Are there any going theories on what the black dust was that Lift left behind? (at the very end of the entry) Is it just Wyndle's crumbles being briefly visible in the physical realm?

I read it on kindle PC this morning. It was fine with the use of the zoom feature that gives you a panel-by-panel view. I'm not a huge comic reader, but it worked well enough to pick out all the details and the text was nicely legible.
