Well, so I reaaaalyyyyyy wanted to draw her and I was actually trying some different style. I think that the drawing came out nicely, the only problem is that she doesn't really look like The Girl Who Looked Up. If I wouldn't know that this is her, I would say that's simply a random girl with a lightspren, but anyway, lightsprens are Rosharan, so I guess, it's not a big problem. I hope you'll like it

  4. Been super swamped so will not be able to comment the way I would like to, but I figured I would jump on just long enough to add some context that I think is missing from this discussion. 1. Taravangian, the king himself has tried to stop these men on numerous occasions. He has spoken to the guards. Ordered them to catch these men. Unfortunately Taravangian (appearingly) does not have much power in his own city. The guards are bribed not to patrol. Whether it is from a weathy benefactor or not, remains to be seen, but one thing is certain, those men were never going to see justice legally. 2. The men surrounding Jasnah and Shallan had lethal intent. Shallan also confirmed they were no mere cut purses. The "prey" they hunted required the victims to be killed. They could not release affluent women unharmed especially when the men could be identified by the women. None of the men covered their faces. They knew if they were actually tried for their crimes, it would mean execution as per the law of the city. 3. Multiple killings have occurred there before. So these are career criminals 4. Jasnah did not kill those men to teach a lesson. Jasnah did it to help Taravangian who based on the knowledge she had on him at the time (a kindly peacemaker) she greatly respected. If anything she felt she was remiss to not use the powers of the soulcaster more to help people (her words). Shallan was ancillary. It would have taken place had Shallan existed or not. All of these points are quotable taken right from the book. Personally Jasnah does not have self defense because she went out and purposefully looked for those individuals with what amounts to a gun. However, in the circumstance she was in, given the world she is in, and given we do know what her motivations were (she said so herself), I think she was justified. But the earlier points I made were not to argue that. Please feel free to feel however you all wish. Just wanted to provide added context.

  10. For those that didn't know, Sanderson is currently writing a screenplay for the Mistborn trilogy. We don't know when it'll be finished or what will happen beyond that. I haven't seen a thread specifically devoted to this, so I wanted to kind of start one (but if there is a thread someone please redirect me towards it). There's a lot of information about it out there, but today Sanderson just updated us on how the main heist will change, and in one of the revisions Shan is both Elend's sister making a play to secure the position as heir, and is also the main mark of the heist. Other changes that have been talked about recently include Dockson & Ham being turned into women for the screenplay. (Roughly 37 minutes in). Sanderson would also ideally like to have the trilogy adapted as a film, a television show, and then back to film. Vin's training with metals and Kelsier has been combined into them sneaking into Keep Venture (one of Sanderson's lessons, but I can't remember which one at the moment). If anyone has any more tidbits or just wants to talk about the adaptation, please comment below!

  11. Should Jasnah Killed the 4 men? She sort the men out and killed all 4 when 1 was only needed to be killed. But any defenceless woman could have been in Jasnah position (by accident) and been beaten, robbed and killed by those men Jasnah killed.

