  1. N2: Klexos and Kudoclasm All Things End. . . . . .Time. . . .Power . . .Life . . .Man But ending does not mean forgetting. Life is not defined by Death. Strength in Life is not turned to Weakness. Those who have completed the Journey do not vanish from history upon reaching their Destination. They are remembered. They are discussed in tones of Awe and Terror. They are worshipped and they are feared. With Faith, all things are possible. With Faith, a man can inspire Wonder and Fearn. What is Fear but Faith in the power of the enemy? What is Wonder but Faith in the power of your own? Wonder and Fear are the most powerful tools of the faithful in the creation of gods. Together, The mind of men shape the worlds and the Gods that rule them. The emotions men inspire shape their destiny. Joy and Comfort and trust and Determination and Sorrow and Rage and Fear and Hatred. All shape the man into something else. The hearts and Mind of men are powerful. They create things. Space. . . Order. . . Death. . . Gods. . . . . .And Begin Again. The Gods of Men are known and unknowable. The Darkness and the Light, and the Chaos in between. They are not the false gods of Adonalsium. They are the Illuminant Mother, the Veiled Father, and the Volatile Vision. Created by the Hearts of man, by the lust of power, the fear of the dark, the desire to learn, they shaped the worlds they walked on, and altered the fates of their worshipers. But they held no illusions as to their creation. They knew of their nothingness without their worshippers, their agents, their confidants, their friends. They knew what would happen should they be lost, and did their best to ensure the continual survival of all who had helped create them. The Brightness and the Shadow and the Storm knew they could not force a man to endure past his own will. And they knew when a man so important to them all refused to continue on. The pacified the Cosmere in the urgency to watch the most momentous of occasions. Everything was stopped, but on hold, delayed, save for a palace in a Godless City on an Ancient world. They stopped, and watched as an Era came to an end. They watched as their power faded irreversibly. “My name is Esheo. My name is Aili. My name is Maw. I am Braveheart and Trueheart, Liram and Malarn, I am Thirty lives, full of change. Where I walk, Empires fall and Dynasties die. Where I sleep, Armies ravage and Storms shatter. When I speak, villains weep, and poets smile. I am the True Lord of Odium, and the Stalwart Protector. I am the Spymaster of the Shadow. I am the Silverpike of the Storm. I am the one who survives the falling Silence. I am the voice of Creation.” “I was the first to fight the Bloodthirsty Goddess. I was the first to follow the Shadow. I was the first to spread the Chaos of the Storm. And now, I am the first to truly leave. Farewell.” Everyone was silent after Esheo finished speaking. The noose he had insisted they tie t hang him hung around his neck, waiting for him to take a single step off the platform. No one truly wanted him to take the step, but none could deny his right. Not fully. In a manner unlike anything most of the citizenry had felt before, a Presence in the crowd made itself known. A Lurking, unquantifiable menace. Life turned to numbers. The crowd parted, revealing the silhouette of a man. The only feature distinguishable upon his form were glowing eyes, though what colour they were, none could say. All knew instinctively what his words were, though they were never uttered aloud. You will not die like a common born. I cannot stop your departure from this plane, but I can enhance it. The shivering darkness of the Presence receded, as another had always been upon the platform with Esheo. A figure of Light , with hands and feet stained by blood had always been behind him, and always would. The crowd spoke her will aloud in accordance with her desire. “SERVITOR OF SHADOWS, I WELCOME YOUR DEPARTURE, BUT CURSE YOUR ABSENCE. YOUR ARRIVAL IN THE REALMS BEYOND OUR OWN WILL BE HERALDED, AND YOU WILL BE WELCOMED WITH THE HIGHEST OF HONOURS.” The Silence was shattered by the sudden Storm above. A voice of thunder and glee burst forth from the darkened sky. “Eldest of man, and true wielder of Chaos, My gift to you is remembrance. Your name will be on the lips of all for years to come. Your absence will shape the Cosmere, and when you return, you will find a host awaiting your wisdom and glory.” The Three spoke as one. GO NOW WITH OUR BLESSING, WILLIAM, SON OF ANDERS. The Silhouette of the man rose his arm, and all light in the world went out. In a great burst of light and Shadow, Esheo died. Mailliw was lynched! He was a Citizen Bodyguard! What? Why? Balance reasons mostly, but also amusement. I enjoy making the village lynch their own protection roles, plus Mailliw has been a protection role the past three games before this. And I try not to be predictable. A Jester was way too obvious. Pirate, Bodyguard and Nobe are now available for Beggars. 3. Thanks for that writeup send off, Joe! That was great! This will be my last post here. I'll see you in two years. Best of luck to the Citizens. In response to Ada's post from last night: Unless you played QF8, I have played or GMd every game. It was definitely still fun to be on a team with you and I'm sure I'd enjoy it still as we've both changed since I said that.

