Okay update from Peter's twitter:
Well, I guess I have some more time to decide whether or not to spend my $100 on Elantris.

All this Breath/Metal talk has made me wonder whether it would kill a Returned to burn Aluminium...

All the good theories have already been theorized.

I was rereading Words of Radiance recently, and I noticed something interesting: early in the book, Bridge Four was hanging around and doing Bridge Four stuff, but an ardent had started drawing them. This seemed odd to Kaladin. The sketch of Bridge Four tattoos, signed Nazh, said that he spent all day following Bridgemen around. In that timeline, Nazh had to have sketched it roughly between when they get the tattoos, and when they march off to fight the Parshendi. My theory is that the ardent was secretly Nazh. My evidence is a bit sparse, but it just seems to fit, to me at least. First of all, that one ardent was the only person to draw Bridge Four, save Shallan, and we know she isn't Nazh. Adding to that, drawing Bridge Four, in general, instead of just individually just seems like an odd thing to do, but what better way to find their tattoos? Secondly, an ardent is a good disguise for gathering information and such, and Nazh wouldn't be the first worldhopper to do this, as evidenced by Zahel/Vasher. Finally, having to "spend hours watching bridgemen", as the sketch says, instead of just pretending to be an ardent and drawing them, I would imagine is just Nazh complaining, since Nazh seems fairly smart, and the ardent thing works far better for drawing a precise tattoo pattern. Thoughts? Have I missed anything?
Sincerely,
Evil Reptile

Granted. From now on, water is the only solid thing to you. Everything else is like water.
(Water is ground to you, and ground is water. You swim through land now.)
I wish I was a Rithmatist.
Granted, but your hands spasm eternally, forcing you to spend an entire day to make a single chalkling.
I wish that Stones Unhallowed would come out sooner.

My signature picture is 500x99 pixels. Would I be allowed to add any writing in addition to my current signature?

Hi there, and welcome to the forums! My view on this is that while Marsh did not need to see in the dark, I believe it is stated in the final empire that inquisitors see by using steel-lines. He is looking at a sheet of metal, unless I have the situation wrong, with words inscribed in it. That seems to me that it would be very hard to read, no matter how well you could interpret them, so he flared his fun to increase his senses, and be able to get a better grasp of what his steel-lines said.
This also makes sense because Inquisitors, as Hemalurgic creations, are of Ruin, who cannot read and change metal, which sort of makes their metal-blindness an extension of Ruin's.

Ah, right, yeah, I do remember reading that now. I just didn't consider it super suspicious as I hadn't looked up that Jasnah's order had Transportation.
Yeah, at that point, you shouldn't know that Jasnah is an Elsecaller unless you've looked up a bunch of stuff which you shouldn't have. Also, someone being stabbed in the heart straight through tends to make me not believe that that person can come back, unless I'm reading something in the Malazan series. We also had no indicator that stormlight can heal an almost immediately lethal wound. Wehad indictions that it could heal minor wound, as well as gradually heal Kaladin of a slow-moving death, and heal him of many things that would kill him if stacked up in the Highstorm, but that's all, really.

When Damnation, but that woman is beautiful.
When you didn't realize that "Damnation" was Sanderson-exclusive.

You didn't ask a question. . .
I will just say that my favorite song from classical music is Prelude Op. 28/15 in D Flat Ma (look it up)
What is your favorite alternative rock song?
The Fall, by Imagine Dragons.
What's your favourite Norse God?

I know little of Yolen, but from what I know it is not just nothing but stone all over. Far from it.
Perhaps the Desolations made things desolate.

I love Bionicles! I've got so many of them lying around. I don't actually have any of the original Toa, but I have several of the Toa Hordika, a couple Toa Metru, two Bohrok Tahnok, and a Bohrok Tahnok-kal. I've also got two Rahkshi. Personally, I reeeeeally like the Bohrok . My favourite mask is either Kraahnak or Crast.

If I'm remembering correctly, Frost is the dragon that Hoid writes to. Not exactly seeing, but he does write a response....so I can see Brandon counting it as the same.
Well, since Hoid wrote a letter to Frost, and as far as we know, there's even less evidence for worldhopper mail service than that for us having seen Frost, I think we may have actually seen him. Presumably on Roshar, since Hoid's letter was in The Stormlight Archive, Yolen may well be Roshar. So, to start off, Frost said that he took an oath of non-interference, so we have to find somebody who doesn't interfere in Voidbringer-related stuff.

Alright, since the instructions for my origami models would take up eight gallery posts, at a suggestion by someone who will remain nameless for his (or her) own protection, I've decided to make a topic for it instead. Please note that all of the spoiler tags will contain about eight attachments. As I make new instructions, I'll edit them into this post.

Well, of the top of my head, I can think of one (Non-human, mind you) female Big Bad. Sister Reverence from the Malazan Book of the Fallen, despite only being in book ten, pretty much ranks among Big Bads due to multiple end-of-humanity-related offences. Mab, from the Dresden Files is a sort-of villain. A bunch of the Taken, as well as the Lady (sort of) from the Black Company series are female.
EDIT: Oh, and Cersei Lannister, but that might just be me.

Hunn Raal, from Forge of Darkness. If you've read the book, you know why. I'm getting angry just thinking about him.

You just blew my mind. That means that all the heralds running around and dying outside castle walls may have also been at Gavilar's assassination, which means they probably knew the significance of something, which is probably the Parshendi doing anything, yet they didn't tell anyone until they went crazy, but by then couldn't get anything across.
