  1. Hi! I've been doing Inktober! I've mostly been doing the official prompts, but there's one that I opted to do the Cosmere prompt instead (Fallen) October 1: Crystal She has a crystal sword. And her foot is on a giant uncut crystal. Yeah! Dunno why the pictures are uploading sideways. Deal with it. October 2: Suit Cute penguin boi! He cute. I like. October 3: Vessel I'm really proud of this one. It's a vessel (boat) inside of a vessel (container of water) October 4: Fallen This is the one that I did Cosmere instead of the official one. It's just a falling/fallen flower. October 5: Raven I'm also really proud of this one. Those friggin feathers took FOREVER October 6: Spirit This is the most TERRIFYING art that I have EVER done. (There is blood and weapons so don't open the spoiler if you don't want to see that) October 7: Fan I'm...not proud of this one. At all. It looks SO bad. But oh well. October 8: Watch This one didn't take a while lot of effort but I still really like it. He v snazzy. October 9: Pressure Blobfish, the blobfish everyone thinks of, only look the way they do because they are PULLED UP FROM THEIR NATURAL HABITAT TO A PLACE WHERE THEY DON'T HAVE ENOUGH PRESSURE TO EXIST NORMALLY October 10: Pick This is one of the absolute cutest arts I've EVER done and it makes me asmjdjsjd every time I think about it. That's all I've got so far!!! Thanks

  2. So we’ve seen a total of 5 on-screen deaths involving Raysium daggers: Jezrien, Essu, Phendorana, Raboniel, and Lezian. For the last four, we have a pretty good understanding of the mechanics. The dagger was set to have anti-Investiture flow out, that anti-Investiture collided with and destroyed opposing Investiture, thereby killing three Fused and one honorspren. With Jezrien though, there’s no anti-Investiture involved. His physical body is killed and his spirit (some combo of spiritual/cognitive aspects I think) was sucked into a gemstone through the Raysium dagger instead of returning to Braize via the Oathpact. Kelek describes what happened next as follows: I take it from the above that all that was left of Jezrien was an ordinary cognitive being that lacked the necessary Investiture to resist being pulled toward the beyond. And I understand the lack of a valid Connection to the Physical Realm. But I’m wondering about the mechanics of the severing of his Connection to the Spiritual. I think it breaks down into two questions: 1. What exactly was the “bond” that was severed? The most likely candidate seems to be his bond to the other Heralds. But I suppose it could be to Roshar? Something else? 2. How was the bond severed? Was it the fact that what remained of him was trapped in a gemstone that severed the bond? That would seem undercut by what Kelek says about BAM. She was also trapped in a gemstone but, according to Kelek, would not fade, suggesting that merely being in a gemstone didn’t cut off her access to Investiture. (Maybe this is because Honor is dead but Odium is not) Or was it something about being stabbed with a Raysium dagger? I assume that Jezrien’s being was still sufficiently linked with Honor’s Investiture when captured because Raysium conducts Investiture. So that seems to be how he was pulled into the gem (unless there was something special about the gem?). Did the process of being pulled through Raysium sever the bond? One thing I’ve been thinking is that maybe Raysium acts as some kind of Spiritual Division. I found some evidence for this in the herald portraits in the arches in chapters in which Raysium daggers appear. In all but two chapters in which the daggers appear, either Nale’s or Chana’s (the two heralds with access to division) portraits are included. So this just has me wondering if the surge of Division is part of what severed Jezrien’s Connection to the Spiritual Realm. Interested in any thoughts.

  3. Well, it seems some of you are asleep at the wheel. When will it get through your thick skulls that you need to vote to win? Instead, you're trying to abstain. Well, that won't fly. If you forget to vote, you vote on yourself, and remember, that you must vote on a candidate. If you vote on a non-candidate, you're breaking the rules, and I'll be forced to take drastic action. So if you "forget" to vote again, and you're not a candidate, you're also breaking the rules. Rule-breakers will be punished. Anyway, here's your candidates. Candidates: xinoehp512: 2 votes The Unknown Order: 2 votes Azmine_king: 2 votes Illwei: 2 votes Droughtbringer: 1 vote |TJ|: 1 vote STINK: 1 vote Non-Candidates: Danex: 1 vote Araris Valerian: 1 vote Alvron: 1 vote Liranil: 1 vote Ashbringer: 1 vote Matrim's Dice: 0 votes Devotary of Spontaneity: 0 votes Lahilt: 0 votes This Cycle will end on Sunday October 17th, at 8 PM CST.

