  1. Promise of Blood by Brian McClellan is a favorite of mine. The author worked under Brandon Sanderson.
  2. What would be the most fatal injury that could happen to a Bloodmaker that they could survive. As in, we know they cannot survive decapitation, but what if their entire head was not severed, only 80% of it? Do you think they could live through that?
  3. Well, if Hoid was alive during Adonalsium, then he must have been around during the creation of Scadrial and TLR's ascension. He could have been away at the time, looking for action, but being in the wrong place. It has been said that Hoid has Feruchemy, so he could have gotten it from being around Terris for a time. It's entirely plausible that Hoid was at the ascension; it would have been quite a show watching an entire world change in a short amount of time.
  4. It's kind of a funny story. I was looking through a bookstore for any book and found the book Promise of Blood by Brian McClellan. It had just come out and looked interesting, so I bought it. After spending three days constantly reading that terrific debut novel, I noticed that he had been taught by a man named Brandon Sanderson. Obviously someone who can write like that must have a great teacher. So, I bought Mistborn, Way of Kings, and Elantris, and I've been reading him ever since.
  5. In WoR, when Szeth attempted to kill Dalinar, both Dalinar and Kaladin had stabbed Szeth with their spears, but Szeth shrugged them off like they were no big deal, also taking their weapons away from them. This is very similar to the Lord Ruler, in the first Mistborn, being stabbed twice with spears by two soldiers, but hardly even flinched. I find this to be a very nice parallel between two books between the Cosmere.
  6. I would definitely be a Feruchemist, or at least a Steel Ferring. The thought of being able to store speed whenever I am reading or resting and being able to outrun speeding cars for a short amount of time sounds terrific.
  7. What do you think silver would be in Allomancy or Feruchemy.
  8. Hello people that enjoy Mr. Sanderson's books. I am fairly new to his books, but I plan on reading all of them. I just finished the first Mistborn, and am halfway through Way of Kings. I cannot wait to finish all of them!
