I found the flashbacks meaningless and boring mostly. But then again I have no clue what most of the things in them refer to (for instance, who Hoid is) so that might be a problem. Is there some sort of database/wiki well all these little quirks are listed?

I had no clue they were in the same universe in any way?

Sel? Shardworlds? Isn't this a stand-alone series?
