  1. People think the ending to Calamity is bad? I loved the ending to Calamity. Maybe a little rushed, but still very enjoyable. I was satisfied with it. Yes, it left some things open, but that's not a bad thing. It just means there's things for the sequel to explore. And this is only the world that I'm talking about. the characters' arcs all end nicely. I liked The Reckoners more than some of Sanderson's Cosmere works, so it's definitely worth checking out.
  2. I want a happy life so I'll take the first option. Would you rather be able to use Forgery or Soulcasting?
  3. This is just something I was wondering. No one knows what the Beyond is like, not even Harmony. I feel like it has more importance to it than just being an afterlife. Maybe someone in the Beyond will eventually need to affect something in the physical realm? What do you guys think?
  4. I think it would be cool to see a combination of soulcasting and stamps. I wonder how much an expert Forger could change if they could soulcast.
  5. Short version: The Cosmere is the universe where most of Sanderson's novels take place. EDIT: I've been informed my post has some spoilers to it. To my knowledge, the only place with this information clearly given to far is Misborn: Secret History. So if you plan on reading that, I would do that first. I highly recommend the Mistborn books. They are what got me into the Cosmere. Here's a spoiler tag. While it is cool to find connections in the cosmere, you can enjoy seperate series without worrying about the cosmere too much. However, if you read Warbreaker, some things in WoR will be a lot cooler. I recommend reading the Mistborn books after that.
  6. I'm convinced we've all been trolled. GG you got us.
  7. There's your problem. You are acting like everyone else's opinion is wrong. Sanderson's other series have tons of fans, and you are basically saying that Sanderson should only work on what you want, and anyone who isn't happy with that is "butt hurt."
  8. I actually think that adding your own swear words helps with culture building in a novel. Maybe that's just me, but I feel like it helps engage me in the world more.
  9. When you have a dream that crosses The Emperor's Soul, Warbreaker, and Mistborn in a very weird way.
  10. Not because of spoilers. I felt like I could handle the wait for Oathbringer. Then I read the excerpts that have been revealed so far online. Now I don't think I can wait for 2017. Can anyone else sympathize with this?
  11. For me it would be The Way of Kings. It's not just my favorite Sanderson novel, but my favorite novel in general.
