Ruin and Preservation seem like major players as far as Scadrial goes, but in the Cosmere they're only 1/16th of a bigger picture That's the beauty of Brandon's books imo: stories within stories buried in stories. Enjoy your time here!

Rowling is a decent writer but one thing I felt her books lacked was worldbuilding of the kind that Sanderson and Rothfuss can provide. You can actually visualise their characters in your minds! Anyways, welcome to the forum!

So, tell me your all time favourite fantasy books (can be single book or series). To start off, 1. Wheel of Time (I read the whole series at least a couple times a year haha) 2. Mistborn (Y) 3. Malazan book of the Fallen 4. Stormlight archives (By the Lord Ruler, please let him finish the series ASAP!) 5. Kingkiller Chronicles (Third book. Now.) I suppose this could also serve as a recommendation to other people. I'd love to hear you guyses' opinions!