  12. [See the end of this post for the June 23 updates.] To see this article in Spanish, you can see the translation here on cosmere.es. Some interesting things came out of Reddit today. User u/DataLoreHD did some sleuthing and discovered a few very interesting entries on Recorded Books, Inc., with some release dates. Firstly, The Original--the audio original story written with Mary Robinette Kowal--would be released September 14th 2020, and narrated by Julia Whelan. Then, interestingly, there's a Stephen Leeds story, in the Legion series! It's Stephen Leeds: Death & Faxes, to be released September 1st, 2021. Lastly, there are two Dark One things as well. One is Dark One: Prophetic Histories coming February 9th, 2021, and the other is Dark One: Forgotten, releasing May 5th, 2021. So this is clearly from the publisher of these audiobooks and are marked as "RB Exclusive". Brandon did recently say The Original would be out around August so I believe the September release date for that, but we've been burned by White Sand release dates before, so I'm not sure about those other dates. But, Brandon did comment in the thread about this, and said the Stephen Leeds: Death & Faxes is an official title. He wanted to get a Stephen Leeds show made but had difficulty with it, so this audiobook series would be like a pilot to a "television show", except it's a book. He'd be overseeing the project like a show runner but not necessarily writing the individual episodes. Brandon didn't comment on the Dark One things yet, but I suppose that seems like they'd be audio originals as well, to go with the multimedia nature of Dark One? On the recent livestream, Brandon said the Dark One stream which will be available to those who preorder it is apparently sometime this week (we don't know the day yet), so maybe we can learn more there. Mistborn Screenplay Changes In the last livestream, Brandon discussed the Mistborn screenplay he's working on (look about 37 minutes in). He said that Ham would now be a woman, which he's mentioned before as being a regret in Era 1. A new fact, though, is that Dockson would also be changed to a woman. Then he was thinking Mistborn would be a film, Well of Ascension would be a TV show where we can get more detail on the crew, and then Hero of Ages would be another film. Then, today, Brandon commented on a few more changes to Mistborn in its screenplay: I'm not sure who would really make two films with a TV show in between. That seems pretty optimistic. Brandon also commented that this Mistborn film would really be a sort of alternate version of the cosmere. I think that, at least, is a good decision. Adaptations will not be the same as the books, and I think they should definitely be tailored for the medium. There are of course good and bad ways to do it, but I like that Brandon is working on this screenplay. Of course, it's important to remember this is all hypothetical and no one is attached to actually make these films. Thanks @DataLoreHD and @Use the Falchion for their research which we used for this article. June 23 Updates It's been only a day and Brandon has revealed some additional details about all of this! First, a big change to how the magic works. In the Mistborn movie atium will be usable by all Allomancers, not just Mistborn and Seers! It's something Brandon says he wishes he'd done from the start. As he (and we) has gotten further in the cosmere, using a god metal - something both powerful and rare - just in the context of Mistborn "has felt off" to him. This likely means that we'll start seeing god metals be used around the cosmere in the (distant) future; in fact, Brandon says that atium (and its alloys) would be good at resisting Shardblades - though that's not a confirmation that we'll see it used there. This change allows him to tie some movie story arcs nicely. House Venture can now better serve its dual purpose of safeguarding the atium and controlling Luthadel, because its Allomancers can use the atium as a last resort during a rebellion. This gives Ham an additional reason to join the House guard - so she can keep an eye on Shan Elariel Venture, learn where the atium is, and steal it. Go read Brandon's post, it explains this far better than this short summary can. And, in other news, we now know a little more about those Dark One audio productions. The TV show is still happening, and the graphic novel is (obviously) also still happening. But in addition to those, Brandon is producing a couple of audio dramas. Prophetic Histories is an audio novelization of his DO outline, and Forgotten is "this wacky idea I had for a "Serial" style podcast, with a journalist tracking a killer, which ties into all of this."

  13. I'm 34, have until now read all things Mistborn, Elantris, Warbreaker, and everything published from the Stormlight Archives. In addition to reading Branderson, I am now reading The Kingkiller Chronicles for the first time, after having listened to both Writing Lectures and signing Q & A's with Brandon where he mentions Patrick Rothfuss. I also enjoy the Harry Potter book series, and Discworld. I'm a teacher, Whovian, Marvel-ling (that should be a term!), cat mom/slave, wanna-be writer, definite saxophonist, sometimes piano.olayer, and an avid fangirl of so many things, especially Europe (the band, not the continent, although I wouldn't want to live anywhere else)

To keep things moving, let's start the next round while the poll is going. @Lunamor as Jasnah will be representing team Roshar and @SirWolfe as Jak will represent team Scadrial. You have a week and a half unless you request more time, so roasts are due next Wednesday, which is July 1st. (Hopefully doing things this way won’t get too messy, I just wanted to try it out and see how it worked )

