First, we really don't know enough about how Surgebinding/Voidbinding works to give a good answer to specifically what happens with Tanavastium or Raysium.

My theory: Odium will be taken care of in the Stormlight Archive, and by the time we get to Mistborn 3, we're going to be dealing with this "opposing force."

Maybe it's too obvious to count as an Easter Egg, but Mistborn gives us the first mention of Adonalsium and hints at the 16 shards.

 

And, if we're counting this, there's a slew between Misborn and AoL.

 

I just noticed this from rereading the epigraphs in HoA, but Sazed spells it "Adonasium" without the "L." Typo, or intentional?

In the Emperor's Soul, Shai explains that there's a point in time where 2 bricks stop thinking they're bricks and instead a wall. The theory is that that is the same thing that makes it so, say, a gun has only 1 steel/iron line pointing to it instead of like a dozen.