  5. Recently, there has been much discussion about what potential benefits--beyond the Surges--KR might obtain as a result of the Nahel bond, motivated in part by the snippet of Edgedancer Brandon released in the newsletter, where Lift's request to the Nightwatcher is revealed almost verbatim: This sparked significant discussion as to whether she would receive as her boon an extended lifespan, or whether her cognitive aspect had simply been frozen in the state it was in as she made that request. I, however, had another hypothesis--that the KR were simply immortal (or at least very long-lived) merely by the nature of their bond-- based on relevant information in the form of a single line in one of Dalinar's visions, where he is conversing with a (presumably) Stoneward: This single line to me offers the most compelling evidence for a Radiant gaining some form of immortality from the Nahel bond. We know the Desolations could not have occurred more than once every century or so, both from the minimum time required to regenerate the lost population and forget metalworking, as well as another comment made during the vision, this one by Heb's (the man whom Dalinar is possessing) wife: This suggests that a person could reasonably expect to live their entire life without ever once experiencing a Desolation, which fits the minimum amount of time I posited before--about a century (though I suspect that the interval was often significantly longer). Therefore, Harkaylain--who has gained a reputation for successfully predicting Desolations enough times to be known for usually being correct--must be centuries old, if not millennia, in order to have a number of positive results sufficient for that purpose, and in the context of that quote he is fairly strongly implied to be a Radiant himself. There are a number of other, unknown factors that could contribute to this quote, such as Harkaylain being an Aimian (strongly suspected of being immortal as a race), but overall I find it more compelling to believe that the KR as a whole gain significant life extension. After all, by forming the Nahel bond, the spren seek to emulate the Heralds; we know this happens with Blade and with Surges, so stretching that to accommodate 'lifespan' does not seem infeasible to me. Likewise, it would fit with Lift's request--in this way, her boon would be to become a Radiant herself, which, though she probably did not expect it, would nonetheless fulfill her wish, as well as explain Wyndle's confusion as to why she was selected over the other candidates for Radianthood: Because it was the most expedient and in line with Cultivation's goals manner of granting her boon. If there is anything glaring I have overlooked, or a flaw in my reasoning, I would be glad to be notified of it; I figure this is likely so, as it seems that if it were this simple many of you would have already reached the same conclusion as I--that Radiants are granted a significant life extension, if not true immortality from their bond--but perhaps it has merely been overlooked.

Things like "I'm working" "I don't see how that applies to the job at hand" etc, will resolve a lot of issues. Just be consistent. If he becomes a creepazoid, notify the proper supervisor.

  8. The Second Day The Night was cold, and dark, the half moon covered by a stormfront that had rolled in from the ocean. The flickering light of the street lamps provided enough illumination for Straw to see that the streets were empty as he hurried from doorway to doorway. He was fairly certain that he was being followed. The lack of noises from behind made it obvious. There were cats and insects ahead of him, where no one had walked recently. But they stayed silent for far too long behind him. He turned the corner of Etu Street onto Koi street and saw Aeleus waiting for him up ahead. Good. He needed allies among the nobility if he wanted to live another day. His chest still hurt from where Ashkelon had shoved the spear through it. He had managed to avoid the mobs for a week or so, but he hee wouldn’t survive another one. Aeleus pushed himself upright form where he had been leaning as soon as Straw reached him. “You wanted to meet with me?” “You were part of the mob that accused me of conspiring against Iadon a while back. And yet, your fellow Nobility told Iadon to arrest Naara.” “I don’t have to agree with them. We work together, yes, but we’re not a collective, Pirate." Straw grinned at the loathing in the word. “Pirate indeed. Retired, because I had enough wealth to live the rest of my life quite comfortably. And, as you well know, oh newly appointed lord, money is power in this city.” Aeleus raised an eyebrow, and gestured for him to go on. “Name your price to support me, both publicly, and in the ranks of the nobility.” “An, interesting, proposal to be sure, but I can claim your money once you’re dead as well, can’t I?” “Or I could snap your-” His threat was interrupted by a clear voice coming from behind him. “A Monk and a Gambler had a debate. They discussed the concepts of God Chance and Fate. The Gambler decried the existence of two, while the Monk scoffed at the idea of the other. Tell me good sirs, does Domi have a plan for this night? Or is it all up to Man?” Straw couldn’t see anyone from where the voice was coming from. Aeleus stepped up next to him, peering into the darkness. “Who are you?” “A God among men.” Something dropped from the sky onto Straw, and he pitched forward onto the ground. He rolled sideways, throwing his assailant off his back. Aeleus stepped forward and held out a dagger to him, keeping his eyes on the cloaked man. “Truce?” “Acceptable.” He grabbed the dagger by the blade and threw it underhanded at the man in one motion. The man caught it, then sprung to his feet. “The answer my friends, is, Huh? Who are you?” Something hit Straw in the back of the head, throwing him into the brick wall next to him. It was followed up with two more blows to his face in rapid succession. He slumped over, his vision blackening. His last sight was that of Aeleus’ corpse hitting the ground next to him. Straw was killed! He was a Citizen Retired Pirate! Ecthellion III was killed! He was a Citizen Noble! Retired Pirate and Noble are now available for Beggars to take. The Day will end in twenty-four (24) hours. PM's are once again open!