  6. [Insert writeup here Probably something to do with the honorspren...yes yes... hmmm... them arguing over if they should bond? yeah, yeah. that'd work. something like that...someone speaks up, and is locked away. that's how it should end, with someone being locked away. does being locked away even make any canonical sense? I'm not really sure, but it's not like it has to be anyways, probably something like that...maybe some yelling...or. no yelling? maybe I should ask someone else... But some sorta...Honorspren council arguing, then someone gets too loud and gets locked away. all the other Spren realize that they need to stay quiet. oh, this would be pretty good as an opener with a fake "[Name] was a Rebel Honor Spren" ...yeah yeah, I'll save it for next time] Welcome to: Long Game 81: Lasting Integrity I will hopefully be the GM for this game. The IM will be [insert IM here]. Signups will end at 3PM PST on...Thursday, October 21st. Pending changing work schedule. And player count. The game will begin shortly after that, and rollover will be at 3 maybe. The setting is very minimal, don't expect a lot in terms of writeups. PLEASE note the activity filter and the removal mechanic. Rules, though they can also be found in Doc Form Player List Spectators Pinch Hitters Quicklinks someone let me know if i'm missing something

  7. I'm sure that I'm not the first person to post something like this, but one thing about having a series that sorts people based on personality, is that you can't help but think some characters would be perfect for that group. Like in Harry Potter with the school houses, I often like to think that one character or another would be perfect for a particular order of Knights Radiant. I decided to compile a list of characters throughout the cosmere, that as far as I know have never set foot on Roshar, that suit each order of radiant. I hope to build more lists like this in the future, sorting characters from other fandoms. BondSmith-Sarene (Ellantris) Sarene seems like a natural politician to me. She not only initiates a political marriage for herself to unite two kingdoms, but works with political allies to help keep the kingdom from falling apart. Her husband Raoden might seem like a better choice, but he seems more like someone who just wants to improve the lives of people, not unite different people. WindRunner-Vin(Mistborn) A no brainer, for me. She can fly through the air in a similar manner to WindRunners, and she had to learn to care enough about people to protect them. First her friends, then the people of the empire. She struggles with exactly the same conflict with killing that Kaladin does, so she strikes me as an ideal Windrunner. SkyBreaker-Waxiliium(Mistborn Era 2) Waxillium seems more sure of his actions for killing than Vin does, and he is referred to multiple times as a lawman. He also flies through the air with his abilities, similar to WindRunners and SkyBreakers, but while he is a protecter, he sees himself as a lawman. He could probably go either way between WindRunner and Skybreaker, but I see him more as a Skybreaker. DustBringer-Hrathen(Ellantris) DustBringers are described as people who seek self mastery. This is supposed to be appropriate because of the destructive powers they wield, which seems like a good fit for Hrathen. He is a religious soldier, demonstrating his considerable control over himself during his fast in Ellantris, but he is also willing to resort to destructive means when he sees it as necessary, such as when he instigated a bloody conflict in Duladel. EdgeDancer-Fafen(Warbreaker) Most people probably don't remember that there were three princesses in Idris. But Vivenna and Siri had a sister in-between them in age. She was a monk in a country where their jobs were mostly to grow food for poor people. This seems to fit extremely well with EdgeDancers, given their attitudes and powers. TruthWatcher-Tindwyl(Mistborn) This order was tricky, since most scholars would fit the role of a TruthWatcher, but I settled on Tindwyl. Most keepers, with one major exception, seem to focus on discovering and recording knowledge, keeping a more objective and neutral position in their world's affairs. This makes it seem like most keepers would fit the role of Truthwatcher. LightWeaver-Shai(Emporer’s soul) -Another no brainer. Shai is a skilled artist (though I don't like how she uses her talent), is extremely good at lying to herself, and possesses an ability that is very similar to soulcasting. A natural LightWeaver. ElseCaller-Marasi(Mistborn Era 2) A couple of people would fit the order of ElseCallers, but it's tricky since we've only seen one so far. But I think Marasi works. She is someone that seeks to improve the world around her, but does so in an intellectual way, instead of through fighting. Her explanation of the broken window theory in Alloy of Law shows she has a scholarly side to herself, and she seems to me to be similar to Jasnah. WillShaper-Hammond(Mistborn) I struggled with WillShapers more than any other order. In the end, I chose Hammond because he is a bit of an oddball, and the WillShapers are supposed to be a diverse group. He ended up fighting for the freedom (WillShaper ideals) of the Skaa, despite initially agreeing out of a desire for riches. He is different from most Thugs due to his philosophical pondering, which is atypical to people with his powers. StoneWard-Captain Goradel(Mistborn) StoneWards are said to have ideals related to being dependable, and Gorodel seems to fit that role well. After Vin spares him, he seeks repeatedly to make himself useful, even in dire situations. From helping Skaa survive a cold winter during a siege to delivering a vital message when the world appeared to be ending. He probably does so partly out of a feeling of debt to Vin, but still impressive. What do you think?