  16. Hey, uh this is Rae here. Crewleader Stink is out for the day, so he asked me to check in on you. Oh. Is that a body? Wait, is that Pyromancer? Look, I know y’all had your disagreements, but that's no reason to kill him! That's the entire reason why we have a crewleader, so we can resolve disputes without killing people! This is, like, the second time you've tried to kill him over an argument. But you actually did it this time. Honestly, it's kind of hard to recognize the body. There’s… a lot of blood. Wait a minute. Who’s that in the corner? Matrim? You’re saying someone murdered him in the middle of the night and stuck him with a spike right through the heart? Gives me the creeps just looking at it! Somebody sort out this mess soon, or else Stink will be forced to disband the crew. Remember, we’re here to steal stuff, not murder each other, and we can’t steal nothing if everybody’s dead. Vote Count: The Young Pyromancer: 14 (Gears, Matrim's Dice, Ashbringer, Straw, Vapor, Shard of Reading, Mist, TJ Shade, The_Truthwatcher, The Young Pyromancer, Frozen Mint, Fifth Scholar, Devotary of Spontaneity, Lahilt) TJ Shade: 4 (Eternum, MysticLotus, Ventyl, StrikerEZ) The Young Pyromancer was lynched. They were a member of the Skaa Thieving Crew. Matrim's Dice was killed. They were a member of the Skaa Thieving Crew. GM Announcement: Votes on TJ Shade as "TJ" are incredibly difficult to see and count. If you intend to vote on TJ Shade, please vote on him as "TJ Shade". If further votes are made as "TJ" and I miss them, I reserve the right to absolve myself of blame and not correct the issue. Player list:

  17. This part (as in what I am about to say, not regarding what you said), is conjecture, but if they had the funds to bribe the guards with enough motivation to ignore their own king, I feel Jasnah would be concerned that the same benefactor or monetary leverage could be applied in getting them out of jail. Also, I could see the rationale being, Jasnah knows (as Shallan confirmed), that the murder's actions will only end them up at a noose. She was merely cutting out the middle man, and willing to take ownership of the ramifications of such. Not excusing her actions, just throwing out possible thoughts/conclusions she could have come to. True there could be a whole host of motivations, but speaking to the concrete knowledge that Jasnah was acting on, these men have killed multiple times before, and in that instance seemed to be under no duress in their pursuit of killing Jasnah and Shallan. They were not even covered, so made no effort to hide who they were nor attempted to accomplish their goals in any other way than murder. Again, not saying that excuses anything, nor warrants it. Just providing some context.

  18. I think we need to consider the cultural context: we all agree, as members of our Earthen society, that Jasnah should have arrested them or at least should only have killed the one. Of course, then we deal with the dilemma of choosing which one to kill, and who is Jasnah to decide which man deserves to die? So, if this happened on Earth, I would definitely prosecute Jasnah, seeing as only the first could have been interpreted as self-defense. However, Vorin sensibilities are very different from ours, and it seems from Shallan's research that scholars and ardents think about this differently than we do: as long as the actions of the aggressor can be viewed as righteous, the result is worth it. It's a very interesting way to interpret Journey Before Destination -- which, before the Hierocracy, was a Vorin tenet, and it could easily be argued that it still is (see example about Jasnah's actions being justified), even if they hadn't used similar words in thousands of years. It's also important to remember here that Vorinism is a culture as much as a religion, and the rules of her society apply to Jasnah regardless of whether she believes in the Almighty. Think about why she covers her safehand -- it's a social construct as much as a religious one, similar to how laws can be based in religion but still apply to everyone who lives in the places where they take effect. My conclusion: it would definitely be wrong on Earth, and many individuals on Roshar (e.g. Shallan) might also feel that Jasnah acted immorally, but the location is the only thing that really matters here, and Jasnah did it in Kharbranth, a Vorin city.

