My guys I HATE Multiplying fractions. Anyhow, I am now a mistborn, you may clap now if you so desire. Just feeling a little... a little tense. Math is just... geh. I binge reread books 2-4 of PJO on Monday and started book five at like 10 something o-clock. I finished it today. (PJO=Percy Jackson and the Olympians (spoilers for book four of PJO) The soundtrack for Dark Phoenix is just sweet. The Score's (a cool band) songs push me through the day. So much awesome songs... Sorry if I seem all over the place.

I made some champurrado and it is soooo good! In case you don’t know what champurrado is, it is a Mexican cinnamony thick hot chocolate. Basically chocolate atole. I love it!!! It just makes me so happy! … Until I remember all the stressful stuff, but that is future me’s problem

We just got back to school (I'm in high school) and... I am not happy. I was told by a teacher that this is a prime time in our lives! We don't have to worry about rent or food or other irritating bothers... but then school takes up most of our time and makes it VERY HARD to spend more waking hours in school than with our families. What if we only went to school one week out of every two? The teachers could condense all the homework time and wasted moments to teach two lessons' worth. But no. Instead, everybody thinks this formula should be reality (and it mostly is nowadays): School=1/2 childhood waking hours What a societal mistake. (If you wanna read more rants on this subject, I will enclose a document as soon as I can for your perusal. Make sure to cite your sources!)

I'm willing to bet the Set may have been involved even earlier than this, but we get a couple of hints as to the timeframes for when Edwarn and Miles first got involved. Here's Miles from AoL chapter 17 (which takes place in Scadrian year 341): Can't say for certain that he fell under Trell's influence at the same time, but supposing he did that would put it in 331. That's around the same time that Edwarn went into hermit mode for a decade. Here's Wax confronting Mr. Suit in the AoL Epilogue: That faked death occurred in 340, so going back a decade gives us the Scadrian year 330. So that's 10-11 Scadrian years ago. Converting between Scadrian's Earth-like days and years to Roshar's 20-hour days and 500-day years, that would be between around 8.7 and 9.6 Rosharan years. I believe that Brandon has said that all of MB Era 2 takes place in the 10-15 year time gap between the front and back half of SA. Assuming that the contest of champions (which is slated to occur around mid 1175 on Roshar) is roughly the end of the front half, then Miles began to plan the train robbery and Edwarn went hermitlike around late 1165 to late 1166 on Roshar. That's somewhat intriguing because a number of big things happen on Roshar around that same timeframe: Shallan starting to bond Testment, Szeth being named Truthless, first contact between the listeners and the Alethi, and Axindweth giving Ulim to Venli.

Maybe Harmony wants Wax to spike himself with Harmonium and Trellium so that he can have a conference with Wax and Trell.

Honorspren are direct children of Stormfather, so the bond with Honorspren have a more direct Connection to Stormfather than other spren. Beyond that, acceptance and any oversight of that acceptance should be different from spren to spren and what the bondmate experiences with that acceptance should be different, as well.

This is a bit of the first chapter to a book I'm working on. Any advice/help is welcome. Do you understand what's going on? I'm a new (I've been writing for years though) writer and would welcome opinions from anyone. Also. I've written quite a freaking bit on this. If anyone wants the google doc, I might put the link here. I don't think I'll end up publishing it since I'll probably be gone for 2 years soon. I'd like to share what I've done though and get some constructive criticism on my bad habits and stuff.

I think that the Atium potentially returning may be a key part, but here's another factor: Southern Scadrial. The North and the South have made official contact for first time ever, the South have incredible technology but few Metalborn while the North have many Metalborn but have somewhat stagnated technologically. Them coming together in peaceful ways would result in Scadrial as a whole becoming incredibly developed extremely quickly which I'm assuming is what Trell doesn't want. Trell, or rather his 'Faceless Immortal' says stuff along the lines of "Scadrial's people have become too dangerous, so I'mma kill them all" at the end of BoM. This is likely in response to the North contacting the South.

For me I just went "yeah storm it" and went all out on the first one. Granted, the worldbuilding that's actually in the book is pretty limited compared to what exists canonically in the world.

This is incredible, Gregorio. I really like the names and how varied the coverage is. I don't have many more thoughts, though, I don't have the time at the moment.

Lol, I doubt any of my siblings friends are on the shard. My siblings and their friends are all a little young for online chatting and Brandon's series (Aside from Alcatraz) so I'd be surprised if any of them are on the shard.

I second (third) the suspicions that the "bean counters" from the "accounting department" that is sending out men in bowler hats to find Wayne are not dunning him for debt collection (given how rich he reflected on having become in BoM), more likely trying to give him his share of profits from investing in Sophie Tarcsel's experiments with electricity at the end of Shadows of Self and him wanting her basically to keep it. There seems to be a huge point in favor of the theories that the "second earring" that Harmony implied he'd need to make "with the proper metal, when it arrives" is trellium; though given its effect on Paalm/Bleeder/Lessie, it would be circumspect to use the first earring he's got, to confirm that of Harmony, before plugging in trellium into his other ear.

This is the best idea, I love it. I'm thinking through all the options though and maybe this could be a big bad setup for the back half of stormlight. I think Brandon has enough on his plate with book 5 that we don't need another big character, and the thing is the fused villains from RoW didn't get minis. So Zellion would have to get more done than Rabionel, in a book with a thousand loose threads during the duration of 10 days. I think Zellion might be a big name in the back half of stormlight, because otherwise he wouldn't be important enough to be made a special case spoiler mini. Also he's got to be a fused or parshendi or something, no way that's a human.