  8. The theory is pretty much in the title. Based on a number of different pieces of evidence, I think that Adonalisum may have created Roshar to serve as a laboratory for creation/experimentation. A place where he used his divine voice (we learn in RoW that Lights respond to tones/rhythms because they are reminiscent of the voices of gods) to command the fundamental forces of creation and existence. Below, I've pulled together a bunch of WoBs and quotes from the books below that serve as background and support, and then I try to pull it all together. BACKGROUND - WOBS The Rosharan System was created by Adonalsium for a specific purpose: And it wasn't just the overall system. The continent of Roshar was specifically grown by Adonalsium too: Non-sapient spren, the singers, and highstorms all predate the Shattering and were part of Adonalisum's intentional design. One key aspect of the design of Roshar is the rhythms, which pervade the cosmere but manifest in a specific way on Roshar: BACKGROUND - QUOTES FROM THE BOOKS Eshonai, in RoW 116, concludes that Roshar IS the rhtyhms: Next, we have Raboniel and Navani in RoW 76, discussing the relationship between Lights and sound: Later, while trying to create anti-Light, Navani muses further on the nature of sounds, lights, and divinity in the epigraphs for chapters 70, 71: So Lights (Investiture) can be manipulated via sound. You know what else is Investiture? Spren. Spren are sentient pieces of the same powers that are referred to as the Surges, the innate forces by which all life and reality are connected. Here's Shallan discussing spren with Jasnah in WoR 3: Here's Syl in WoR 9: Here's the Sibling in RoW 28: PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER So if tones/rhythms can manipulate Investiture/spren/Surges and Roshar was crafted by Adonalsium in such a way that the rhythms manifest in a specific and unique way (Roshar IS the rhythms), it starts to look like Roshar was essentially some kind of laboratory/sound studio for Adonalsium. A place where he spoke as a divinity and literally command the fundamental forces/powers of creation and existence. Perhaps it even functioned as his broadcasting base, a place from which he issued commands out to the wider cosmere, exerting influence and shaping worlds. Going even a step further, who's to say it wasn't the exercise of these powers that led the 16 original Vessels to shatter Adonalsium? As a responsible divinity, it seems that pre-Shattering Adonalsium was careful to place limitations on the power to manipulate Surges. See, for example, this WoB: But post-Shattering, Roshar must have looked pretty attractive to the Shards as they looked around for a place to settle down. That's one of the things I really like about this theory. It fits nicely with the Shards that did make their way to Roshar post Shattering. Honor being all about promises (which Syl and the Sibling equate with fundamental forces/laws of nature), it makes sense that there would be a lot of Investiture assigned to that Shard on Roshar. I can also imagine Honor being particularly concerned with safeguarding a planet with such a unique ability to command fundamental forces. If Roshar was a laboratory for experimentation that would also fit with there being a good chunk of Investiture assigned to Cultivation, given that she's about being about creation and growth. And Odium, being associated with that jealous part of divinity that more than anything wants its commands to be obeyed, would be drawn there as well. Indeed, Rayse seemed to think that all of the Shards would eventually try to get in on that sweet Surgebinding action from Roshar, particularly now that the bounds Honor placed on the Surges have fallen away. This is from RoW 112: That's it. That's the theory. In my mind it makes sense. But I concede that in same places I may have too simply conflated Investiture, spren, and Surges. Could be a crazy display on the wall in which I make unsupported connections between things or assume causation where there isn't any. But I think there's something here. Anyway, thanks for reading if you made it this far. As always I'm interested to hear what others think. Edit: D’oh! Almost forgot my favorite part of the sound studio idea. Ba-Ado-Mishram as the mixing board.