  25. Pyria Young was doing this for her father. She had to remind herself of that every few hours or so. She was gaining these nice people's trust because she had to stop them from completely taking over Elendel. She just had to keep this up for a little bit longer, keep the others from suspecting her, then she could find a way to escape when no one was looking- "Pyria, are you listening?" One of the others asked her in a loud whisper, shocking her out of her thoughts. "Yes, yes, I'm listening." She said. She noticed that they were all crouched down, looking around with scared looks on their faces. "What's going on?" She whispered back. "The Kandra." Reginald says quickly. "We think it's out there in the hallways, waiting for one of us to come out." Pyria gulped, quickly scooting on over to them and pulling a dagger out of her pocket. It happened in an instant, the door bursting open, a shape flying into the room, pain spreading across her body as the monster tore into her. It barely looked recognizable at this point, the features distorted to hide its identity. The others managed to get the monster off of her, and it ran away. Reginald and Lumen seemed to be hurt, but everyone else seemed alright. The others began to treat her wounds, and they froze. Pyria looked at them with weary eyes as the pain and shock made it hard to see. And then she remembered. They were staring at the loyalist pin hidden in her shirt, which they had ripped to try and treat her wounds. "Please," she began to beg weakly. "I don't want to die. I'm the last one, I swear, I swear, just please don't let me die." For a moment, she worried they would leave her there. Then, they got back to work on treating her wounds. She didn't mean to, but she passed out at some point. ~ Sometime later, she woke up in the main room of the building, a crowd of people surrounding her. Darson himself was there, and Reginald and the others were talking to him. "Sir, she is just a child. We found some letters in her room, and it seems that she was just doing this because of her father. Plus, we believe she's the last one." Darson nodded, then turned to look at her. He was the only one who had noticed she was awake so far. His eyes stared into hers, and Pyria swore that she felt no emotion from them. "I understand your concern for the child," Darson said to the group, raising his voice so everyone would hear him, "but, even so, she has lied to you. There is still at least one traitorous loyalist among us. The first one I caught told me how many were in this building with us after some...persuasion." Pyria gulped, her heart hammering. "Until then, I believe I can persuade young Pyria here," Darson stepped towards her, holding out his hand for her to grab, "to let us know who remains. Until then, you may do whatever you can to find the last of them. Good luck." He gave a wicked smile to the group, pulling Pyria behind him. The Young Pyromancer has been killed! They were a Loyalist Tineye/Sentry Twinborn! Magestar was attacked, but survived! Mist was attacked, but survived! PMs are no longer open! Please do not send anymore PMs. There will be a lynch this turn. As a reminder, there is no vote minimum for the lynch, and a tie vote will result in one of the tied players being lynched randomly. The turn will end at 9 pm CDT on June 23rd. The next turn will be posted as soon as possible. Player List: PMs will be sent out as soon as possible.

  27. I've been thinking for some time about the presentation of disability and chronic pain in Brandon's novels. I've been rereading a number of his books to refresh my memory on some of the details as well and I ended up with a lot of thoughts. I've written him a letter trying to provide some insight and I think it's a topic worth discussing here as well. Fair warning: it's kind of...long. But I think it needed to be to really unpack and explain what I wanted to talk about. Spoiler Warning: The letter includes direct spoilers for Mistborn, Stormlight, Elantris, Warbreaker and Reckoners. But other books are relevant to the topic as well. If you haven't read some of Brandon's books and are concerned about spoilers this is not a safe thread to read.

  32. Before I show you today's moving treasures, I want to give a quick notice: Tomorrow I am going to begin to catch up on critiques. I'm going to go story by story rather than week of submission. @shatteredsmooth Book of M is going to be the one I will do last, as I will jump straight into your short story afterwards, unless you want me to do your short story then Book of M. I am aiming to catch up on all past critiques by Monday, June 29th. Now, onto the show... Mom brought me an entire box of my old sketchbooks, which has led to some golden finds. Forgive mobile for the sideways photos (which are horrible quality, my fault). For instance, the earliest drawings of Ir that I think I still have, from 2012 (she dates back to about 2007/2008): This was back when she was in her earliest incarnation, a former hero's soul trapped in a bracelet. Then there was highschool's dragonrider/weilder of magic sword Ir, which was the longest incarnation, and the second-to-last before her current look/story. This was from the year I graduated high school, in 2015. And last but not least, a doodle of the BK from 2015: Thanks for letting me share

