Kandra can't use Feruchemy. Except when they can.

I was given to understand that the medallions can grant feruchemy to any wearer. That was what made them so dangerously strong. -
yes hello and all that BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY

Beards "eating" things isn't exactly as it sounds; beards use food as their focus item, similar to how allomancers burn steel. Beards grow in Investiture with each consumed item, until finally they grow powerful enough to leave the host and become the Almighty Beardspren, hunter of bacon and craft beer. I hear they migrate to Portland and form Nahel bonds with hipsters. -

Oh boy oh boy I'm so excited to tell you about this. So, you know the Megaman series, right? Super fighting robot, Megaman? There's a band I adore called the Protomen, and their music is a dystopian rock opera version of the games. They're entirely story-based, in-character songs from the perspectives of Dr Light, Megaman, and others from the universe. And they will rock your face off! Anywho, their music is split up into Acts, one per album, alongside a cover album of tracks from the 70s-80s that fit their aesthetic and a Queen tribute album which is at times completely indistinguishable from the original Freddie Mercury vocals. If you enjoy rock and roll, you owe it to yourself to listen to them. The words "I will search the night" originate from a deliciously sexy 80s synth piece from The Makeup and Vanity Set, a sort of sibling band that shares a few members with the band. And my signature is sourced from their latest EP for the third and final Act of their story– and it would be so incredibly in keeping with the story to use it for that purpose! Please do! They're a really good band, with powerful messages about hope in the face of unfathomable adversity and facing unbeatable odds. I'm actually going to a show of theirs next week! -

I mean, all a spike would do is give me extra magic powers and a direct hotline to Harmony as well as probably corrupt my sDNA since someone almost assuredly died to make it so what's the big deal? -
I'm Lou, I read books and don't afraid of anything So Scadrial's supposed to have a couple different trilogies with different time periods, right? With progressing technology levels alongside a more seasoned scientific approach to Allomancy and the like. Have we spent much time considering what those later tech levels are going to be like? Because I was just struck by inspiration. What if in the future, Lurchers and Coinshots became even more mobile? With technology as simple as springs and rollerskates, their ability to move along metal anchors would increase to absurd speeds. Like parkour, but with even MORE flagrant disregard for gravity! In the Wax and Wayne side-series, we've seen Wax use bullets as anchors mid-jump to change his trajectory. An Ironpuller could literally have a hookshot- all it has to retract is the weight of the rope, because they'd be pulling themselves. I'm sure you've seen those videos of magnetic goo– a Steelpusher could use that as an anchor on almost any surface without it slipping, and as Vin demonstrated back in the first trilogy you can use something as small as an earring as an anchor if you flare hard enough. Windrunners can suck it, Allomancers rule.