  11. Let's nominate Ashbringer, who's been around but hasn't posted. Vel had known for over a decade that her parents couldn't afford a child. It had been clear from their tiny apartment and cheap food and the fact that the other kids at school had better clothes and toys that her parents would have been better off by themselves. Her parents had refused to hear of it. "Everything we do is for you, little one. We make sacrifices and go into debt so that you have a chance at a better life than we had." This had been accepted with an understanding nod, and an internal realisation of a responsibility to grow up and make enough money to get them out of debt. Growing up was characterised by an intense focus on school, as this was both interesting and the only clear way of career advancement. There would be no competing at a money-making level in non-academic fields against children who had extensive leisure time and could afford fancy equipment and private lessons. Vel did participate in team athletics, after parental encouragement in the hopes of health benefits and also a chance of making friends, but only the former was achieved. Vel always felt disconnected from everyone except family members, which would eventually be a problem in finding a spouse who could help solve financial problems simply by existing especially if they were rich, but this was a problem that couldn't be solved by dedication and hard work the way schoolwork could. Eventually, she decided this problem could wait until she was old enough to marry without parental permission. When she was old enough, she quit athletics to seek gainful employment, which her parents reluctantly allowed only so long as it didn't interfere with her schoolwork. "It's a parent's responsibility to take care of their children, not the other way around," they said. "We want you to do what's best for you and not worry about how it affects us. You'll understand this someday, but for now just know that we love you and we want you to be happy." "It'll make me happy to get a job. As your daughter, it's my duty to repay all the sacrifices you've made for me my whole life, but I promise I won't let it prevent from doing well in school the way you want." Seeing her parents' faces showing a complicated set emotions that looked to be a mix of shock and disappointment she added, "and I don't want to play team sports anymore anyway, so I need something to fill that time and a job could be fun." After a week of heated private discussions, her parents finally relented and allowed her to look for a part-time job. There weren't a lot of great job opportunities for a teenager who had to attend school full time and dedicate hours of time at home to keep her grades up in the need to graduate at the top of her class, but Vel was able to find employment doing manual labor for marginally better than the absolute minimum workers were legally allowed to be paid. Her social life dropped to zero as she stopped pretending the masks she wore in different circumstances were anything other than lifeless façade. Her parents were by far the closest outsiders to knowing the real her, but even they could only see the entirety of a construct. Vel didn't even know who she was at this point, but figured that was less important than fitting the person she needed to be. Her family was eating better these days and she was still on track to be successful in life, and that was what mattered. Finally, after years of grueling effort her hard work mostly paid off. She wasn't at the top of her class, falling behind students who'd had the free time to fill their schedules with the most difficult classes, and she wasn't accepted into all of the universities she'd wanted because she didn't have much to show for herself on the extracurricular side of things and hadn't been able to spend bucketloads of money and thousands of hours preparing for tests, but she'd done well enough to get full scholarships to multiple good universities and free tuition to the school of her choice. When she lamented that even with free tuition it would still be expensive for her to attend, her parents assured her they could take care of it. "We've received correspondence from a new loan company. They offer loans with very generous terms to 'economically disadvantaged' people and I hear they're willing to give huge payouts to kickstart the careers of people they think will make it big with just a little help. We know you're all about self-denial, but just this once accept something for yourself please?" Distracted by a rare feeling of exuberance, Vel agreed. The next morning, Vel woke up to find that her parents were gone. In their place was a letter addressed to her sent by the same loan company that had offered to pay her university bills. Hands shaking, Vel opened the letter. "Dear [Redacted]," it began. We are delighted to hear that you have accepted a loan from us. Welcome to the family! Please come to our nearest loan office at your earliest convenience to discuss terms." Underneath was the addresses of all the offices scattered throughout the country, along with a postscript. It read "P.S. Your parents will be waiting for you when you get here."