  35. Alright, high time I posted a reads list with some actual thoughts on people, since I’ve got a chunk of time to do analysis. 1. Gears: First two posts lay out his strategy of random voting, and spreading votes across everyone—while infeasible and likely counterproductive, I doubt it’s alignment-indicative either way, and is more likely due to his unfamiliarity with how SE lends itself towards quick bandwagons. Encourages activity and not wanting elims to be able to hide, though these are generalisable statements which I’m not going to draw much trust from. After being poked, clarified his ideas in a way which seemed consistent with a villager. Posted a reads list with a lot of null assessments, which is perhaps understandable given it was only C1, but could also be a sign of unwillingness to commit to a particular stance. Very solid analysis on the brief wagon against me last cycle, and highlights Vapor and Pyro as votes who shouldn’t be allowed to go under the radar, which certainly happened for the latter. That post felt very village to me. Goes on in their next few posts to explain their paucity of village reads, saying the equivalent of “don’t trust anyone,” always a valuable sentiment in this game. Defends Silber as village before the lynch, which actually makes me slightly paranoid that they had advance knowledge on their alignment simply because of the post’s timing, but they make solid points again in that post and their subsequent one analysing the wagon. Hedges a bit on TJ before committing to a defence of him and voting Pyro. The only thing I disagree with here is the statement of his that we should lynch TJ if Pyro is village—setting up either/ors like that are bad unless we have concrete evidence that one is evil and the other isn’t (say, they had contradicting claims about the result of an action), because the Elims can use that reasoning to get two villagers killed, or get a teammate trusted if two of their members are up for the lynch. Overall read: moderate village. Has been talking a lot of sense and making solid contributions, especially for a newer player. 2. Matrim’s Dice (you need a nickname by the way, as that’s too long to type. Does Mat work? ): Has a lot of posts, so I’ll hit the highlights. Defends the worth of random poke voting after heavy condemnation from Straw & Co., including his own initial poke on Silber. Rightfully points out that the discussion on the merits of poke-voting was going nowhere AI fast, and has some good thoughts on the issue. Briefly votes Mint for their condemnation of Gears, which was one of the first votes with reasoning behind it, and retracts once Mint defends themselves. Follows Eternum’s stance on Pyro, helping solidify that bandwagon, and pops on later to say that Vapor “is likely new-playering” by switching their vote around a lot and defending themselves often, which is probably fair. I’ll note that frequent vote-switching isn’t really a problem as long as your reasons for doing so are legitimate, though; being caught in a tunnel is never a good thing, even if you’re right. Expresses apathy as to the lynch target C1, which makes me think Matrim/Pyro isn’t a likely team. Makes a few shorter posts in which they express increasing suspicion of Vapor. Implies I might be soft-cleared from Xino’s flip, which I’m not sure how I feel about—it could be an honest villager making an assumption, but it feels a bit like an attempt at a pocket. Votes on Ventyl and softly implicates TJ over the course of several posts before switching to him, while insisting he still suspects both. Then switches to Pyro. I’m finding that he’s generally hopping between votes more this cycle, which makes me a little suspicious that he’s willing to follow other voices while still blending in as a relatively vocal player. I also don’t completely understand their suspicion of TJ or Pyro from their posts. I’ll give him a null read with the qualification that he seemed a lot more village to me last cycle than this one. 3. Ashbringer: Far lower activity than the previous two, attributing this to juggling this game with the LG (which is understandable). Refuses to commit a vote to the Silber/Pyro/Straw debate, then ties it towards the very end of the cycle by voting Pyro. I haven’t seen them around this cycle ( @Ashbringer ), and would like more analysis and input from them. For now, a slight elim read because they seem fairly content hovering below the radar. 4. Straw: Has a lot of posts as well. The main opponent to random voting, making a string of initial posts about this, as well as a few questions poking holes in Gears’ first idea. Not going to rehash the whole C1 debate about random voting, but overall nothing Straw said in it seemed particularly AI, other than his insistence that discussion be created, which is a village sentiment even if it’s easily expressed. Gives an initial reads list which I don’t take too much issue with, then pokes some people in a follow-up post to give more elaboration on their stances, which is a good way to keep discussion going; another village read for that. I’m a little unhappy with the acrimonious tendencies which some of his statements lean towards; for instance, telling Pyro his idea was “horrible” before the switch onto him. It’s likely not AI—Straw tends to be blunt with his opinions regardless of alignment—but it does feel a little off in some instances. A few more posts of his which don’t express much beyond a suspicion of Vapor, who he switches his vote to while simultaneously asserting he’d rather not lynch them. This is probably the weirdest decision Straw made, as the vote isn’t useful to apply pressure if it’s explicitly not intended to kill, and all it could do was make the outcome Straw said he opposed (a D1 lynch on a new player) more likely. Slight elim read for this. Posts another reads list which mostly seemed to reflect the thread’s general consensus on most players, and