  9. I think he was just playing a role. We do not even know if he can get drunk at this point magic, etc. because he has changed so much magiclly. And Kelsier is about as arrogant as they come, so not hard to imagine wailing on him. Kelsier is the one that chose to intervene and got what was coming to him. And that pool was a dangerious place for Hoid, so it's not like he wants to stick around. Beating up Kelsier gets him on his way faster. And based on Liars of Partinel, Hoid is not exactly a saint and he's a Jesk -- think bard and court jester -- so Wit fits in perfectly with that. And it's hard to fault him for making fun of idiots too caught up in petty squabbles to see the signs of imminent doom for Roshar, Sadeas being an obvious example. It's probably like a vacation for him. That and he does poke and prod the people that he feels he can help. He even says as much in a conversation with Dalinar about Renarin. If he's an alcoholic then it's recent because no alcholic could function as well as he does for so long. But we have no evidence to suggest he is. Like I said, he may not even be able to get drunk. For all he know, the perfume was part of an act, possibly even a cover for drinking metals. Sorry, but I think you are reading too much into things.

  11. So I have a random theory, I don't think it would have any ramifications on the story if true, but is a fun thought to me. And perhaps someone here will make a connection I haven't seen yet. While re-reading WoR I was wondering how Lin Davar got the attention of the Ghostbloods in the first place. The Davars are essentially an unimportant family in Jah Keved, as quoted by Shallan at least once. How did Lin convince the Ghostbloods to give him their soulcaster to gain power within Jah Keved? Sure he would be indebted to the Ghostbloods if he rose to the kingship, a very powerful tool for them to have, but they could have done that with any family, why the Davars? Because they knew Shallan was a budding radiant and a hold on the Davar family would give them an edge on at least one radiant order when they began rising to power. Shallan's mother figured out what she was and died trying to kill her. This allowed her father to recognize Shallan's powers and use this to gain the attention of the Ghostbloods. I think Mraize was able to connect Shallan with Veil sometime between the mission to get information on Talan and the march onto the plains. This is why he risked going out with the army rather than staying, he knew a Radiant would be his best bet to find the Oathgate. Kindly ignore that this seems to contradict the theory. i choose to believe that Mraize is underplaying his knowledge so as to keep an edge on Shallan. He states he already guessed at Veil's powers. I think that this may also be why the Sons of Honor accepted Helaran into their ranks and gave him a shardblade. I have seen a few theories that he may have been bonding a spren himself, but I like this better. Anyways, what do you think?

  13. Was this review on Tumblr, by any chance? Also, ugh. By this reviewer's logic, Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl was complicit in slavery for depicting its horrors; The Handmaid's Tale was complicit in brutal misogyny for taking a rigid patriarchal society to its logical conclusion; Heart of Darkness was complicit in European colonialism and the Scramble for Africa by revealing its horrific effect on those forced to live with its consequences; and The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian was complicit in discrimination against the Spokane Natives for cluing readers in to just how messed up the reservation system is. The "logic," or what passes for it, falls apart when you squint at it too hard.

I've stumbled across a Dishonored review (the article was about women in the game) and then read the comments... : Remember kids: If your work contains oppresion or tyrannical rulers, it means you support it If genocide happens, it means you support it... Those kinds of logic really raise my bloodpressure. If you'll excuse me, I'll be murdering some bad people while avenging the Empress. BTW, Dishonored is really good.