  14. Two reasons, they are still useful for proper vision because while the inside of the helmet is translucent it isn't transparent. Second, it functions as a breathing hole. A possible third reason is expectations. If a Surgebinder is familiar with armor having eyeslits in general, it could be an unconscious formation they make in their Plate. While spear tip designs varied, they were often pretty flat outside of the base. I'd imagine that Roshar weapon design would be big on this to take advantage of the eye slit and small cracks that can form from damage when a Plate wearer got immobilized like how the Singers tried doing to Jasnah in RoW

  18. I’m not very familiar with the WoB, but as good as she is at listening to and reading people, it’s just my impression that she feels waaay more like a LightWeaver. Plus her soul stamped personalities remind me of Shallan. I don’t want to argue with the word of the author, but I’m hard set on her being a LightWeaver. I’m a bad speller. I considered her for a TruthWatcher as well, but the way she shows initiative feels like more of an ElseCaller mentaility. She joined the constabulary and tries to prove herself. That feels more assertive than the TruthWatchers.

  19. Sorry for the late replies! Yeah, these should all be under the final release title so #dawnshard novella and #cytonic book (to help distinguish from #cytonics the "magic systems"). So, for these I do like the longer names for both, but I'm going to make opposite rulings. #wan shailu is probably overkill (I just really like how it flows), so let's go with #shai. I definitely think it should be #shalash though, as just #ash is potentially ambiguous with stuff for Scadrial. By rights this should probably be #sibling. I like #the sibling but that sets certain precedents that I'm not sure I want set... This is hard, since they do technically refer to separate things. Let's just go with #church of the survivor. Now that we know they are the same person, we should just use #kelsier. Should be #way of kings prime. These were always intended to have the period, there was just a recurring bug that stripped punctuation from tags. So this is an artifact from before we had the term "singer" in Oathbringer. At that point Brandon had indicated that "listener" was the species name and Parshendi was just a group of listeners. Then Brandon added singer as the species name in the actual text and screwed with everything. I agree that #parshendi should be depreciated in favor of #listeners. This sort of tag should be plural. Should be the first in both cases, since we do know the true title. Should just be Hoid. Should be the one with the apostrophe Hmm, I guess the "bracers" probably do need a tag. #bands of mourning for the bracers and #the bands of mourning book for the book (just to help distinguish them from each other). And now that Lost Metal has actually been written and the title is unlikely to change, it should really be #the lost metal. As mentioned above, tags should generally be pluralized. I don't think this currently requires a tag. Yep, #upcoming works should be used for this. We currently don't have expressed guidelines for this sort of thing. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. the problem is that while IPA is useful, not everyone is able to read/write in it. I will open this as a topic to be discussed. I don't think the research journal currently needs a tag, but if at some point it becomes necessary we do have the precedent of #<book> in-world with #the way of kings in-world. It looks like these were already fixed on the entries themselves, but they are still showing up. I will check with Mestiv about fixing the issue that is causing this.

  21. I see and acknowledge your point, but I gotta disagree. First (although this isn't really my point), to name some instances where this has been treated differently in recent years: Jasnah proposes genocide as a solution to their problems in Oathbringer, Wayne is a morally uncomfortable character to a degree that bothers a lot of readers of Mistborn Era 2. You could call Harmony one of the "good guys" of Era 2, and the ending of Shadow of Self is all about difficult, morally questionable decisions that were the best option. I haven't read Lux yet, but from what I've gathered, the main characters in there are morally more in a gray area than in the original Reckoners books ... to name some examples. Now, I agree that most of Brandon's main characters still tend to be heroic, by a long shot! But that's not something that ever changed, because that was always the case. It was the same with Elantris and Warbreaker, for instance. Mistborn is actually the exception across the board. I think you should also keep in mind that the main characters in Stormlight would basically break their bonds if their weren't heroic, so them being the good guys is written into the magic system. So at least there's good reasons for it in this series: If they weren't "good", most of them wouldn't have their bonds anyway and therefore wouldn't be important for the story. As a result, I also disagree that the heroic nature of the characters in his stories is a result of his attempts to be more inclusive. Instead, they are a conscious attempt at reflecting his own view of mankind, which is an optimistic one in contrast to the pessimistic one that was popular in the genre when he got published (and is still popular now). He talks about it a bit here and here. So I believe that you (understandably) came to this conclusion because Mistborn is the story that has the most antihero characters and was incidentally one of his first published stories. But apart from that one he was always on the side of "many heroic characters that have to make some hard decisions here and there, with a few morally gray characters thrown in there". Even before he got published. There's not a lot of antiheroes in White Sand, if you read the unpublished manuscript. He didn't change in that regard, but he bent his rules a bit for Mistborn, which was early enough in his publishing career to make it seem like he changed. But looking at it more closely, I think it's safe to say that he didn't. If you're looking for the problematic main characters, you won't find more of them in the pre-Mistborn stuff than after it. (All that said, much respects to the careful way you phrased your comment!)