given Straw’s vocality, I think it’s likely due to him shaping consensus on people rather than a case of him blindly following popular opinion. Moves on to pressure some people and consolidate a pool of lynch targets. Responds to Gears arguing in favour of village reads, which I again agree with. Starts the initial push which sent Silber toppling. I’d almost say they were trying to defend Pyro, except, well... They’re currently pushing a Pyro lynch with the idea it’ll help clarify TJ’s alignment. I’m...not sold on this, especially since regardless of the result of the lynch, it doesn’t really clear or even heavily implicate TJ, and it’s working with the assumption Pyro is evil to begin with, which...yeah, he is suspicious, but that seems to be the only outcome he’s considering. Overall, Straw earns a mild village read simply for the volume of discussion he’s produced and encouraged, and to keep that discussion going I want him alive. I’m not necessarily in agreement with his reads, though. 5. Vapor: A lot of shorter posts. Drops largely unexplained votes on myself, Straw, and Pyro, simply stating that he is suspicious each time without really elaborating further. While this is very suspect, it could just be that he’s newer and lost, as Mat pointed out, so I’m hesitant to condemn him too much for it. He’s mostly passive in response to pressure from Eternum and Straw, which makes me inclined to be sympathetic when viewing his first few posts. @Vapor, most of the suspicion on you seems to come from your lack of certainty, so don’t be afraid to speak your mind. Better to have your own “wrong” opinion than to just follow along with everyone else—that’s largely not much fun, and will get you suspected more quickly. Eventually does vote Silber and explains their reasoning, and posts a reads list towards the beginning of this cycle which is mostly inconclusive. I agree with Straw and Eternum that Vapor earns a very slight elim read, though I believe we should give him more of a chance to assert himself and express his own ideas, which it looks like he’s beginning to move towards; as such, I’d rather not lynch him this cycle. 6. Shard of Reading: Did not vote C1, and has posted very little. Dropped a largely unexplained vote on Pyro before leaving again. For similar reasons as Ashbringer, a slight elim read, as they seem to be trying to escape notice. @Shard of Reading, could I get your thoughts on four players of your choice, as well as a bit more explanation for your vote on Pyro? 7. Mist: Another lower-activity player. Agreed with Straw’s stance against random voting, then dropped a vote on Vapor for reasons left largely unexplained. Suspicious of Mat, made some projections on elim team size, and hasn’t posted since, including to vote this cycle. Unlike the other two, though, I don’t believe she’s intentionally trying to remain low-activity, as her posts have expressed fairly firm opinions. As such, a null read, and I hope she posts more. 9. TJ Shade: A complicated case. Has come under quite a bit of fire, for reasons I don’t really understand, so I’m going to perform my own analysis. Takes a mostly neutral stance in the poke-voting controversy, with perhaps a slight bias towards Straw, and makes pretty good points even if they’re mostly NAI. Votes on Xino for a change in tactics, which I’m not a huge fan of—people should have the freedom to change their playstyles if they’d like to. Does note that Straw was perhaps reading people based on their agreement with him, which, even if not strictly true, was a good generalised observation which seemed like something a villager would pick up on. Rightfully mentions that my vote on Straw lacked reasoning, and is one of the first to pivot to Silberbarfen, which ends up resulting in that lynch. Defends Pyro’s actions and bandwagoning as NAI for him, which is perhaps a good point, though it’s not exactly productive either, and I disagree with his stance that eliminators seem less likely to bandwagon. Elaborates on this more in his next post and makes a good argument for Silber’s lynch, which has decent reasoning even if we know the outcome—it was mainly PoE from a list Straw made himself. Makes good points this cycle as well, noting that Ventyl’s post on Xino’s death was perhaps exaggerated, and that his role in starting the Silber lynch wasn’t necessarily a good reason to lynch him. I do agree at the very least that Mint and Eternum’s condemnations of him are slightly flawed. Votes Mint as the most likely elim on the Silber train. Does get a little defensive in response to Mat, and makes a few points I disagree with; namely, I think voting someone for defending a person you suspect (or attacking a person you trust) is valid, though it’s obviously not as good as other forms of evidence. Overall, though, I think TJ received a disproportionate amount of condemnation and responsed reasonably well, and as such give him a mild village read. He’s given some good points, and I think a lot of people are tunnelling on him, or voting him because they have nowhere else to go. 10. Truthwatcher: Randomly votes on Silber, becoming the first person to do so. Clarified twice that he did so only to dodge the filter, and to avoid inactivity. Now that he seems to be a bit more active, he tried to incite discussion on why Xino was killed, which is slightly suspicious to me, as reading too far into elim kills can be a bad thing (especially on C1), and I don’t view it as a productive use of discussion unless we start to see patterns across multiple kills. Joined the Pyro bandwagon without much explanation. Elim read, probably my strongest amongst the lower-actives. Another case of someone who seems to be trying to slip below the radar, and has the most blatantly suspicious posts and voting patterns. Analysis on the next ten players coming, but I feel I owe the world a post, and I’m scared of this getting deleted. Vote will also come then.