  15. ....Wait. The....nonexistent Reckoner's Jacket? Oh wait! I know what you're giving me! I know what this is! Your ability to pull gambits. You're risk-taking skills as an eliminator! I accept. I accept so much. Yay! But... I don't even know where to start with this one. For one, it's usually me that gets overthrown in those coups--which totally isn't cool, mind you--and two...are you trying to bring down the Holy Order? I'm supposedly one of those Maill-designated "slaves" (even though I'm totally not a slave), and the fact that you're trying to pass the "ownership" of me (which can't be passed, mind you, as I retain full ownership of me no matter what you or Aman says to the contrary) to my Grandmaster.... Oh my word. You are. You're trying to destroy the Holy Order. This is your true final gift to your Lord, isn't it? No matter what you say to the contrary. Of course it is, Silverpike. Emerald. Maill. Die, once and for all. Die and let the shadows die with you. May the Light reign supreme. But really, though, thanks for the good times, Maill. Oh, and Iron Man will always be the best. : P

  25. This night brought me a strange Idea (a development form "the heralds are all yolish"): We know Roshar was careffully designed by Adonalsium (if another theory of mine is true, much more than others Shardworlds) and what if did the Big A. place guardians to his precious project ? Ten Yolish guy who He changed to be more fitting to their role. Immortal Superhumans guardians of Great Roshar System. Then when H&C cames and Odium would manifested a treat to the System, Honor and Heralds made an Alliance to stop/bound/kill him. They recive the Honorblades quite lately but their are Immortal Superhuman by a lot of time before. okok I have to sleep more and think less....understood

  26. Eh, if anyone wants to know, this is STINK's guide to fun! 1. Never be 100% certain of anything, 2. If someone says something and you trust them, continue to trust them until they do something untrustworthy. 3. Continuing on from that, find players you trust before players you don't trust, so that you always have some communication that can be fun going. 4. Not every post has to be 100% about SE 5. If you've just made multiple posts about something, it's probably time for you to stop posting about it, you're way too biased by then. 6. This is starting to look like a proper thing woah. 7. Remember that part of the fun to you might be winning, but to others its the personal interactions So don't try to shut down all OOG talk. (damnation this does look pretty good)

  27. In the Prologue of WoR, Jasnah meets an Azish man with a white birthmark/scar on his cheek, dressed in black and silver. While it is revealed at the end of WoR that that guy is actually the Herald Nalan/Nin, Herald of Justice, we don't know yet who is his companion (or do we? I don't know at least). Those two have two topics: first topic is Ash, the second is someone carrying a Blade. Ash I believe Ash refers to Shallash, who is the 6th Herald. The wiki says her nickname is Ash. Also, the second guy is worrying about her, because she's getting worse. I believe he is referring to Shallash destroying art all over everywhere. There have been people pointing out that Shallash is probably Baxil's mistress who is destroying art. From the prologue in TWoK we know that the Shallash-statue is missing in the Kholin palace. I suppose Nalan and his companion were strolling around the palace, passing by the statues, noting that the Shallash-statue is missing and that's what made the companion worry about her. The person carrying a Blade The spelling being 'Blade' instead of 'blade' indicates that they were talking about a Shardblade or an Honorblade. The companion states, that that Blade belonged to 'his Lord': I suppose they were talking about Szeth. From the prologue of TWoK we know that Szeth saw those two talking to Elhokar, the companion looking nervously around. Also those two were in the corridors when Szeth started his attack. The screaming starts just after Jasnah met them. The identity of the companion We know by now that Szeth was carrying Jezrien's Honorblade, the Blade giving him the Windrunner-powers. So if the companion was really referring to Szeth, then this would imply that the companion sees Jezrien as his lord. From the Prelude to the SA we know that Jezrien had been a king in his time before becoming a Herald. This would indicate that Nalan's companion was either a subject of Jezrien back then or that he is another Herald, recognizing Jezrien as their leader. I'm thinking that the companion is another Herald. He's referring to Ash: So, if Ash is indeed Shallash, a Herald, then the companion, using "we" might be a Herald too. He could just be another survivor of that time, but I think that's highly unlikely. Also the use of Shallash's nickname indicates a familiarity. So, conclusion: those few lines show us three different Heralds. Nalan, Shallash, and a third one. Male, not Nalan, probably not Jezrien, not Taln, so either Kalak or Ishar.