Thanks to @Flaming Coinshoot, I've enjoyed what RP you've been a part of and are in, pretty much right now as I post this. Thanks to @Tani, I've enjoyed and look forward to future RP. Thanks to @King Aragorn of Gondor for being the only person to say anything on my first Shardiversary. Never forget... Thanks to EVERYBODY taking the time to read this and also EVERYBODY that I would've put on here but have forgotten and EVERYBODY I've RPed with. Also, @Isabelle6060 and @Merciful are alright, I guess. Rebranding, of sorts. I had a life crisis the other day when I realized I'm a knight, not a sword, and my pic ought to represent that. I'M NOT HAPPY WITH THEM YET SO BEAR WITH ME. But here are some of my recent attempts... Chapter One Maybe posting the first chapter of my book on here will motivate me to write chapter three (there are 21 planned chapters and I've worked on/off, mostly off, for a year now). It will have its own thread but consider this a proper sneak peek. And don't feel bad if you don't read it lol, your feelings of wanting to read it are just as valid. I've been there... Also it doesn't have a name yet. Also not looking for constructive feedback on it unless you're a part of my writing group, in which case, feel free to constructively criticize there. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1D0Vp7NDWsgTdufjKrMKwDELg308KMrmUY2aV5Fc_UdA/edit?usp=sharing Story of the Knight of Gold A continuation, of sorts, of my last rap battle, versus a foe even greater... Meme I did a couple last time but I will only do one this time. Happy Two Thousand!

  23. This. My father is a great man and a good person. If a book was written from my perspective though, everyone would hate him lol. Father-son relationships, particularly when the father thinks his son should absolutely do as he did/said, can be volatile.

  24. Because the process for creating had yet to be invented. More accurately, the Fused were unaware of the process that had been invented as that process has seemingly been lost. Navani reinvented the process, leading to the Fused gaining access to anti-light.

  25. The fact that both Kalak and Raboniel explicitly and matter-of-factly describe what happened to Jezrien as a "capture" ("collection", "harvest", etc.) makes me very confident that is exactly what was intended. I find it very unlikely that Leshwi was not aware of this - otherwise, how would she have known to recover the knife with the now super-valuable-Herald-containing-gemstone in it? What if Moash tossed it in a rock pile, or tried to keep it? I think the obvious explanation is that Leshwi simply didn't want Moash to know that a "cognitive capture" was the actual objective, preferring for him (and us, as readers) to view it as a simple murder. No Anti-Investiture was involved. I don't think Raboniel had ever even HEARD of Anti-Investiture at this point. Her first inkling that it exists comes from Navani's experiments later on. She knew that the Raysium dagger would conduct Investiture, and that gemstones could be used to capture spren, and she really wanted it to work for Heralds. She is later stunned by Navani's synthesis of Anti-Investiture, and sees it as a NEW way to end the war.

  26. We learn from the This means that at the very least the Koloss would still die at 20 or so years from excessive growth. Whether or not they would continue growing is not so clear however the term "Agelessness" Suggests that they don't age and therefore I'd assume they would not grow however this is a question for Brandon as we don't really have enough information on BioChroma to speculate any further

  27. I grabbed the hires version of Shallan's sketches of Pattern (after it'd been underwater), and messed with the brightness and contrast until it's pretty much decipherable. It appears to be made up of lines? They're not exactly tendrils or tentacles, they don't grasp or reach, they just keep circling and multiplying and combining into different patterns. The lines always seem to be connected, either at the centeral root of the Pattern or by dividing off from a root line. The delicate shapes mix and overlap and reduce by multple dimensions. It almost seems to phase in and out between two and three-dimensional space. I think it prefers a surface to connect with, but I have seen it swim through the air on rare occasions. It certainly presents some sense of depth, but the Pattern doesn't appear to possess any consistent dimensions in terms of size. I am almost certain that I have seen this Pattern somewhere before. It shares some resemblance with the creatures I observed in Kharbranth but without the body and those strange robes. Is it possibly a child or variant/servant of theirs? Words in bold I'm not sure of.
