Eshonai. Due too the 4th and 5th lines in the epigraph of chapter 25 of WoR. Which are: Though crafted of gods it was by Unmade hand. it implies pretty heavily that the Unmade are the gods once worshipped by the Parshendi. There gods are also mentioned when the epigraphs talk about nightform, decayform and smokeform, which have been theorized before of being some of the old forms. I also think it's true because the humans view the Heralds as gods and they have the same powers as the Radiants. Why can't the Parshendi view the Unmade in a similar light assuming they have the same powers? it certainly keeps the symmetry talked about by Jasnah and mentioned in Vorinism. In short I think it's reasonable too believe the Parshendi view the Unmade as gods just like humans view the Heralds as gods.
  9. Just putting this up so everyone knows I exist.