  32. So basically this is my understanding of what's going on with Len, and why I haven't gotten involved until now. Len starts the day turn doing his usual thing. I take note of it, but it doesn't seem much different than the way he was acting in MR15. Not too long after I get approached by a player who says he is really suspicious of him (and at the time, wanted him dead), but was afraid he was tunneling because there's quite a few things Len said / did in MR15 that irked him, and despite this being a new game, it didn't seem like he was doing any better. Said player asks me to keep my eye on Len so that I can help keep his bias in check. I say okay, cool, will do. And I do. And despite him (and other players) saying they were suspicious of Len, I saw it less of him being an eliminator and more him just getting on some people's nerves. Kipper's first post talking about him is a pretty good example of a terrible reason to vote someone for the lynch (in a nutshell, he was annoyed and wanted to shut him up; or, at least, that's how I read it). Anyway, I don't hear anything more about Len for a while. though I am watching the votes accumulate on him, taking note on who voted for him and who defended him. Magestar defends him pretty strongly, which while I agree with the reasons completely, I can't help but be curious if there's an ulterior motive to it (aka teammates). So, I let it run it's course for the exact same reason Sart mentioned earlier this turn. I saw some parallels with the swing off of him to previous games and felt no need to get directly involved myself. After all, I told the thread I really didn't think Sart was evil on D1 of LG22 and I never got involved, and that ended up working really well for the village (a part of the reason why I think my early game reads are inefficient compared to my late game). Anyway, Len and Straw end up getting tied, or at least very close, in votes, and the same player who asked me to keep my eye on Len tells me that he claimed Duke and that he was going to use his power to kill Straw. So I was like, okay, cool, let's see if he's not bluffing and has the actual power to do it. Towards the end of the turn I also catch wind that Len is part of some kind of weird Claim-Chain, where a "Duke" had created some kind of cell and was coordinating votes / claims within it. The "Duke" would have them tell one of the other players their role so that everyone knew their own little bit of info, and then that info would get passed around until everyone knew everybody's role (but not the identities of every player) or something weird like that, so that the Duke could tell them all "Dula do this and Merchant do that" or whatever. The same player who tells me about this also tells me that they assumed it was Mailliw because someone told him that Mailliw asked Len to vote on Bard and Len told Bard that Mailliw was trying to get him killed. Bard also apparently told the same player about the situation from their perspective, I think. If you're confused by that last paragraph it's because it's storming confusing, and a lot of the reason why I've just been letting it run it's course. I've only just recently got a PM from Len, and he basically clarified some details for me, which are: he claimed Pirate to some people around the time that he decided to post his "go ahead and lynch me" shpeel and that some of those people found that suspicious because it was the type of desperate move an eliminator might try to pull when they're leading in a lynch. My personal opinion on that is it's not very alignment indicative. I understand the desire for self-preservation from a Village perspective absolutely (D2 of LG23, and many more before that). He also told me that the thing about the Chain-Claim was just a lie he conceived to back up some of his claims, or something to that effect. Before this I was still content to leave things because there were enough difficult-to-comprehend shenanigans going on that confirmation of Len's role and alignment could alleviate, as well as help me get some reads on the players voting for and defending him. I also heard something about him lying about being a Noble and promising to vote on Burnt, but it turns out I had misunderstood what that player was trying to tell me (basically they told me two things at once - that he had asked two Nobles to vote for Burnt to prove their role, and that Len admitted to lying about his role - and I had though he was saying Len was one of those claimed Nobles and that was the role he lied about, so then I was even more confused about how the Burnt vote succeeded and I decided I needed some answers). After having this all clarified for me, I came back to the same conclusion I had on D1. I think Len is a villager, albeit a misguided one. I remember how lost I felt in my first two games here and can sympathize with that. I also had to deal with a very similar situation in LG15b where Creccio was doing all kinds of crazy and confusing things in PMs and I lead a lynch on him just to get some concrete evidence, only to find out he was just a villager and the other person we were originally going to lynch that turn was an eliminator so... yeah. I already brought this up in a couple PMs, but I'm perfectly okay with only lynching Mailliw at this point instead of trying to jam someone else in there that doesn't have sufficient reasoning behind it. I don't agree with the lynch on Len or the lynch on Emerald, but I also don't have enough time in this turn right now to present a case for a couple people that I personally am suspicious of. So... yeah. If there are Merchants out there and you can soothe some random votes, I would appreciate it. Also if there are more Dukes than just Elenion, I would be happy to see you use your power on Mailliw. Nobles too. What's the biggest record for votes on a player again, @little wilson? I know I've asked you before. (9) Mailliw73: Amanuensis, OrlokTsubodai, TheMightyLopen, Kipper, Magestar, Elenion, little wilson, Alvron, Elbereth, (5) Elenion: Sart, Arraenae, The Young Bard, Stink, Renegade, (2) Emerald101: Conquestor, jaimeleecee, (1) Elbereth: Araris Valerian, Storming ninjas!

