Next up! Day 9: Scars - Kelsier - i have two versions here. one that included a teeny bit of color over his scars, and one that was pure black and white Day 10: Ambush - a mysterious mistborn (probably Kelsier) with a mysterious plan (probably assassination) Day 11: Alien - Obligatory not cosmere, but i love Doomslug so i had to (side note: I actually did the lines digitally, and then printed it off to color (sadly, I lost track of the digital version, so this is what I have)

Day 5: Abandoned - A picture of little Vin, abandoned in an alleyway (note: i did a couple digital ones because I only had so many pages in my sketchbook) Day 6: Tenebrous - KANDRA!!!!(because kandra are so cool) Day 7: Spiked - A steel Inquisitor Day 8: Honor - Dalinar, in shardplate (I'm very proud of this, also shardplate is frustrating to draw but also very rewarding)

After seeing FelCandy's thread about their Inktober drawings ( https://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/74435-fels-sketchbook-spoilers/?page=4#comment-931178 ) I decided to make my own, though probably not as amazing. 31 days full of drawing. . . I figured I ought to commemorate it somehow. I hope you guys enjoy them all! Day One: Shadow - Kelsier staring out into the sky, as ash falls Day Two: Unforeseeable - Kaladin, his whole character arc was unforeseeable to me through my first read-through Day Three: Embarrassing - [obligatory not Cosmere, but I decided doing all Sanderson added an interesting variety] it's a young Alcatraz, embarrassed for breaking something. . . . Inktober Day 4: Portal - The Well of Ascension (Not quite how I wanted it, but it was at least fun to draw) I don't have time to post everything now, but I'll update this whenever I get the chance
  4. So, after long time without reading a Sanderson book (sad), i finally got the chance to reread Mistborn. I always forget how beautiful, descriptive, and how well written Brandon's books are as a whole. I appreciate the detail given for each character - it makes them easier to imagine and draw. His books have always been a huge well of inspiration. And so, to draw this wonderful character again - I present Vin, jumping through the mists wearing her mistcloak and wielding a glass dagger.
  5. Amazing!! This looks sooooo good!
  6. Carolas eyes widened, "that sounds extremely dangerous." She takes a small step back, and breathes in a sliver of stormlight, "What can we do to stop it?"

  14. 1. My sister gave me Mistborn, I loved it (stayed up way late multiple times), then I found Alcatraz, and read that just because he also wrote it, and then my mom found out about the 5th book of mistborn release, and we went there, and I found out about/got copies of Steelheart and Way of Kings, and it kind of happened from there. 2. He has amazing, relatable characters, extremely unique worlds and creatures, and his stories are just so richrich and fulfilling. Plus, it is super fun to theorize about things. 3. I love Mistborn because it got me started, and Steelheart because it is so original, but so far I have to go with the Stormlight Archive series for now as my favorite. 4. 9.5 I storming love his works, but I do still read and enjoy other books/things. 5. 10. So many people theorize, reread, and do in depth research for things as simple as fanart, memes, and roleplay, to as big as huge theories and fan art and it is crazy. 6. Just saying, not only is Brandon a great author, but he is also a great person 7. Brandon, by way of his books as well as a few conversations with him and Isaac Stewart, inspired me to learn to draw, and learn it well. His writing skills really made me want to improve writing and Writing Excuses + his writing class has really helped. Brandon's characters have inspired me to be strong in hard times. . . Amongst many other things.