  36. Location is sort of a tricky concept int he COsmere due to Spiritual Realm shenanigans. Have other Shards perhaps taken a look or visited Scadrial for a short time? It's likely. Did any of them "stay" long enough to Invest? I'd say no, because we get quite a lot of information on what's going on with Scadrial in the two series, and there's no indication that there was a third Shard involved up through Era 1. Era 2, on the other hand...

  37. Wow Chaos commented on the thread I started that's cool Yeah, I figured that was true from reading other things and stuff. I remember being twelve and having to use an iCloud account instead of Google

  38. Mother Dear "Who are you?" Asks Mom. She is lying in a hospital bed, talking to the figure sitting next to it. Beside her bed, there are flowers, and chocolate, and letters bearing hearts and good wishes. The beeping of the heart monitor keeps a steady beat. "I'm your son," I say.

  39. No, my moral compass says no she shouldn’t have done that. As a reader, however, I love it because it illustrates Jasnah’s cold logic and gives you a glimpse of just how damaged she is. I can’t wait to read her book in the back 5.

  41. Summoning imaginary friends can be pretty complex, though. I will not just convert every fraction into decimals, even if I really, really want to.

  46. So I was thinking about cosmere based humor recently, and realized that in one of the earliest interludes in WoK, Brandon gives us the perfect set up for a joke, namely: Gallodon Demoux and Baon walked into a purelake tavern. I think this set up has potential, and was wondering if anyone had ideas for a punchline? My idea for the end is: They asked Ishikk if he had seen a certain man with white hair. Ishikk replied that he hadn't seen him, but he'd Hoid (heard, but mispronounced) of him. That is the best I've got, so I need your input.

  47. I want Hoid's musical number to be something like "You're welcome" from Moana, where (Moana spoilers, I guess) he leads his listeners into some magical world with his singing and then it turns out he stole everything from them while they were busy being amazed. Also, each Shard needs its own song. With Bavadin's being a choir piece and her doing all of the voices.
