  1. At the end of TOTES, it's stated that they sold the Crow's Song and bought a new ship, which was names The Two Cups or something like that.
  2. Autonomy is like Bertie-Bott's Every Flavoured Beans. Ambition is like... Cinnamon, a la Cinnamon Hearts. Sounds like it could be great, but gets real overpowering and doesn't work out in the end. A little bit goes a long way, as well.
  3. An opportunity was missed with WTCC! I was surprised nobody said "You cannot have our pain!" after the second one...
  4. I'm pretty sure that Rosharan humans are generally a lot taller than cosmere average humans, due to the lower gravity and higher oxygen content of the planet. The 7' tall is just a reference to how "we" would perceive someone from Roshar.
  5. The Connection vision that Dalinar sees with Nale shows Nale holding a "suckling child" while dark forces ride in the distance, so I think that's what the Death Rattle refers to.
  6. Taln once got bitten by a Whitespine. It died a few hours later. Taln's Scar: what happened when he got mad at the Cosmere
  7. And I will only use it whilst riding a zombie-dinosaur (now that I think of it, that's almost like a Thunderclast….)
  8. I'd name mine PWND! And then every time I would run into battle I would scream "Polka Will Never Die!"
  9. I think it works the same way as F-Iron - as you increase your weight, you get a corresponding increase in strength so that you don't fall and crush your own body. In the case of A-pewter, while you get an increase in strength, you also get the corresponding increase in sensory feedback necessary to not injure yourself with the increased strength. As proprioception involves nerves and receptors that reside in and around muscles, I believe A-pewter enhances the feedback a user gets from them
  10. Proof: Stephen Leeds seems to create an aspect whenever he needs a new skill or knowledge base; Hold always "knows" where he needs to be. Ergo, Hoid is one of those aspects. Theory: The ten gas giants of the Rosharan system were put there when Adonalsium had a bad stretch of indigestion while creating the Cosmere
  11. Jastes Lekal, for thinking he could "bribe" and command a Koloss army with fake wooden coins without any problems indefinitely
  12. Me too!! My wife refuses to try, and my sister just didn't like his style as much
  13. Proof: Elvis is the King. "Nuff said. Oh, but there's even more: Elvis's most famous suit of all was white, and what else is white? Shin Chickens. Also, if you took all the sequins on Elvis's suits, you would get a number with a root of 16. Theory: Cthulu is the God Beyond
  14. Wacky, wavy, inflatable arm-flailing tube man! Wacky wavy, inflatable arm-flailing tube man! Wacky, wavy inflatable arm-flailing tube man! Welcome to Hoid's Wacky, wavy inflatable arm-flailing tube man Warehouse and Emporium! These deals are truly out of this worrrlllldddd!!!"
  15. In Soviet Roshar, cremlings crush YOU underfoot In Soviet Roshar, Dysian Aimians are the Sleepy...
  16. My guess is that Ashynite surgebinding would result in a different type of manipulation of the same surges. We know that the surges are a natural expression of the laws of nature in the Cosmere, so the possibilities are certainly intriguing. How this ties back to Renarin's Glysblade, though, is beyond me now lol
  17. Well, we know that humans from Ashyn were using some form of Surgebinding, and that has something to do with the First Desolation...what we don't know is how Ashyn surgebinding manifested itself, or how it might look on Roshar...maybe they DID have Shardblades (Dawnshards, anyone?) but perhaps not spren-blades at that point.
  18. @Doomdrinker Ahh, yes, good find! I knew there was a reason I thought Tukks was dead already... Still, it's possible that Kal's flashbacks to his time in the army may give him the right insight to be able to say the 4th oath and actually mean it. Too hard to say at this point, though, I suppose.
  19. It's possible, but remember the other members of Kaladin's squad were killed because they were the only surviving witnesses of him killing Hellaran, not because they knew Kaladin really well. We also know that most, if not all, the Secret Societies on Roshar, were unaware of Kaladin being a potential Radiant, so there would be no reason to look into his past associations to root out knowledge of him. AS for Vasher (aka Zahel), not sure where he went....I mean, after a few scenes in early OB where he interacts with Dalinar he just....fades into the background, and we don't get to see him anymore. Either he's decided to get out of Dodge fast with the True Desolation's arrival, or he's keeping low and not stirring up any trouble and sticking with the other Ardents.
  20. I feel like Tukks is potentially dead and gone by now. However, it wouldn't surprise me to see him show up in SA 4 as part of Kaladin's journey towards the 4th Oath. Tukk's was (is?) essential for Kaladin to realize things about war, and about leading men. If the theory that Windrunner oaths follow the Divine Attributes is correct, it's possible that Tukks or someone else from Kaladin's past would be the key to him fully realizing it.
  21. I'm pretty sure Brandon has stated flat-out that Hoid did not take Taln's blade
  22. Very true, I agree they did bond with spren of some kind when they first arrived, although whether or not it was voidspren is up for interpretation since spren did exist on Roshar well before humans arrived. I wonder, would the Parsh consider an honorspren (or any other type of "new" spren) a Voidspren since they would only have 2 genders instead of the original 4?
  23. Shai is a master artiste For the eyes, her work is a feast Till a man named Hoid She could not avoid And now she is not so shy
