  1. Awww. I go to BYU-I. But this sounds fun.
  2. Honestly, after the crazy change of plot that Sanderson punched us in the face with, I wouldn't be surprised. (Is it just me, or did the Alcatraz series get really morbid?) But who knows? It might shed some light on how the talents work.
  3. Yeah, but I thought they had to be a Smedry? I've read the series like 4 times where did I miss that they didn't have to be Smedrys?
  4. We also need to learn about She Who Cannot Be Named, remember? She literally teleported away in book 3!!
  5. I came out of 2 years of inactivity on this forum because of this book. What does that say about me? I literally have no idea. Anyways, this book killed me. You see that corpse on the floor? That's me. (Attica criiiii) I knew absolutely nothing about this book going into it, so the last few pages were a surprise to me. Bastille SMEDRY?? My biggest ship has been confirmed!! But now, to the serious part of this post. I've been wondering about this since book 1, and I reeeeeally need an answer. How the heck do dark oculators get their powers???? I need to know this. (Also, if anyone else wants to plan Alcatraz and Bastille's wedding with me, let me know. I've already sent out invitations)
  6. Well, there is the term Pegasister for female fans, but being a Brony isn't just for guys. I USED to be a Pegasister, when I used to watch MLP maybe once a while, I knew the names, you know, just the basic stuff. But being Brony means that you just don't WATCH MLP, you LIVE MLP. Bronies are hardcore pony-lovers. Not just for guys. (Besides, I refer to girls as 'bro' anyway. So yknow xD)
  7. Tehehehehhe, perfect.
  8. I wish this was multiple choice. If I could have, I would have picked both Lightsong and Blushweaver. Not only were the conversations between the 2 absolutely hilarious, but I loved how they could get along without getting along. Both of the characters were interesting alone, but together, they were flawless.
  9. *deep breath* I'm a Whovian, Sherlockian (Cumbercookie?), Wizard, Brony, Demigod, and (hehehehe) Fan of the Cosmere. But I'm probably mostly a Brony (because you know I'm a 17 year old girl in high school. Why not waste my brain away on beautiful pony stuff?) Being a Brony is epic
  10. Well I actually made this account a couple months ago while I was reading the Mistborn series (for the 11th time) and so I chose that username. I never got to use the account though because our wifi decided to not work for months on end. My favorite book (as of now) is probably Elantris. And thanks! (fellow brony?)
  11. Heyya guyz, I'm MISTaken (hahahah get it MISTaken hahahah... ._. my life needs a life) and I'm new to the fabulous rainbow of fabulous-ness you call the 17th Shard. A couple things about me: When it comes to Brandon Sanderson books, I tend to go insane- and make everyone else around me insane. I've read all of Brandon Sanderson's books- twice. Or 3 times. Or 12 times. I spend hours upon hours in my room either reading or internet-ing. And yeah, that's about it! I'm suuuuper happy to have found this forum- and a little surprised I didn't sooner- and I know that I'll fit right in! (P.S. If you clicked on this topic because of the Spanish word, I took 2 years of Spanish in High School but promptly forgot it all after the school year ended. So, yeeah.)