  33. Oh, yeah. Was gonna put my reads up. Village reads: Aman(fairly strong read) Elbereth(weak read) Young Bard(medium read) Elenion(weak read) Kipper(weak read) Other reads: Orlok - started off as a village read but now I'm not really sure. He's in the middle for me(was gonna say Neutral read, but... ) Wilson - I don't really know. I'm a little suspicious of her, but not a whole lot. Burnt - I'm a little suspicious of her just due to talking with her in PM's, but it's very hard for me to tell her alignment. Stink - I think he's telling the truth about being Neutral. Jaime - gut suspicion. Magestar - gut suspicion initially but his defense to me the other Day dealt with that pretty much. Emerald - I can't really decide on. I thought her defense earlier this Day sounded village, but Elbereth has a gut read against her and if Wilson is actually village, that would make me a lot more concerned about Emerald. I just can't bring myself to trust Wilson much, if at all, based on what she's done so far Really, that's about it. I don't have any strong suspicions at the moment. Oh, I'm the one who asked Silverblade and the other Noble claim I got to Noble vote on Burnt(as a joke on Burnt and also so they could prove their roles to me). I see no reason to doubt the other players claim, given Burnt did receive the Noble vote. Still, he(silverblade) knows who the other claimed Noble is now, so they can talk it out between themselves(they both wanted to know who the other was).

  34. I am with @Argel on this one. Simply a disguise imo. Kelsier attacked Hoid. Hoid defended himself and did what he needed to do to get out of the Well. Also, as @Yata mentioned, Hoid could have done serious harm to Kelsier but did not. The role of Wit gives Hoid unparalleled access to the most powerful people in Alethkar and also gives him complete freedom of movement. It is a great job to have if you need to keep an eye on what is happening on Roshar but you also need the ability to disappear at times. It was a good idea Figberts but I think the more obvious answers are, in this case, the right ones.

  35. I mentioned being suspicious of Emerald during D1, and while I didn't vote for him, that suspicion grew. Particularly after he shot me a PM detailing exactly how helpful he's been, and why he shouldn't be viewed as suspicious. He then ended it with a question: What else can I do? To me, this reads exactly like an eliminator who doesn't have much experience being an eliminator panicking about an accusation, so one of their teammates tells them to PM me to explain what they've done and why. Only problem is that a PM like that doesn't lessen my suspicion of a person. While a villager could make a PM like that, an eliminator has far more reason to. Thus, my suspicion of Emerald has merely grown and now I'd like to figure out his alignment through death. I'm almost certain that alignment will be of the red variety.

  37. Stink's feeling lazy so he's making me answer. You read the chart from left to right. If a Charmander attacks a Squirtle, you'll deal no damage and receive the GM PM "Your attack was not effective." Gotcha :]

  38. We rise as they fall and they break and they make their mistakes anyway and if there's a reason I'm still alive when everyone who trusts me has died, I'm willing to wait for it. (Sorry for the delay there - I wanted to wait to post that until AFTER LG23 finished) Question for Stink - Which way do you read the chart? If my Charmander attacks someone else's Squirtle, is it Super Effective or Not Effective?

  39. I am in a creative writing class, and we have to write a short story. I came up with the idea of a dragon that thinks it's a unicorn, and it escalated from there. So, I have this. It is fairly large. I would appreciate any and all constructive feedback. At this point I am aware that it is not an especially good piece. If something doesn't work, I ask that you quote that particular part of the story so I don't have to comb through the whole thing looking for the issue. It isn't all typed up yet, and I still have a good chunk of pages left.

  42. Yes, this is not who you are looking for, fellow Sanderfans. But hello, I'm voidyhoid, that person who's obsessed with ALL the Brandon Sanderson books. They're so good that I can't stop rereading them so often. Ah, anyway, I'll be seeing you around a lot now. I've been waiting to join the forums for a long time.

  43. I have been posting here and there and figured I should introduce myself. I have been reading Brandon Sanderson since elantris and mistborn were still just barely out and he is my favorite author hands down. (Also I am not a big fan of cookies, particularly cookies with unwarranted amounts of iron . . .)
