Wow......that’s epic.

For some reason I always pictured the Purelake as sort of a milky white color, but now that I’m thinking about it, I don’t think it ever gives us any indication it would be, right? It would probably look just like that.

What in the who the where the what now has this been hiding out on us?!?! This is incredible!!

I absolutely love the attention to detail, the ripples on the water, the shadow onto the surface of the water and below, and all the cracks you have put into the lake floor. The color choice is excellent it totally gives me a Caribbean/Bora Bora vibe with the water colors and the overwater bungalows in the background!

You even have all the different shades in the trees and the fish in the water along with the nuanced lakebed coloring. Absolutely stunning, well done!!

is that Ishikk? He looks cool!

Have you seen Bonnie Johnson's drawings of the Purelake?

I'd love to see your take on the Reshi Isles!

Yes it was based on him. Though from a few tid bits he says in his chapter I believe he'd be a bit older.

I have and they're beautiful!

Moving onto the Reshi Isles next actually!
It should be fun!

Thank you! It's described a being crystal clear water.
I based the colours off of Te Waikoropupu Springs which I visited recently. It's a pure spring where ancient water bubbles up to the surface through various vents. It's super magical and gave me major purelake vibes while I was there :)

Thank you very much you're too kind!
I've always loved the Purelake and decided that it was time I needed to try and draw it.
I'm glad you liked it :)
