  1. Relatively eternal life and extra-human conditions seem pretty nice, but then there's the problem of being consumed by that shard's intent. Sazed seems to have gotten off lightly, with his pair of opposing shards allowing him to remain in control, from what I can tell. However, I would probably only take a shard if nobody else would. If it was forced upon me to take it, I would, and if I was allowed to choose, then perhaps I'd probably pick Devotion or Dominion.
  2. Having only the paperback version of The Way of Kings in my current collection (I'll be sure to get it in hardcover sometime nearer the end of the series), I was curious if it had artwork like the Words of Radiance does on its interior, so I looked up the images online on Brandon's site. And I came across these: http://brandonsanderson.com/images/wok/tWoK_ENDSHEET-FRONT-1-webres.jpg http://brandonsanderson.com/images/wok/tWoK_ENDSHEET-REAR-2-webres.jpg I realize that there's probably been talk, debate and questions asked and answered already about this second one, as the first is obviously the double eye of the Almighty with the ten surges and ten orders of the radiants surrounded by the ten heralds. But, after some thinking about it, I've been wondering if this shows ten Parshendi forms, each somehow having access to two different aspects. The two on the red gem might somehow be the voidbringer forms of the Parshendi. However this is speculation, and I'm most likely wrong.
  3. And twice the chance of sort of getting something almost right! Yay! But yes, the more minds you have, the easier it is to take all those minds and find the right answers. I hope that my oddball theories aren't too obvious, though.
  4. Unfortunately, I'm a little fuzzy on my metalic arts to remember exactly what effect reverse compounding electrum would have. However, I do think that Hoid probably has a little more of a trick up his sleeve. Probably something that we haven't actually heard yet. But, this could explain a little bit more about how he can throw off some of his pursuers, one of which is a known atium misting.
  5. Joined. Although the only multiplayer game I play with any regularity is Warframe.
  6. I'm tempted to choose AonDor, because of its usefulness in every situation, but, considering how often I forget various less-complex glyphs and runes, I would probably not be very proficient with it. So I will choose Chayshan, because it feels similar to the Tai chi and swordplay forms I'm familiar with.
  7. Although I have lurked about for a time, mostly frequenting the Cosmere Theories area, I felt it appropriate to begin posting on occasion. So, for now, I am Urilikya, merchant and lorekeeper, and I'm pleased to meet you.
